This is not a cheap mixing bowl. It is heavy duty quality with stylish good looks. I also ordered the 6 quart in the same brand which unfortunately does not come with the lid. They nest together perfectly.

Very sturdy and nice size. The reason for a 4 star is the lid is not very flexible. Very hard plastic and hard to remove.

This mixing bowl is great for mixing and and beating dough. It is lighter weight than expected but quite sturdy. It works great for sour dough starter. And it is nice looking. I would definitely buy again! The tapered design allows for smaller foot print on kitchen counter.
