Customers say
Customers find the sleeping bag excellent for cold weather, with one noting it works well in camping conditions, and appreciate its high-quality construction and lightweight design that easily compresses to its claimed size. The bag receives positive feedback for its comfort, with customers noting its soft material and good temperature regulation, while the zipper functions smoothly without snagging and can be operated one-handed. The size and filling receive mixed reviews – while some find it roomy around the shoulders, others say it’s too big, and while some praise the fill amount, others report poor distribution. Customers consider it good value for money.

No complaints at all.
I am a purchasing consumer, and my review is not based on a free review sample.I am not getting any kind of compensation for posting these comments.Completely happy with this bag. Recently went on a 14 mile backpacking trip to Yosemite, camped at about 6500 feet with some light snow fall that dusted the ground a couple days prior. Second trip was a nice car camping trip in the Santa Cruz mountains. Temps at night ranged from mid 20’s to upper teens (F). Beneath me I have a thermarest Z-lite “egg-crate” and a Neo-air inflatable pad. As a 100% side sleeper I need extra padding for my hips and shoulders. Clothing was thin dry-release base layer and wool socks, nothing more. I also have a cheap costco down quilt that I spread over my foot/ legs mainly to try and keep condensation off my feet. I am a COLD sleeper too. Which by itself isn’t bad, except when I get those chills at night it makes me want to pee!! totally sucks, I’m like a little girl in this aspect. Which is a royal PITA. I slept warm, cozy no problems with condensation or anything like that. There was always a warm pocket of dry air around me.I am 5-11 and 195 pounds, average build. The regular length was a PERFECT FIT. At no point did I feel constrained in this bag. Shoulder area is roomy enough for me as a side sleeper to roll around from side to side. I was able to pull the hood over my head no problems. LOVE the non-shock corded draw string, nice touch there guys!!Love the safety orange and black coloration too. Its easy to see things against the orange. I put my gloves and wool hat inside the bag to keep them warm… but I never needed them in the night.Compacts down very nicely too with a great stuff-sack. Packed down and compressed its only a little bigger than my ~30F summer bag, a suisse sport trekker from big-5.[Nov 26, 2017, UPDATE]Just finished another backpacking trip at Point Reyes california. Temps got down to low 40F at night. I was warm and toasty all night with nothing more than dry-release base layer clothing, thin gloves and wool socks. For this trip I did not use the extra down quilt that I used above during my Yosemite trip.I love the rigid-cord draw string hood!! I prefer this over elastic shock cord.I have no regrets at all, I would buy another in a heartbeat if I needed to replace this one.

Field test completed – good bag for the money.
****Updated review after field use****Just got back from my elk hunt, bagged one. Woohoo! All right, now on to the sleeping bag. So I used this bag spike camping during the hunt, and knowing certain flaws of the bag, and typical setup of these bags, I was toasty down to 20 degrees. I’m a warm sleeper, so any discomfort at all would irritate the heck out of me, and my setup worked. The following components kept me warm to 20 degrees, it got hot at times, so ymmv. I used an inflatable pad (2.2 R value, about 4 inch high), a fleece insert, with long underwear and socks. I also spread my parka out and placed underneath the bag where my back would be, between the bag and inflatable pad.So that setup was warm to 20 degrees, didn’t feel any cold spots below torso down to my feet during the night. Temperature didn’t go down below 20, so I couldn’t say whether it would keep me warm at 0, but I would imagine it would with an additional layer.Overall, I’m pleased with the bag. It’s super light, takes a bit of stuffing to get it back in the carrier, then the compression straps make short work if compacting it. As with any 0 degrees bag, you would still need layers to keep warm, and this bag did just that. Although I wasn’t exposed to 0 degrees weather, based on my experience I think it would do well if you layer up properly._____________________Just got the bag, so far it’s fitting the description of the negative reviews with regards to fill power and non-existent down or fill on the back side of the bag.Upon closer inspection, the down or filling material kinda clumps together and spreading them out is a chore. Essentially, it looks like the back side of the bag has half the filling the top does. Having just two layers of fabric between you and the element is common on the back side, and I really don’t want to find out that it won’t keep me warm when I’m 10’000 feet up in Colorado in late November.I’m going to try this out in my backyard, it’s still summer here in Southern California so I hope I won’t freeze. I will report back in a few days. The jury is still out on this bag.

Problemloser Kauf.

Pues nunca he dormido a esa temperatura.

My husband and I both bought one of these for a trip to Nepal in November. Being only 5’2, I originally bought the ‘short’ size but decided to exchange it for the ‘regular’, which gave me a little more space and room to turn without wrapping myself up in the bag. There was also room to put my camera and phone and, if necessary, clothes. The large hood meant that I could pull it right over my head and read inside the bag. At night, I occasionally (but not always) put a small duvet over the top for added weight; however, my husband never felt the need for this and never felt cold. When it arrives, the bag is in a compression sac and you need to give it a good shake before using it for the first time. However, it goes back into the sac comfortably and, when you tighten the straps, it is small enough to go into the end of a kit bag or pannier. We were both very happy with the bag and would recommend it, both in terms of quality and value for money. The seller was also really helpful and answered all our queries without any delay.
