Excellent Volkswagen Beetle Car Cover
This car cover is excellent. I looked at many car covers. Most were flimsy and cheap with no waterproofing. This one repels most of the water. I love the wheel clips and the metal underwire. Fits my 2017Volkswagen Beetle hatchback perfectly. I have two recommendations for anyone purchasing this car cover. Never put the car cover on while your car is wet. The car cover adheres to your car and makes it extremely difficult to put on. I also found that if you remove your car cover rolling it from front to back makes it much easier to put it back on. My friend brought one of the cheap covers. Itâs as thin as a sheet of paper, isnât waterproof at all and only has elastic straps with no clips and a elastic under wire. You get what you pay for! My car cover has held up through high winds, snow , sleet with no problems. Donât buy a cheap car cover, this one is the best!

Piece of junk
We bought the cover in February of 2022 and installed mid March. Just got to the car after being stored for 7 months in Hawaii and found the cover completely torn and laying on the ground around the car. The picture is after we pulled it off and weâre getting ready to throw away. If you notice the original dark black color is now a faded gray. The cover also had fine cracked lines like it was suffering sun poisoning.The vehicle is stored in a secure area so there is no risk of vandalism.Very disappointed.

Faded and ripped after 4 months, absolute garbage
Not worth it at all. Faded within a week which would be fine if it lasts but it doesnt. After 4 months its so deteriorated that its ripping apart. You can see its not even a puncture in the pics its following thread patter and just falling apart.Leaves a lot of white fluff all over the convertible top. The ties that tie to the wheels also started falling apart at around the 3 month mark.Only for very short term use and even then the fuzzies are super annoying.

Nice cover, but not a perfect fit
This was bought for my 1967 vw bug. It fits pretty well, but obviously it’s a cover trying to work for many different years of cars. I don’t have a mirror on the passenger side so that is off. Also the mirror part is way to big for my mirror and does not fit at the right spot. The zipper for the drivers side door is about in the middle of the door and does not unzip far enough up. Directions are in another language for the lock, but it’s easy to figure out. Nothing really shows how the wire hooks up to the lower area that the lock would work with. What makes this work is that each end has stretch ends that hug around each of my bumpers. That is what really holds it down and on the car. I’m sure the water resistance, weatherproof and durability all seam to be fine.______________________________________________Update 6/27/22So about a week ago we had some rain. I wanted to adjust the car cover so I barely pulled on it and it made a rip about 6″ long. I really didn’t pull on it very hard at all, but it was stuck to the car because of the rain so a little pressure caused it to rip. I was going to tape it with duck tape, but forgot. A week goes by and we had a windy day and then the rip continued as you can see in the last photos. I have duck taped it now and hope it works for a short while til I find a new one. Bummer it didn’t last very long.

Good fit and has held up!
I had to move my convertible 2013 bug out of the garage temporarily for some storage room. I did t want the car out in the weather. I got this cover and it has worked out wonderfully! It fits well with the right shape and the reflective strips are a nice touch. There is a zipper on the driver side, so you can get in and out of the car without having to remove the whole cover. When the wind picks up it shifts a bit but nothing worth worrying about. The tie downs are not ideal but with some trial and error I figured out a way to tie it off to the wheel spokes. All in all a good purchase and way cheaper than having to replace a convertible roof!
