Lightweight sleeping bag for a Scout and/or Mom. Or DIY Comforter
For $26 list and actual $16 cost after 40% coupon, what’s not to like?Bag arrived shrink wrapped and compressed. Comes with cloth drawstring bag with barrel closure retainer. Zipper is ‘2 handled’ allowing zipping from either inside or outsideCare tag says washable only in non-agitator machine. Also to air out 48hrs before use. Zipped open and laid out flat to airNotice dimensions: 31.5 x86″. Laid open flat 63″ x 86″. There are microfiber Queen Duvet cover sets here on Amazon for $15. The main cover in these is 90 x 90. So… I am planning on ‘hemming” one of these covers vertically 12 ” or so inside of each edge on my sewing machine, stopping and back-stiching just before the zipper – now I have a 66″ x 90″ center pocket Duvet cover with two ‘wings’ which are left unstuffed.Open this bag up – fully unzipper. Stuff inside headfirst. I now have a nice 63 x 86 Duvet for my 11yo Scout Grandson’s Guest Full bed, plus a Camp sleeping bag when he goes off to Camp in July.Tip: Place on bed with sleeping bag inside facing down. Better moisture absorption. Hood bulge gives orientation. We shall see how this works out over the Summer..YMMV of course. The washable duvet cover should reduce the need to wash the bag itself – as there is a good possibility of the filling ‘clumping’ when washed. So for $15 + $16, a nice, soft, cozy but lightweight Duvet/Comforter for Grandson – vs. typical Full Comforter at about $50.5 starsLightweight sleeping bag for a Scout and/or Mom. Or DIY Comforter.

It’s an inexpensive 3.8 pound polyester-skin cotton-fill 59°F to 77°F blanket for casual sleepovers.
This inexpensive SyndeRay sleeping bag is a rectangular, lightweight, and thin bag best suited for indoor sleepovers and mild-weather car or beach camping, comfortably fitting taller individuals and featuring a nearly flat-opening zipper and a hood. I ordered this $26 SyndeRay sleeping bag (Amazon ASIN B0DTDWPFKG, UPC 762949693438) for my kid who does a lot of sleepovers for her friends.I measured the bag out of the box packed by the factory at about 15 inches long by about 10 inches wide by about 6 inches thick, which is about 900 cubic inches or about 14-3/4 liters or about 15-1/2 quarts or almost 4 gallons of volume. Notice poignantly that this bag was not packed as a cylinder like most sleeping bags are packed. That’s indicative of its intended use. This is not a serious sleeping bag for all-weather hiking, nor is it trying to be one. It’s less than a tenth of the price of backpacking sleeping bags. Yet, you can backpack with this bag, albeit in reasonably mild weather conditions. It weighed 3.8 pounds on my kitchen scale, which is respectable for such an inexpensive sleeping bag. At about 88 inches long and about 33 inches wide, this bag should fit a six-foot-four-inch tall person with a foot to spare, although the reality of sleeping bags is you always lose a foot while sleeping. Speaking of feet, at the foot end of this bag, it doesn’t taper like many cocoon style sleeping bags do. This one is rectangular, so there’s plenty of room at both ends. But more to the point, this sleeping bag is rather thin, so it’s not for cold weather. Most likely, it’s best used for mild car and beach camping during the summer in dry weather, and probably even more to its use model, for sleepovers at people’s homes where you bring your own sleeping bag. For that, this bag is nearly perfect. I like that it zippers almost completely open such that it can almost lay flat, and it has a drawstring at the top so you can close it nicely around your shoulders for a snug fit.The bag has a rather sizeable hooded foyer at the top so that you can have your head and shoulders stick out and still be on top of the bag. You enter by unzipping the side SBS zipper a few feet, where the zipper, like most in this price range, tends to get stuck if you unzip quickly. Then you slide into the half-open sleeping bag and zip it back up from the inside with the double-sided zipper and close the Velcro flap at the top. (The other zipper is only single sided.) There’s even a small pocket inside, which is a nice touch.Interestingly when you pack it up, you use the straps sewn into the outside of the bag to cinch it tight. That’s a neat trick I haven’t seen in most cylindrical sleeping bag carrying pouches, although it’s not waterproof, but then given the fill material is 100% cotton and the outer is 100% polyester, nothing about this bag is for wet or cold camping, so that’s fine. The chart in the Amazon listing says it’s for 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F) temperatures, which is a fair assessment. Kudos to the seller for honesty. The label doesn’t say much other than not to use it in an agitation top-loading washer, and not to bleach or tumble dry and that it’s not suitable for extreme temperature use.Overall, it’s not for heavy duty camping but at this price, it’s a great sleepover bag for kids and for light-duty beach and car camping needs. For more information, please see the included detailed photos. In explaining all of this, I hope this review helps you make a more informed decision.

