odd cut/fit & $$$â¦
This is a very thin, stretchy undershirt for folks who need â and can afford â one just to sit overdressed in meetings all day. The body fit is pretty slim but not tight on 5â11â 170lb M. The tail is long enough to tuck in securely. It did not shrink in my ordinary washing routine. Thatâs about the good news.The collar is kind of narrow and barely stretches to get over my head â after one washing, the collar tape is all saggy and out of shape. All seams inside are twice the width of regular cotton t-shirts (which never come apart). Labels are sewn in â so scratchy neck or very careful stitch-picking to remove cutting the collar loose with two rows of overlapping 13 stitches per inch⦠The arms are cut funny, so I run out of free movement before raising my elbows to shoulder-height. I am wearing an ordinary t-shirt with arms about 6â long at the shoulder and underarm seams about 4â in size L â this shirt has sleeves over 7â long with underarm seams no more than 3â. The shoulder bind pretty much takes the utility of this shirt off my list for summer activity. The price is out of my range for filling a dresser drawer.

Ok, but overpriced
This is a fairly standard black t-shirt, and I can’t imagine why anyone would pay $38 for it. It’s merely average at best. I am an XL in pretty much every men’s shirt size, and unlike some other reviewers, I found that it was fairly true to size as it fit me like pretty much every other XL tee. Great. But, although it fit size-wise, there is something awkward about the way it fits that I can’t pinpoint, but I don’t like. The material itself is thinner than I would have expected, and just feels cheap overall. I did wash it a couple of times and it has held up well enough, but hard to say how it would do long-term. If this was half of its current price or less, it might be OK, but I can’t recommend it at its current price.

Very soft, nice drape, weak collar, too expensive
The material, pima cotton quality is very good on this shirt. It’s got a very soft, smooth texture. This is a pretty thin, lightweight shirt. This gives it a good drape, and is good for warmer weather.On the flip side, I was very disappointed with the collar. It’s very thin and floppy, easily gets wrinkled and bunched up. I like my collars to stay neat and hold shape, this one’s does not. I can’t justify the high price for this item. Personally think stuff from Uniqlo is better for the price.

Cut and fabric nicer than your average tee
This tee is true to size, and the cut isn’t super slim but it’s definitely not boxy like a regular tee. It hangs well and gives a good looking, clean line when worn. The lightweight fabric is soft and almost silky feeling, with the superior breathability that comes from pure cotton. The one sticking point is the price — at $38 as of this writing it’s a bit steep, but if you’re looking for an elevated tee and you love the feel of this one, it’s a great option both for layering and on its own.
