Nice seat
This was a nice start, but it didn’t meet our needs in the end. There was a little back and forth with the return, but ultimately the seller took care of us. Thank you!

Light car seat, snaps in/out easily of the base, easy fastening. Handle a bit cumbersome.
My point of comparison for infant car seats is the Chicco KeyFit30, which I feel is a fairly well-known and well-tested car seat. This car seat is actually quite similar and feels high quality.Car Seat 5/5:The car seat itself is great. The cushioning is plentiful, especially if you are using the infant insert. This is what you’d find in a more premium car seat, as the cheaper car seats tend to have very thin cushions. The seat itself has easy-to-use straps that loosen/tightening like most car seats. It’s also very lightweight (without the base) and easy to carry. While it feels premium, there are some things that can be better. The handle has some wiggle in the top position, which the KeyFit30 did not. And the handle and sunshade get in the way of each other.Sunshade 4/5:For the most part, it’s actually quite good. It pulls forward quite a bit, giving your infant full coverage. This is more than the KeyFit offers. However, deploying it causes some clicking sounds, which is not great if you are trying not to wake up the baby.Base 4.5/5:The base itself is easy to adjust, has an attached anti-rebound bar (some KeyFit version have one). It comes with LATCH connects attached to the bottom that are easily deployed. It comes with a bubble level. All of these things are important because one of the most important safety components of a car seat is that they are easy to install. Both the LATCH and seat belt install options are easy to use, especially with the blue seatbelt clamp component. It is rather narrow compared the height once the car seat is in place, which is why some may say it wobbles. But if you fasten the seat belt tightly AND use the top tether, there should be very limited movement.Installation 5/5:As mentioned in the base part, it’s key that the installation portion is simple. This really can’t get much simpler. The base comes with the LATCH connectors, which are excellent. The LATCH connectors are locking and require you to pull the red string to unlock. Compare this to some cheaper J-hook LATCH connectors that don’t lock. If you choose the seatbelt install, it just loops into the blue portion that then clamps down on the seat. No routing of the seatbelt oddly through the seat/base.Comfort 5/5:My daughter is on the higher end of the weight spectrum for this car seat. But she fits and she seems comfortable in the car seat.Docking/Removing 5/5:The car seat snaps into the base easily and reliably. To release it, the lever is on the base (unlike KeyFit, which is on the seat) and the car seat pulls right up. When attached, it feels like a solid unit.Overall, this is an excellent premium car seat. There are some minor issues that don’t affect function and safety.

Safe! Surprisingly Lightweight
I am so glad I got this car seat! I have been in the market for some time, 24 years. (my oldest child is 24, and I still have babies in the house). This car seat is much safer than the others I’ve used in years. It’s sometimes difficult to believe that people can be so innovative. The base of the car seat, where it buckles into your car, seems so firm and sturdy. It seems more supportive than other car seats without the high back. These seats have always been a pain to install, especially where they don’t wiggle or move around. This base snuggly fits into the car better and allows multiple places to tether it into the frame. This works so much better than a belt buckle (tethers are not new). The car seat is easy to snap and remove from the base. The seat can also be used without the base for convenience, emergencies, or whatnot. The car seat itself is lightweight. My grandson looks pretty comfortable in it. These are always awkward to carry, but improvements could be made to the handle to make it easier. It has inserts for newborns to fit snuggly (Not pictured in the listing). This car seat also fits easily into my existing strollers and shopping carts. I plan to use this seat with many more grandchildren! Its innovative design and safety improvements are worth the extra cost.

Premium cushion on the car seat itself that is comfortable for your baby

Good choice.
I ordered this Diono LiteClik30 XT SafePlus Infant Carrier Car Seat and Base as a shower gift. It seems surprisingly large, but I suppose safety dictates that. I was fearful that, if I completely took it out and unwrapped it I might not be able to get it back into the box, so I photographed what it looks like on arrival. I chose this model for rear-facing aspect and that it is for a newborn, yet can be used for a longer time, on up to 30 pounds. I really liked all the safety features built into it. The two-stage feature of the carrier, allowing it to be easily attached to the installed base or used separately with a seatbelt in another vehicle makes it versatile., Rear-Facing for Infants 4-30lbs, SafePlus Engineering, with Infant Insert, UPF 50+ Sunshade (Black Storm)

what a super safe car seat this is
i have never seen a car seat with a steel reinforced frame that goes up the back of the seat. Great when rear facing especially. Car seat is perfect for infants with the inside lining is so nice and thick and looks so comfy. it’s the nicest car seat I’ve seen when we were selecting one for our newest little one. I was thrilled with this one. The safety features and the inside comfort of the seat itself is a real pleasure to use.

Love the base
Having a base installed in your main vehicle is definitely the way to go. It’s a lot easier to take in and out but you still have the ability to install just the carrier in another vehicle. Really a win-win. Looks and feels like a quality car seat.

It’s very tippy… I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it.. so I will have no choice but to use it for now