Spacious Summer Sleeping Bag That Packs Small
I have had this bag for nine days and it has already survived a lakeside weekend and a living room sleepover. At six foot one I still have room to stretch, and the rectangular shape lets me roll onto my side without feeling boxed in. Nighttime lows dipped to about sixty two degrees and I stayed comfortable in a light tee shirt with the hood lightly cinched. The lining feels like a soft sheet and any factory smell vanished after an hour of airing out.Packing is just as easy. I skip careful rolling, stuff the bag into its compression sack, tighten the straps, and it shrinks to a bundle that fits in my day pack. The zipper glides from both directions without snagging, and the small inner pocket keeps my phone off the floor. After a gentle cycle wash it dried quickly on the line and fluffed right back up.At a little over three pounds it is not built for winter expeditions, but for car trips, backyard overnights, and festival camping it delivers comfort, space, and convenience that feel far above its price.

nice sleeping bag
This is a lightweight sleeping bag. Nothing for the arctic or sub freezing temps. It’s more for fall/autumn sort of temperatures. The fill level isn’t very high but it’s good for 50-60degree nights I’d say. It’s good size for middle school kids and it’s waterproof. If you get moisture in your tent, you can just dry it outside easily and it dries fairly quickly. It’s a good cheap sleeping bag that will hold up nicely to family vacations

Zippers work smoothly
This sleeping bag works well for me at 5’7″ and 250 lbs. I used it just to keep the chill off while camping in the mountains. It can get a little chilly overnight in the Catskill and Pocono Mountain regions. The zippers functioned well and only got stuck if a label got in the way. I recommend this sleeping bag for early spring and late fall.

This is a lightweight, compact sleeping bag for summer use. It’s quite thin, so I would want to use it on top of a sleeping pad or mattress, but it does pack up nice and small. The included stuff sack includes compression straps in both the width and height directions, and there’s a drawstring closure as well. I do wish the straps had a click-release instead of just tying into a buckle, but it works well. The sleeping bag has all the nice features you want. There are zippers on both ends of the bag (one at the foot, one at the head), though only the head zipper is double-sided so you can pull from the inside of the bag. There’s a velcro tab at the top to keep the zipper from being pulled down accidentally. There’s a large pillow/head area that can cinch around your head for kind of a mummy bag effect. There’s even a little pocket where you could keep your glasses or phone or wallet, closed by a velcro tab. The bag can be fully opened up to act as a blanket or comforter. The dimensions are good, at a stated 31″ wide and 86″ tall, which suits my 6’3″ frame nicely. I can curl up right inside and have my entire head covered, an essential on a buggy night.I like to have multiple sleeping bags, a thicker one for cooler weather and a compact lightweight one for warmer weather (and it can be layered if needed). This is going to work well as my warm weather bag.

I picked this up for drive to camping due to the size and weight of it. This wouldn’t make a good backpacking sleeping bag due to the size but that means when you go camping with a vehicle, you might as well be comfortable. This is a very fluffy and warm looking sleeping bag. It’s plenty big for myself at 5’9 and it’s very cozy. This feels super warm for summer and early fall camping but I’d be curious as to hold it holds up to colder nights given the extra size of it. I’d just bring an extra water bottle, boil water and shove it in there. This thing comes with its own compression sack which in itself is worth it as those tend to cost $25 on their own. Overall, I think this is a great purchase for summer and fall camping but I’m a bit weary to bring it out on colder nights. Recommended.

I recently ordered the Synderay Sleeping Bag for a weekend camping trip, and it exceeded my expectations. Measuring 87 inches long and 31.5 inches wide, it provided ample space, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep without feeling constricted. Despite its generous size, it weighs only 3.5 pounds and comes with a handy compression packing bag, making it easy to carry on hikes or backpacking adventures. The outer fabric is water-repellent, which came in handy during a light drizzle, and the inner lining is incredibly soft, adding to the overall comfort. One of the standout features is the high-quality SBS zippers; they glide smoothly and didn’t snag once during my trip. The sleeping bag kept me warm throughout the night, even when temperatures dropped, thanks to its excellent insulation.Overall, the Synderay Sleeping Bag offers a perfect blend of comfort, durability, and portability. Whether you’re camping in the spring, summer, or autumn, this sleeping bag is a reliable companion.

So obviously this is not a 4-season super-warm bag that you would bring winter camping. Please don’t buy this thinking that it will suffice for sub-zero freezing nights. If you’re expecting frost, then this isn’t the right gear. It’s a lightweight back for a cool summer night. Understanding that, it’s really quite a good bag! I’m a 5’10” person with a substantial spare tire, and this bag was ROOMY inside. I had no problem slipping all the way into it, and the top closed easily above my head. Manufacture seems pretty good. No problems with seams, and the zipper is fine.I was confused at first by the stuff bag because it has straps over and around it. I have never seen a bag like that before. Now I understand that you stuff the sleeping bag in, and then you can tighten those straps and it compresses the whole package even more. Wonderful!I have no complaints about this bag. I slept in it on a cool spring night and it was just what I’d expect from a lightweight bag. I like this one better than the one I’ve got, so I’m going to give my old one away to a niece and keep this one.Plus it’s black, so it’s goth. Goth camp gear. What more could I ask for.

This is a great sleeping bag, and when you factor in the price, you are getting a really great sleeping bag for a great deal. It’s pretty easy to unpack and pack up this sleeping bag, it fits nicely in the included storage bag. Once you tighten up the straps on the storage bag, it compacts to an easily manageable size, so this sleeping bag does not take up a lot of room. Additionally, it is fairly light, so it does not add too much additional weight if you need to carry it in your backpack. This is a very long sleeping bag, it will easily fit kids and the majority of adults. The fact that it can also be opened up as a single-layer blanket is also a plus. I find this sleeping bag on par with my other sleeping bags as far as comfort goes. I really only will be using this sleeping bag for late spring, summer, and early fall camping, so Iâm not too concerned about how well it performs in colder temperatures. The overall quality of this sleeping bag is good, especially when you consider its price point. Iâm very pleased with this sleeping bag.
