Why does the digital display show the battery capacity decreasing rapidly while charging a phone?
Anker Power Bank has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh. Due to efficiency losses in the conversion circuit, its rated capacity at 5V is about 3,000mAh. Therefore, it is normal for the product to lose about 3% of power per minute during use.
Why is my power bank providing fewer charges than expected?
The capacity reduction during charging is due to a 30% to 45% energy loss in the battery cells and conversion circuitry. Therefore, a fully charged 5,000mAh Anker Power Bank offers an estimated 2,750mAh to 3,500mAh to power devices.
How many times can the product charge devices in power bank mode?
In power bank mode, it can fully charge an iPhone 13 once, provide about 0.9 charges for iPhone 14/15, about 0.8 charges for Samsung S23, and about 0.7 charges for S23 Ultra.
How can I estimate the number of charges for my device?
To estimate charges, use this formula: (Power Bank Capacity × 0.7) ÷ Device Battery Capacity. For example, an iPhone 15 with a 3,877mAh battery can receive about 0.9 charges from a 5,000mAh power bank (calculated as (5,000mAh × 0.7) ÷ 3,877mAh).
Is it normal for the power bank to get slightly warm during use?
Slight heating due to efficiency losses in the conversion circuit is normal. The temperature of this Anker Power Bank meets the temperature limits of the IEC62368 certification standard.

Great product. Great brand.
I love all my Anker products, and I have several. This one charges really quickly, either from the two outlet prongs or the male and female USB-C connections. Itâs a good size for the pocket. I find it charges my iPhone 15 Pro to full and still has a little bit of juice left over.Itâs a really handy, literally, design allowing to you hold it with the cable loop while plugged into your phone.

Solid & Portable
It’s 3 in 1 setup makes up for its extremely short battery life when charging a device at max speed (30W w/ Pixel 8 Pro). Besides that, it’s a very handy charger. Well worth the price.

Small but mighty
Itâs good for about 2 full charges and change for my iPhone . But it charges quick and is small . I think those trade offs and for the price, itâs a solid addition to my travel kit

Wonât charge AirPods even though they take lightening bolt
Works like a charm for iPhone!! But it doesnât charge my AirPods. It charges either a lightening bolt, and even though my AirPods use lightening bolt (I use the same wall charger for both my iPhone and my AirPods) this charger will NOT charge them for some reason. A lightning bolt charger should charge a lightning-bolt-charged device!
Alex B –
Very convenient. Wish it supported more than one cable type.
It’s really convenient that this functions as its own charger. My other power banks are constantly empty because having to locate a charger for my charger is annoying (yo dawg). My only complaint is I wish I didn’t have to choose between lightening and USB. Give me all the types please! I ended up buying another cable which kind of defeats the purpose of having a built-in cable.

This is super useful as a daily driver. It doubles as a charger as well as a power bank in a pinch. I take this on my travels, when i get back to my hotel, I plug my phone into this and plug it into the wall. By the morning I have a charged phone and a charged power bank. Not sure if Anker has a 10k mAh version of this, if there is, get that one, if not this is still very good.

Nice, compact and lightweight, exactly what needed when I’m in a rush and the phone’s battery is low. I can have the charger plugged into AC during any little time that I have with access to an outlet and quickly unplug and go my way when I need to. The internal battery charges really quick, from 0 to 100 in about 2.5 hours. The build quality is really good and I like the subtle quality of life features like the ability to turn off the display when not needed.

Easy to carry around and fast charging. One star off due to small capacity
