Compact. Fast charging. Great travel companion.
Wanted this just in case I run out of juice. I use a Samsung Fold with a 4400mah battery. Never feel truly comfortable with the battery life but didn’t want to carry around a heavy battery backup, so this was ideal. I’d say I get 1 full charge out of it which is just fine with me for the times when I’m running low. I think it does a decent job of charging quickly and it connects just fine to the USB-C port without falling out. Size is about as compact as you’re going to get with something that has a 5000mah battery in it. Power status lights are convenient and there’s a kickstand for those with a normal fold. Doesn’t quite work with a foldable phone but others will find it useful. So far, really happy with this battery backup charger.

Update (2/27/25): With more testing, I have a better sense of the overheating issue. I touched up the charge a couple of times with my phone at least 50%, and had no issues. I charged another time with my phone in the 30% range, and it overheated again, just not quite as hot as before. Based on what I am seeing, when the phone is low on charge (especially around 20-30%), this charger will overheat while charging the phone and will get hotter from a lower percent, or in proportion to the amount of charging effort. I have not tried, and don’t plan to try, charging from below 20% because that is hard on a phone battery.Original review (2/19/25): I got this charger for use with my iPhone 16 Pro. I’ve used this charger type before with my previous lightning-connection phone, and it worked well. I like that the screen shows the percent charge and the button on the side to turn on the screen. The cover for the USB-C connector is great for keeping dust out and seems to be made of silicone, which should be better than the hard plastic ones I’ve had in the past which can break easily. This charger has a stand in the back, which can only be used to keep the charger alone upright; it cannot hold the weight of the phone on the charger; it is not useful for my purposes. The included charging cord is USB-C to USB-A. When charging the charger, the screen lights and the number flashes, and when the charger reaches 100%, the display stays on even after charging is complete until unplugged. To charge my phone, the charger seats securely in the base. It extends almost 1-1/2 inches below the phone and is convenient to hold. It took about a half hour to charge my phone from 20-80%, and the charger went from 90-19% in the process. Also, the charger became uncomfortably warm while charging during this time. To double check heat issues, I checked while recharging the charger, and it barely got warm. Checking again, over about 45 minutes, I charged my phone from about 50-80%, and the charger barely got warm. So it only overheated the one time, and that is something I will continue to check for safety. This charger is great, with the exception of the overheating concern. I expect it’ll charge my phone 1+ times. It did charge quickly enough.

This little gadget is a very handy one. It charged up fairly quickly and charged my phone VERY quickly the first time I used it, about a week later. Seems to hold its own charge very well, and I was impressed at the speed with which it charged my phone.Hopefully, it continues to work as well as it has the first two times I’ve used it. It’s compact and not too heavy to carry around in my purse, ensuring that I will never be without my phone.So far, so good! Would definitely recommend 🙂

This power bank is small and lightweight, making it easy to use while holding the phone. It charges quickly with a 20W output and provides about one full charge before needing a recharge. The digital display is a great feature, showing the exact battery percentage left. The built-in kickstand is useful for propping up the phone, but it’s made of plastic and doesn’t feel very sturdy. The dust cover for the charging port is a nice touch. Overall, it’s a handy backup charger, but the stand could be more durable.
