This stuff is awesome!
Wow, I absolutely love this stuff! I just found out about micellar water recently, but hadn’t tried any because I only saw the higher-end brands and they were just too much. The price on this is incredible for how much you are getting — it’s a big bottle. And this stuff works so well. I typically take two cotton pads — I find the pads work better than cotton balls because they have more area — and soak them with the micellar water. The bottle has a flip top and a small opening so it’s easy to just squirt some on the pads. And since nothing ever touches that part of the bottle, you know that it will always stay clean and sanitized, as opposed to bottles where you have to tip them onto the pads to get the product out. Once the pads are wet, I hold them over my eyes for about 30 seconds. I gently press them into my eyes so that it can soak off the mascara. This stuff basically dissolves your makeup and then you can just gently wipe it away. After about 30 seconds, most of my eye makeup will gently wipe off. If I do heavier makeup, I leave it on a bit longer. It’s actually really relaxing, kind of like your own mini spa at the end of the day. It’s also great if you wear false lashes because after soaking my eyes for 30 seconds, the lashes come off much easier. After my eyes are done, I use the other side of each cotton pad to wipe away the makeup on the rest of my face. If my makeup was particularly heavy that day, I sometimes use a third cotton pad just to be sure I got everything. The great thing about this product is that you can use just one cleanser for your entire face, instead of a different one for your eyes. Also, it’s not oily so you don’t have to rinse it off afterward. I haven’t felt any stinging or burning and my skin is really sensitive. I typically use the Neutrogena face wipes and even though I love them, I sometimes have to rinse after using them because it can sting a bit. I’ve also tried using both and after using the wipes, I’ll soak a cotton pad with the micellar water and sure enough, it picks up stuff that the wipes left behind. So, this works well as a stand-alone makeup remover, or as a final step to get what your other remover/cleanser missed. But lately, I’ve just been using this because it’s so simple and I like using just one product. If you are looking to simplify your routine, you should give this a try. It’s gentle and it works amazingly well. I was pretty surprised that a “water” could take off all my makeup — waterproof, oil-based, everything. And you can’t beat the price. I’ve been using it for about a month and I’ve used less than 20% of the bottle, so it will end up being around $1.40 per month to use this product. That’s a serious bargain.

Best and most authentic micellar water option in the U.S.
__Review of the product__I tried several commercially available brands of micellar water (L’Oreal – red and blue caps, Neutrogena, Garnier) after reading about this no-rinse cleanser that does not strip your skin’s natural moisture balance. My face is combination and slightly sensitive; I tend to dry very easily with face cleansers, but oils are too heavy. I look for a cleanser to simply clean up the day’s sweat and dust. I find that micellar water does work effectively (as described) as a non-odorous and balancing daily cleanser. The issue here in the U.S. is that the companies selling micellar water products are *adding* additional elements to it, so you’re buying “micellar water cleansers” or “micellar water with XYZ” instead of plain and simple micellar water complex. After trying the four readily available products from my local CVS, I found that this L’OREAL WITH THE RED CAP is the cleanest in terms of least-extra-things-added. My experience with the other cleansers is that they do require rinsing, either because they leave behind some kind of filmy residue or because they have an additional element that causes a stinging reaction near my lips or eyes.__Review of the Seller__My bottles came as described, intact, and wrapped in a plastic seal. Good experience and price. Will probably buy from here again. In short, if you want to try micellar water and see what the fuss is about, and you are in the U.S. where we don’t have pharmacies/apothecaries in the European sense, try this one.

Works better than high priced department store brands.
I have been using this product for a couple of years now. I use the 8 hour or 16 hour lipstick and most cleansers do not remove it easily. This product works so well. With only one quick pass over my lips, it all comes off. I used to use Clinique but the price was ridiculous for small amounts. I highly recommend this for lipstick and eye makeup removal. Also, feels great on the skin and has a light, pleasant fragrance.

Does the job well for second cleanse
This is comparable to Garnier micellar which I also like. Since itâs not too layers that you shake up like Garnier blue cap, it doesnât feel as softening but itâs also less oily (which is not really oily but slightly emollient) which could be good or bad depending on your skin. This LâOréal micellar is good in that you donât have to shake every time and it doesnât leave a noticeable film. I use 2 Almaty oily waterproof eye remover pads to remove eye liner, eye makeup and face makeup. Then use micellar on cotton pad to remove oily mess, then wash with Aveda cream cleanser. So micellar brand is not that critical if it can remove oily film. The space saving square bottle is a plus. I like the dry skin version but my daughter claims the oily skin choice wipes off her mascara better which seems counterintuitive.
