High quality product
I’m an avid backpacker and adventure motorcyclist. I bought this tent to replace a well worn North Face. I’ve owned several high-end tents – MSR Hubba, TNF, Sierra Designs, Durston and the better REI. While this is not my backpacking tent (Durston X Mid 1P), it is now my motorcycle tent.I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tent. It is nylon, not polyester, which is the preferred material for all high-end tents. The seems are double stitched and taped. The PU coating and silicone seem comparable to any of today’s tents although older tents had thicker PU, mainly because they didn’t use silicone in combination then. No rain proof data as I live in the dry SW but I don’t see anything obvious in the coating or seams. Setup was typical of most side entry aluminum pole tents. The mesh is very rugged, seems a little thicker than a typical ultralight, visibility was perhaps a little less than a lighter, sheer mesh on some other tents but not significant. One thing I found unnecessary was the floor extensions for each vestibule; I plan to just cut them off for my application. It won’t compromise tent integrity in any way. All hardware is high quality and well designed, good quality zippers, relective guy lines, roll top stuff sack with compression, 7000 aluminum alloy poles. The 10 stakes are nearly identical to MSR ground hog stakes- red anodized aluminum. I’m 5’10 and had plenty of room, width is actually 1.5 persons, possibly 2p but it would be tight. Weight is as advertised, my kitchen scale had it a few oz less. People over 6ft might find it a little too short. All in all this is a very nice tent even for a backpacker who does doesn’t mind 3.7lbs., can’t beat the price for what you get. I highly recommend.

GREAT VALUE!!
I have used this tent for backpacking about 6 times and is a great value. It weighs less than some more expensive counterparts and held up to rain and wind on my last outing. I look forward to using on all my trips this year.

light, high quality, full feature really reasonable price
I have been looking for a light backpacking, freestanding good waterproof tent for a long while, so far this is THE BEST under $100. The design is roomy can sit up, waterproof, windproof, high quality zippers and holder, easy to setup (the flyer only goes one direction or else it won’t match up with attached extra space floor – should be marked). The flyer hooks onto the crossbar a bit tight, but the nylon flyer can be stretched better than polyester. I did not find a repair kit and added my own tyver flooring. It was suppose to be for my son, but I am keeping it for myself! It is a GREAT, ALMOST perfect tent for this price!

No footprint included 🙁
This would be 5 stars if the tent had included a footprint. I was able to purchase one on the side, but it doesn’t quite fit right and added cost. I’ve seen other tents at this price point that come with a properly sized one. All in all it is a great lightweight tent. It sets up and tears down very easily. I love the double vestibule and double access as well as the extended tent floor into the vestibule. When needed The rain fly secures very snugly and securely. This tent is also only water resistant, if you are planning a back country hike, I highly recommend an additional waterproofing treatment, which again adds additional cost. Overall a great buy for the price if you’re willing to spend extra on additional items.

Outstanding Value and Performance â A True Backpacking Gem!
After months of anticipation due to weather delays, I finally had the chance to take this tent into the field, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The build quality is exceptional for the price point. It’s clear that thoughtful design went into everything, from the durable, smooth zippers to the sturdy aluminum poles and reinforced seams. Setup is quick and intuitiveâjust what you want when arriving at camp late or in less-than-ideal conditions.Despite being lightweight, the tent feels solid in wind and held up beautifully in somewhat wet conditions. There’s plenty ample space for one person with gear, and it even works for two, though itâs cozier. Ventilation and mesh coverage are great, and I especially appreciate the included guy lines and stakesâno need to make extra purchases. For backpackers, motorcyclists, or anyone needing a compact but capable 3- to 4-season tent, this is a phenomenal choice that punches far above its weight. Just an incredible product all around.
