Customers say
Customers find the yoga mat perfect for travel, noting it’s extremely portable and easy to pack in a work bag. The mat works well in hot yoga classes and is easy to clean by throwing it in the washer. While some customers say it stays in place better than anything, others report slipping issues. The mat’s durability receives mixed feedback, with some praising its construction while others report fraying at the edges, and customers find it too thin for use on hard floors.

Really great towel
I use this towel on top of my cheap Target yoga mat to soak up sweat and provide more traction, and it works perfectly. Since it’s coated with rubber on the bottom, it doesn’t slide (unless, of course, your mat is wet before you lay the towel on top of it) and it’s heavy enough where it stays put (it doesn’t get all crumpled up when you move your feet, like the Yogitoes towels are notorious for). This towel is a little pricey (albeit just a fraction of the cost of its competitors) but definitely worth the investment. It makes a world of a difference compared to using just* a mat, especially during hot yoga.Care instructions: throw in washing machine on cold, hang dry. Only takes a couple hours to dry. I’ve done this a couple times now and it’s still like new!

No slip!
I got this mat to use during my weekly yoga class after work. I kept slipping using the club mats. I really like this mat because I can fold it up and put it into my work bag easily, then lay it out and not have to worry about slipping all over the place during my workouts. It’s also great for someone that sweats a lot. It absorbs sweat well so that my mat isn’t all soaked and slippery during practice, then afterwards I just throw it in the laundry. As to the complaints of it’s smell, it did smell very strongly at first. I put it in the washing machine and dryer, then let it set out draped over a chair for a few days. After that the smell went away and it has worked great. It obviously does not have padding, so if you are someone who needs a layer of padding for your practice you may need to either throw this over another mat or just use a different mat.

Favorite of several different towels
My wife uses and loves this towel. We own several models of yoga towels to place on our mats during hot yoga – I get the others. She won’t share this one. After a few years, the first one wore out (I believe it overheated or damaged/wore out the bottom rubbing other objects in the dryer – our fault, not the towel’s) and we’re on towel #2. We dry it on a towel rack now after washing. The sticky side stays on the yoga mat, and the top side still provides good grip and traction while absorbing sweat. There used to be other colors available. Hoping they return so I can have a different color one than my wife’s.

Works for me.
Just what I was looking for.Pros:Folds up small. Perfect for travel especially in comparison to a rolled up mat.No slippage issues (I use with the “Gaiam” label side up).Use for daily practice at home on carpet… works great.Faster than rolling up a mat and smaller to stash out of the way after use.Washable. Gentle cycle on cold, air dry. Worked fine.Cons:Small quality issue: the end cuts of the mat are clearly on a slant compared to the imprinted grid pattern – one or the other is off kilter.Wish it were a bit wider, but it is exactly equal in width to standard yoga mats… so barely a fault.Would recommend, particularly if you want to travel light and avoid direct contact with hotel carpet when exercising. Or live in a small space and don’t want a rolled mat sitting around.

Perfect for yoga on carpet
I bought this to make a yoga practice more accessible to me during the work day at home (meaning no excuses for not doing something good for me). This towel worked perfectly on my carpeted den floor. Minimal slippages, unlike a mat, and itâs easy to clean post-practice and store away when finished. I use a damp Norwex cloth to wipe it down after and let it dry before folding up to store. When itâs time to wash it, I plan to use cool water, delicate setting, a tiny amount of soap, and air dry and that should be all it needs.

The only one that works for me in hot yoga
I’ve tried other mats. The ones with the little dots on the bottom hurt my feet. Many of them just don’t stay put. I literally have a puddle that’s wet on this thing and it handles it. My feet don’t slip during any of the poses. I put it in the washing machine and it lasts about 100 classes before the backing gets thin and starts to stick to itself and the edges curl up. Time for another. Also, getting more expensive and harder to find

Antislip, Soft, Easy to carry/wash difficult to dry.
Just the right amount if antislip, pretty heavy due to the rubber but thats needed to achieve the grip texture and the soft top texture. No need to wear special socks/gloves when using this, I don’t need to wet it either. I’m 175cm tall & 69kg and it works great for me.When folded, it behaves like velvet cloth so its not easy to damage the rubber side (i keep the rubber side inwards)I wash it in the washing machine haha!! it shows wrinkles after wash that go away after drying. Needs to be dried with the rubber side out (in shade) and then the soft side out (in shade/air con) unless you have space to hang it full spread. this is the best of the lot and check for discounts on pinks and purples, haven’t seen discounts on other colours.

There was a strong smell of rubber and the surface got worn out after a few washes. The rubber side turned really sticky and started cracking with fewer than 20 times of use. Won’t recommend it.

After studying all the reviews available, I chose to try two mats (one with beads and this one). The one with beads doesn’t suit me as the beads bother my hands but this one is superb. The hotter and sweatier you get, the better it works. I actually spray a little water on the hand area before starting vinyasa so I get the grip immediately. I wouldn’t use it on its own as it is so thin but on top of my regular old yoga mat, it is fine. There are now 3 of us in my yoga class with this mat and we are all pleased with it.
