I was making something and my big glass bowl shattered. It was a sad day here.I found this very reasonably priced 2 pack. I decided to give it a try because of price and if I broke one, I already had a back up ð but also because I could actually use one if the other is dirty.I was nervous they’d be poor quality because of the low price. They are actually pretty heavy – as heavy as my old one. I’m not nervous about it cracking (unless I drop it on my tile floor….) during use. I put them in the dishwasher a few times already on various cycles and each time it’s come out nicely.

Quality sturdiness weight Ease of cleaning, itâs all there. Microwave proof, oven proof (Without the cap) Dishwasher proof. Iâm waiting and hoping this company will come out with a frying pan and I will buy that eventually Iâm going to replace every pot and pan with Pyrex. Yes, itâs a little expensive, but itâs worth every penny. Trust me

STURDY AND RELIABLE
These were purchased as water/food bowls for our very-large breed dogs, since glass can reportedly prevent certain skin conditions caused by metal bowls. We needed them to be strong and shatter-resistant, as our dogs are very physical and frequently trash their feeding stations. These bowls have ALL been unceremoniously dumped onto our slate stone floor, and none have even chipped! Pyrex lives up to its name, and we truly appreciate it! Made for an excellent feeding solution for our fur kids.Note⦠only 1-star given for âlightweightâ, but intended as a compliment. These bows are very heavy, and thatâs not a bad thing. They are NOT âlightweightâ!

Exactly what I need to make big salads
Exactly what I was looking for to make big salads. These days almost all of my dinners are salads, and I wanted more large bowls that make it easy to add more greens and easier to toss dressing. My roommate had one bowl around this size, and after going to Target, Wal-Mart, and Bed, Bath & Beyond, I was astounded that none of these stores carried glass bowls around this size. These are perfect to use for a lot of mixing, and I can fit 3 stacked against each other in my dishwasher. 6 total bowls on the bottom rack. I wouldn’t buy bowls over 3 quarts for personal use, those sizes are for bigger meals.One note, these don’t come with lids like other options on Amazon. However, I don’t use the lids so this pack of 2 is ideal.
