nice to have everything in one kit
I wanted a kit that had everything I needed. We had to have some of our wood fence replaced. I bought 3 of these kits so 3 of us could be working at the same time to get the paint job done quicker. I like that there were extra rollers and the trays have liners. My only complaint is that the nap length didn’t hold much paint. I had to re-load paint more often than something that might have had a longer nap. May have been user-error, but when working on corners, I noticed it didn’t take much for the end of the roller to get chewed up – I was really happy to have some extras so I could switch it out.

I recently tackled a room painting project with this kit and it made the job so much easier. The 6-inch rollers were perfect for getting into tighter spaces around windows and doors, while still covering enough area to make good progress. The foam rollers gave a surprisingly smooth finish, even on my slightly textured walls. I particularly appreciated the included paint tray liners. They made clean-up a breeze and saved me from scrubbing out the tray. While it took a bit longer than using larger rollers, the extra control was worth it for achieving a professional-looking result in my home office makeover.

Great kit
This is a great kit for a small paint roller. It has everything you need to get started, and everything works well. The foam rollers don’t hold a lot of paint, but make a super smooth finish.

I used this with oil-based stain
This size roller works best for small jobs. I used Ready Seal Oil Based Stain to do my front porch, about 5’x7′ with 4 steps. The foam roller never disintegrated. Nor did it work its way off the roller frame, like I’ve had a lot of cheap rollers do. Easy to clean up with the pan liners. A 6″ roller is best suited for small jobs, I sure wouldn’t use this to paint a room.
