Audiomate earplugs are designed to lower hearing-damaging decibels without ever interfering with sound fidelity. They have a true NRR of 27db, effectively protecting hearing while you are at extra-loud concerts, workshops, construction sites, band practices, live ball games, or out riding your motorcycle. The high-fidelity noise attenuating filters reduce volume without distorting clarity. So you can hear and be heard, easily communicate with the ear plugs still on, and pick out all the distinct sounds and frequencies while creating or listening to music. Little unique touches such as the understated pull tabs and the low-profile design make Audiomate earplugs that much easier to use and a joy to wear.
Made using soft silicone earbuds that are carefully molded for an ergonomic fit, these noise-filtering earbuds ensure all-day comfort. Hypoallergenic silicone keeps itching and irritation at bay, and every set comes with both standard and small-sized earbuds that can be easily interchanged to create a comfortable seal for adults and kids. With unique ventilation channels that promote airflow, you can wear the hearing protection buds for prolonged periods without compromising your ear health.
Audiomate earplugs come bundled with an all-metal keychain carrying case for safe storage and hassle-free portability. The rigid metal construction protects the plugs as you’re out and about, the waterproof metal gasket keeps out moisture and dirt, and the extra-strong brass O-ring keeps the case securely attached to your keychain. So now you can protect your hearing in a snap no matter where you are.

Customers say
Customers find these earplugs effective at muffling sound and filtering background noise, with one customer noting they work well at metal concerts. They are easy to use, convenient, and worth the price for hearing protection. The fit and quality receive mixed feedback – while some find the material comfortable, others say they’re too big for their ears, and while some praise the durability of the carrying case, others find it terrible.

Works well for me in the Wood Shop
I bought these to use because of the NRR being the highest available of the type and the fact that I already have hearing loss. With foam type plugs, I have to have someone shout in my ear to hear a conversation. When I first put these in and went into the wood shop, I wasnât sure they were working well. However, once firing up both dust collection systems and the table saw I found the louder the noise, the more attenuation you get, which is the intent of the design.Though muffled I can still hear the radio in the background and with less equipment running I can leave the in, enjoy the radio and talk to anyone who comes into the shop. Perfect for my needsAs far as those who indicate they fit poorly or are uncomfortable/painful, they must not use hearing protection much. The go in easily using the same methods for most any other in ear protection and the silicon is super comfortable.Highly recommend for your noisy hobby shop, mowing, etc.

Attenuates just enough, but not too much
Finally saw a movie theater movie, which is usually painful due to the theater volume level. At first these seem to let in too much volume, but they don’t. You can hear the dialogue fine and the painful noises are attenuated just enough to be comfortable. I am pleased with these.

Safe and Sound.
I go to a lot of concerts and have religiously worn “ear plugs” since the early 90’s. They were just that though, plugs. They were the type you could buy at any pharmacy chain for a few bucks. They just plugged up the sound and had no sonic definition. These “ear filters” were exactly what I was looking for. A product to reduce the decibel onslaught from Wayne Kramer and the MC5 to a safe level but still provide a sound definition. I’ve seen other products advertised but at a higher price point. The fit was excellent and the comfort level was perfect, didn’t even notice that I had them in. The only drawback I found was removal. I felt that the removal tab wasn’t big enough for my fingers to grab and had to work at it a few times. Not a deal breaker though because the product performance was excellent and I am now aware of the fact that I’ll need to position it just right for easy removal. The included carry case is a great addition too. Overall I am very pleased and this is an excellent product.

Good noise reduction
Disclaimer that I have not tried other products besides traditional full-range hearing protection so I have no point of comparison. I have had these for a few months and worn them for a few concerts and other places that are high-noise settings (loud bar, etc). The ear buds are physically comfortable to worn for a long time. I have small ear canals and even the large size one is quite comfortable for me. The smaller size did not feel quite as effective but equally comfortable. The carrying case is slick and easy to pocket (in the men’s cut jeans I wear). In terms effectiveness, the buds seem to work quite well. I usually find myself noise sensitive and these cut the pain, the noise level, and prevented any lasting discomfort. They still provided authentic sound which was good especially for concerts. In terms of value, I would say they are well worth it. This is a high-quality, well designed product and really, it is hard to say you hearing is worth less than $17 (price at time of purchase).I would recommend this product!

Useful for PTSD
I use these for being in public to filter out most noise except what I need to hear (immediate conversation etc). I have severe CPTSD with hyper vigilance and some places are way too loud for me, but I have no choice over whether I have to be there (grocery stores, government buildings etc). These are discreet and easy to keep in my pocket/purse. No one can tell I am wearing them unless they look directly in my ear. They are also easy to wash, I just wash them with a bit of dial, dry, and pop back in the case for when I need to go out again. These have prevented attacks for me and are definitely worth the money. Maybe not what they were intended for, but I hope this review is helpful for others who may have ptsd or sensory issues. I was wearing earbuds but those are not safe as they block out too much sound and can be seen (someone looking for a victim may see you as prey aka not paying attention to your surroundings).

PAINFUL TO WEAR. Too big for average sized ear canals!!
I bought these because we go to concerts and they’re often loud enough to hurt. Well, these earplugs just made things WORSE. I am an average sized woman, 5’6″, and I have never had any trouble getting normal ear plugs to fit. These things, the disc that actually does the noise reduction, was TOO BIG to fit into my ear canal, I wound up kinda forcing it in, and as a result my ear canals were bruised and painful for over a week after. Even in the smallest silicone part they provided, the little hard disc was simply too big.My husband also complained it was too big to fit in his ears, he just didn’t use them.I don’t recommend these unless you know you have larger than average ear canals!!

crystal clear sound
These Audiomate ear plugs are awesome!! We go see local bands in bars and they have the sound turned up way too high for the venues these days. We are able to sit in front again and still hear the music crystal clear!!! They come in a super small container as pictured that easily fits in my pocket. A band we saw recommended them and swore by them so we both got a set and we love them!!

These are not very comfortable. I have yet to try them out. I think they were a little expensive for what I got.

Works fine and reduces noice while letting your ear breath, but once there is no collor coding on the blugs, you will mix left with right transmitting possible bacterias feom one ear to the other.
