Well-made, Beautiful Pan
This is a beautiful and well-made pan. Iâm eliminating all inherited aluminum cookware, do NOT want coated surfaces of any sort, so I love the stainless steel. I needed something to go from stovetop to oven, and I just donât trust myself with my big cast iron pan anymore. That said, this isnât lightweight – it has considerable heft to it and holds a lot as well. Itâs helpful to bear in mind the total weight of a full pan. Iâm glad I opted for the sauté versus fry pan, as I really needed that extra depth. I would never manage it without the helper handle, which is substantial and easy to grip. The hollow handle does get hot even on the stovetop, so I find it best to treat it like cast iron from that respect. I love cooking with it and while I havenât yet done it, I can see I could easily roast a chicken in this pan. Cleans up easily and is nice enough to leave on the stovetop, which is a good thing because it takes up a lot of cabinet space!

You’ll eat too much using this prduct
Excellent product. High sides keep soupy dishes inside. One downside is that I’m getting fat from all the wonderful meals we cook in it.

Seems to heat evenly
If you use the pan correctly, it is nonstick and easy to clean

Review update!
After jumping the gun by submitting a disgruntled review, I contacted Cuisinart, who requested I send them a photo of the broken product…..within 3 days, they notified me that a replacement lid was on the way to me! That’s good service, so I would recommend this company, but will not be using the lid in the oven.

Great pan
I ordered this because I wanted to try stainless steel instead of non-stick plus I wanted a pan with higher sides than normal saute pans. I use this pan a lot and very much like cooking/easy cleaning with stainless steel. The pan gets very heavy to lift after cooking to dish out the contents, but you quickly get used to using the second handle (or having hubby lift it!).

Nice Saute Pan
I like this pan. I do a lot of my cooking in this pan now. I like I can cook pasta in it without having to break spaghetti to make it fit or have to boil a large pot of water when I just cook for myself.I was wondering how much actual food this pan could hold before I bought it. So in the pic I did an 8oz package of Zatarain’s dirty rice, 1.08 lb of ground beef, half an onion, 2 celery stalks, 1 bell pepper, and was able to pour 2 1/4 cups of water. In my opinion, a single person wouldn’t need anything larger than this, even if you plan on left-overs for future meals.

Pan arrived and the dimensions are totally off. After some head-scratching it turned out the measurements given were not for the diameter of the pan itself but includes both the handle on the side of the pan for width and the handle on the lid for height. The result is a pan much much smaller than advertised. Material of the pan is also poor quality and welding is sloppy. Buyer beware. Will be returning this. Waste of time and money since the product arrived without an external box and we will most likely have to purchase a box at the post office.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I only use the pan one time and the surface was broken like the one showed in the picture. It does not worth the price! Feel really disappointed! The quality of this product is not worth one star!

Good weight, heats evenly, the top will form a vacuum to lock in moisture. A very good pan.
