Customers find the car seat to be well-built, comfortable, and safe, with a great appearance. The size receives mixed feedback – while it fits well within the UPPAbaby brand, some customers note it’s quite large for vehicles like the Honda Accord. Installation experiences are mixed, with some finding it easy to install while others report it’s awkward to set up. The weight is also a concern, with customers describing it as heavy and bulky.

Safe and Sturdy
It was time to upgrade our sons car seat as heâs outgrown his other one and we looked at many different options before deciding this was best. First, we trust uppababy brand. We have the infant car seat with the stroller and it was secure, safe, and easy to install. We loved our experience with the infant car seat, we figured weâd have a similar experience with the Knox. We love that you have recliner options for comfort and size.Few things to note though. One; your car size. This car seat is a big bigger (which we actually liked as it felt sturdy and safe) but weâve been told it doesnât fit in all cars. Two; it doesnât have a swivel which we also liked as it seemed safer to us personally. If you have concerns on if it will fit in your car, weâve been told customer service can help with those questions. We just ordered it and figured weâd try it first hand. All in all, great experience thus far and weâve had it installed for a few weeks now.

Best carseat ever
We’ve been very happy with this Uppababy carseat model. Use it almost daily and have flown with it as well (using the UPPAbaby luggage for it) and it’s holding up good as new! Our 15 month old is comfortable and loves his car rides.

Be mindful of size
This product was very sturdy and fits within the uppababy brand well that weâve come to love. Unfortunately this was just too large for our conventional family sedan. It was quite large for our Honda accord which made install a hot mess and It blocked the entire rear passenger window due to the high back design so we had to return it so if you have a small vehicle, Iâd look elsewhere but Iâd you have a larger car or big suv. This will work just fine for you

Large but does fit!
I rarely write reviews but I decided on this car seat because we loved our uppababy Mesa V2 so much. I have a relatively small car (Honda Fit) and many of the reviews on this car seat made me concerned it would not fit, with people saying they had issues in smaller cars. Sure itâs a big car seat, but most for babies and toddlers of this size are. It fit in my car just fine. I wonât comment on other functions of the seat since we have only used it a short time, but installation was easy and it fits just fine.

Quality car seat
This car seat is awesome. My son seems super comfortable in it and he will be able to use it for quite some time. It is very heavy and can be difficult to get setup correctly. We had to move it around in our car quite a bit to make sure it was secured correctly. (We have a small car and Iâm not sure how this will vary car to car). Otherwise great seat and price.

Huge!
This thing is huge but it feels safe and is easy to clean. Love it. Only downside is how tall it is so sometimes my kid smacks her head getting it lol

Best On The Market
As always, Uppababyâs products are top of the line. The car seat is easy to install and use, and feels solid, unlike cheaper brands. I am a research fiend when it comes to big buys for my kids and this one did not disappoint.

Wanted to love it
We wanted to love this car seat SO badly. We had to replace our car seat after an accident and love all of uppababyâs strollers and thought, hey, if insurance is covering it letâs try a more expensive car seat!A few thoughts:1. This thing is HEAVY DUTY. I was really excited and it wasnât too difficult to install or take apart. Lots of zippers and velcro which I found easier than the hooks we usually have (our other car seat is a Graco extend2fit and will be switching back to it).2) itâs a beautiful car seat, if thatâs something important to you.3) love that it tells you if the lapbelt is tight enough. Probably my favorite feature.4) REALLY high up! Great for my husbandâs model y, but not so great for my Corolla. I couldnât get this thing in my car if I tried.5) comfy for SHORT trips (less than an hour)Now for the biggest con:My son (4) is used to his car seat. We travel often, we frequently drive for 4-5 hours at a time, sometimes more, and he has never ever complained about being uncomfortable. We even got an inflatable footrest for this car seat just in case since heâs used to his graco having one. 1 hour into sleeping in his car seat he woke up SCREAMING that he was uncomfortable and couldnât sleep. This happened every hour until we got to our destination. I thought it was a fluke and on the way home, I made sure to have him stretch every 2 hours- nope. Same thing happened. We had to stop and hold him until he calmed down.My kid is super easy going and never ever complains about stuff like that. Very disappointed in this car seat and will be returning ASAP!
