Gaolinci European Palace Series Lace Embossed Ceramic Dinner Plate (Set of 4)

Nice plates
The plates look like their picture. They are ceramic, white, with a shiny glaze, a raised pattern and a scalloped edge–quite pretty. They are a little heavy, but not too bad. I only needed two, so I wish they were sold in a smaller set, but now I have a spare set in case they break.They arrived quickly. The plates come in a plain cardboard box that has a thick styrofoam inner box with thin sheet of styrofoam between the plates. For shipping, this box was placed in a larger shipping box with paper. They arrived undamaged.The plates are almost 10.5 inches across. I have a fancy tiered stand that these are the perfect size for–and they look spectacular in my holder. I’m looking forward to using them as serving dishes. They would also make good chargers (underplates). I wouldn’t have people eat directly off them because the raised pattern would make it hard to scrape up any sauce, but it might be okay for certain dishes (fruit? bread?)I’m very happy I got them.

Outside has rough/scrathy spots.
These look good, but the quality is not great. One plate had small chip outside. Also, the outside rim has sharp spots.
