Versatile and Bright!
This amazing string of rechargeable lights is very compact and does so many things. The string of LED lights is coiled inside a plastic base, with a small hook on the end to pull them out for use and hang on something. You can also simply use the round base as a multifunctional light. Before doing anything, you’re instructed to fully charge the unit. There’s a switch on the bottom to press for different functions – with or without the string still coiled inside. (You can see them through the somewhat transparent base.) The first press makes the lights come on in white. Second press makes them multi-color and flashing. Third press keeps the multi-color lights on while they gradually dim and brighten. Fourth press makes a very bright white light on the base turn on, while the string lights are also white. The fifth press turns off the string and only shines an extremely bright light from the base. These steps only work if you do them in quick succession. If you linger on one, you’ll have to start over with the sequence. Make sure you have the base turned away when those two bright lights come on; they’ll hut your eyes, but light the night! I’m very excited to use these in the evening on our patio. They’ll be very festive, and allow us to turn off our regular patio lights to enjoy the ambiance of more gentle and colorful lighting. Plus we can simply roll them back into the base with the little handle on the bottom. The only thing I’d change is the location of the switch. It’s on the underside of the base, and I wish it were on the top to avoid lifting it to change the setting. There’s a round silver button on the top side that seems like it should be the switch to press, but it does nothing. Still it’s so much better and versatile than those strings of lights that DON’T wind into a case or change colors, that I can deal with lifting the base to adjust the light settings. I highly recommend this to make stringing and storing lights much easier!

Really nice camping lights
I was a little skeptical about these. The pictures and description were a bit unclear as to what all it can do, and there was no mention of the length of the string lights.Well, the string lights come out 32 feet! I was not expecting that at all. There’s a handle on the underside that is used to reel them back in. If the string lights are reeled in when on, it will simply light up around the outer edge of the puck. The string lights aren’t the brightest, but hey, it’s for camping, so don’t want it too bright anyway. The puck lights are bright, though.If you press the power button within a few seconds, it will toggle in the following manner:string lights as whitestring lights as coloredstring lights fading off and on, coloredboth string lights and bright lights on puckturns off string lights and makes puck lights brighter.turn offIf you wait more than a few seconds between pressing the button, it will simply shut off when you press the button.It has magnets and a hook underneath, which can be used to attach or hang it up. The end of the string lights has a hook.It has a set of LED lights on the bottom/back to indicate the power level. It has a USB-C port for charging (comes with USB-A -> USB-C cable for charging).The only issue I see with these lights is that the power button is on the back, which would be hard to reach if hanging or attached to something with the magnets. Having the button on the side or top would allow easier access.

Exactly what I was looking for!
This is super easy to use and can be strung up and taken down really quickly. The fantastic design allows you to rather easily pull out ~30′ of lighted string. The beginning of the the string has a neat little hook that allows you to hook it around a branch, pole, etc. to help with the hanging process. The base has magnets to help secure that end- I’m not sure if that will help when I’m camping, but it won’t hurt!The first time I pulled out the string it was a little tough, but after I rolled it up and tried again it was very smooth. The string itself is relatively flat with the lights being minor bumps. This is important since it helps with the rolling out.I thought the light it gave off was bright for this type of device when I first turned it on and then I discovered it had different modes (see video). The string lights was definitely enough to read by in concentration, but I imagine on a campsite with the lights extended around the perimeter it would just be a nice ambient lighting. Turn on the RGB to add some color. And then there are two bright light modes for the base that could make this a flashlight- more than enough to read by.The device is supposed to be waterproof, but I’m not planning to test that. It does look like it seals up well. In fact, my only real complaint is that the rubber piece that protects the USB ports is a bit hard to open. Hard to complain when it’s purpose is to keep water out. I’ll take the difficulty if it means it won’t get destroyed with a little rain. I also liked that it came almost fully charged- and that the LEDs let you know the charge level.
