The Best phone holder I’ve tried
This is the third phone holder I’ve tried and it’s the best. It doesn’t bounce when I tap my phone. It shifts easily between portrait and landscape without any need to readjust the arm. It’s sturdy and attaches easily to the portable desk that I use. Definitely recommend.

This stand is very good, considering the relative low cost. The desk clamp is nice and inconspicuous, unlike many of the common clamps used with the long extended threaded bolt and wing nut. This one looks very clean, with nothing extending below it. The only negative I have about the desk clamp is that it’s plastic. I can see a limited life due to this; but I realize that helps to keep the cost down.The articulation is not bad, though a bit rough due to what I’ll call a clam-shell joint style, as compared to more advanced joints; but, once again, I could guess it’s a cost saving measure. It’s worth pointing out, after seeing so many people give poor reviews claiming there is no 3rd joint: the 3rd metal joint is there, you just need to use force when extending the rods for the first timeâit will pop up from within the 2nd rod from the base. That’s really not fair for the seller to get bad reviews for a product that is not broken. The seller should pop a quick note in there with instructions about this.The only question about this stand is longevityâas with all articulating, weight-bearing apparatuses like this. There is only one metal joint, with the two towards the phone clamp being plastic. These use the same clam-shell style that the metal uses. As others have pointed out, the main metal joint does not allow for a clean 90° bend; I’m pretty certain it’s a 75° bend. The engineers must’ve determined this is a better angle for load bearing.The phone clamp is ok. It is spring loaded, so eventually that has got to weaken its grip.Before purchasing, I didn’t see the option for the “Plus”, which includes the tablet clamp. I probably would’ve purchased that one had I seen it.Lastly, I would like to see this same stand in a higher quality version: fully articulating, smooth motion joints, that adjust and stay as positionedâlike a monitor arm. I think people would pay the money if done right.

Upper bent arm remains bentâ¦
The upper rod wants to remain in the bent position shown in the photo, which isnât always best. I bought it to place beside my bed so I could watch news videos hands-free. The angle of that bent rodâarmâ isnât perfect for this purpose.

Je viens d’installer l’accessoire en quelques minutes sur un bureau de travail. Il est joli et de bonne facture (je l’ai pris en blanc mat). On peut l’orienter très facilement et son amplitude est satisfaisante.Par contre, il se règle en se positionnant par clics successifs. L’avantage est qu’il reste dans la position où le place, mais qu’on en peut pas le régler au centimètre près. Ce qui ne devrait pas être un problème pour la majorité des utilisateurs.
