Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don’t like the description, I simply don’t order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly…. that being said:This gets 5 stars – I didn’t even know something like this existed, but now that I have it, I take it everywhere. I like that if your TV or monitor has an HDMI port, you can stream videos from your phone to the screen. It is easy to install / plug-in and is very portable, and connecting to it is super simple. Picture quality is good and this is a good value for the money, especially if you were considering buying a new TV just for this feature. You can stream movies, photos…anything that is on your phone screen – even games. Really a very unique gadget and highly recommended.

Very Nice and Good Color Too
There’s a quirk with some iDevices where when they output to a TV the color is off.I have an iPad mini and I can connect several ways and the color is off using all of them. This device the color is correct.I have no idea the difference. I teach several classes and this is a very convenient thing to keep in my bag at all times in case I need it.Good build quality, connects quickly, works great, minimal lag. It costs a bit more than my wired cable but this is wireless and the color is right so hard to complain.Good Product.

Oddly useful?
While I have not tried it with anything but a iPhone 8 and iPhone X, I found it very odd how this was able to convey a consistent 60fps video wirelessly.I will try this with a Samsung device next once I have a chance, and I will update my review. However, the device only advertises connection with iDevices. The image quality rivals a wired connection somehow, and I will use this within my shop to diagnose devices with broken displays. It is simple to set up as you simply connect to a wifi hotspot created by the dongle. Nothing complicated or arduous. It does need to be powered with a microUSB cable…

Does what it says and does it quickly with no drivers and no drama.
Just got around to trying this out today with the latest iPad 11 and works great! Connection is quick, and the on screen instructions are a “no brainer” I know that most newer TV’s have this feature anyway without a device such as this, but if you happen to need to cast to anything with a HDMI port and a Apple device this is definitely worth looking into. I will have to say so far it does exactly what is says and does it quickly with no fuss and no drivers. A+

Works great though thanks to DRM may not work as expected
First of all- this works as advertised. I was able to connect my iPad and iPhone to s hotel TV HDMI connection, wirelessly, and see my screen. Your reason for wanting a device like this might be similar to mine and include watching streaming services on a larger screen.Enter DRM and the industry âprotectionsâ which make that more or less impossible. Doesnât seem to be an issue with this device- rather the media machine wants to suck you dry financially. Good luck⦠again itâs great for seeing photos, sharing presentations, etc. But streaming services probably wonât work.

Cool Piece of Tech that Simply Works
I love it when something just works right out of the gate. No downloading patches, no huge learning curve. Just simply plug and play. Okay, there was a few steps but man, they made it so easy.The instructions were literally a folded up piece of paper smaller than a napkin. I thought, oh boy this is going to be a hassle. But once I plugged it in I realized why the instructions were so small. As soon as I plugged it into my TV I was greeted by a graphic with simple steps on screen. I literally found it in my Wifi list, connected to it with the given passcode, Mirrored from my iPhone, and then BAHM I was mirroring. There is virtually no lag and the picture was excellent HD as far as I can tell.There’s another option to connect that they call “upgrade”, I don’t exactly know what that entails because they don’t explain it, I guess you get a better picture, and maybe less lag (which I don’t detect any as is). The instructions state that to upgrade the connection you must hold the button on the unit down for a few seconds and follow the prompts. I did it and two choices were presented, either 1) scan the QR code and then type in the passcode or 2) type in the IP address they provide and apparently you will connect with a stronger “upgraded” connection. But when I scanned the QR code it opened up my browser the given IP address and it was a page with a bunch of chinese writing. I’m sure it would’ve been fine to connect but I chickened out. And since the “non-upgraded” connection was working so well I felt I wasn’t losing out on anything.Anyhow, this thing is awesome. From what I can tell it works better than casting directly to my TV from my iPhone which always results in laggy, jittery video with intermittent audio issues. Hope this review was helpful!

Perfect casting device!
Tested this and really enjoyed this device. I have many devices that are not “smart” with airplay or casting capabilities. This gave me the opportunity to expand my visual devices for work or play. The range on this was acceptable the lag was minimal. The picture, video and audio quality is great and setup and use was very easy! It worked as expected and I was pleased to have a device like this! at the current price point its a good deal!
