Best earbuds ever
So I love this things, I have chronic Tinnitus and work outside with tools often. I plug theses in, find a podcast or audio book an these Elgin headphones allow me to listen IN SILENCE. Often I’ll wear one with no music at all (on my problem side).The battery life is forever and it’s a USB-C charging port.I seriously have a box full of sub-par or dead battery ear buds like beat ( last a year MAX) and air type and these are hands down the best buds I’ve ever had. They work really well. I couldn’t even hear my gas lawnmower. The magnet in the earpieces was a good idea and keeps them secure when not listening. I work at Amazon and hope they convert these models into safety ones, so I can wear something similar at work as well.

These hearing protection earphones have been one of the best purchases Iâve made for my job. The noise reduction is outstanding, they truly block out loud sounds and let me focus without distractions or ear discomfort.What really surprised me was the audio quality. Fantastic noise control!
I think first and foremost these are for hearing protection, and they do a fantastic job at this. I used them while on my older and very noisy John Deere mower. I find the 31 DB sound reduction to be accurate and better than I get with earmuff style hearing protection. It was very comfortable with the mower running for an hour or so.The added bonus of the really good sound dampening means the music I was listening to through these did not have to be turned up super loud to hear.These connected easily to my iPhone and had decent sound quality. You are not going to buy this type of headphone “to listen to music” but the added bonus of having that option is great and the sound is really pretty good!I only use the provided foam ear tips and not the rubber ones. I find them to be very comfortable and can wear them for a couple hours at a time without fatigue. As far as battery life, I am not sure if the rating is exact, but I have not charged them in over a week with some fairly extended use. So impressive I’d say.Keep in mind, these are not pass through type, so your ability to hear ambient noise is almost gone, but for the price these are great. They work well at the gun range as too!The one reason I removed a star was the cord that goes from the ear buds to the collar piece is a bit annoying. If I try and pin the wire to my collar with the included collar clips to tame it, it tugs on my collar when I turn my head. Without the collar clips the wire is kind of crazy and a little irritating. Probably just me, but I still like them. I also like the fact that I can pop one or both ear plugs out to carry on a conversation and just let the ear bud dangle. When I’m done talking it’s right there to put back in. No trying to figure out where I put them.Well worth the price.
