A Fabulous Find
During the holidays I thought how nice it would be to have an extra bowl for my mixer, because I kept having to wash my bowl between various steps in recipes. However, I wasnât willing to pay what Kitchen Aid wants for one of their bowls. I never dreamed that I could find a bowl as nice as my original bowl for this price!!! This bowl fits my 5 quart Kitchen Aid Artisan perfectly! It locks in place flawlessly, and it stays in place the whole time the mixer is in use. The look and the weight of the bowl seem identical to my original bowl. (When I placed this bowl next to my original bowl I did find that this bowl is about 2mm shorter than the original.). For better or worse, this bowl even has the same nasty protective coating inside of it that the original had; scrub, scrub, scrub the inside before using it, or your food will have a grey tint to it. (I used liquid Barkeeperâs Friend on a wet sponge to remove the coating without damaging the stainless steel.). Iâm over the moon happy with this bowl, and Iâd definitely recommend it to others.

Good fit on my mixer and the handle is rounded so it doesn’t hurt/cut into my hand. I prefer this bowl over the one that came with my KitchenAid.

Fits like a glove on the 4.5 Classic
I own a Kitchenaide 4.5 Classic and this bowl is a perfect fit. My original bowl does not have a handle and often after running my mixer longer than 10 min, the bowl gets stuck and Iâm finding myself wrestling with my stand mixer. This bowl has a handle and it has not given me any sticky stuck problem. Priced real good too!

This bowl is a double of the branded KitchenAid bowl, but it is much less expensive. The stainless steel is excellent quality. It is polished metal on the exterior and brushed metal on the interior. The handle is very comfortable. It’s wonderful having a second bowl for baking!

I only wish I had been video recording
Wanted to try out my shiny new bowl. I had two chicken breasts I wanted to shred. Put the bowl on my machine and it seemed to fit perfectly. I was excited. Turned on the machine and the bowl jumped off the base of the machine. I my panic to shut it off I accidentally pushed the lever to faster speed. Big mess! No clue why this happened cuz it seemed to fit perfectly. The reason I bought the bowl in the first place is because without a handle on the bowl I sometimes canât get the bowl to unscrew. Well, this one unscrews, thatâs an understatement. Flew off the base of the machine. Like I said, perfect fit, until I turned it on. Needless to say Iâm returning it.
