Great invention
Boyfriend watches phone when out at restaurants/ð¬eating and used to have to prop phone against bottles/cups, which it always sliding. This little item solves his problem and is very compact with its foldable design!

Well-made, worked OK
When I first looked at this stand, I was impressed by its build quality. I also wondered how well it would hold a 9.7″ iPad. It actually worked fairly well, though I found I had to center the tablet somewhat carefully. In my judgment, the triangle base was less stable than rectangular ones for tapping and scrolling. To my surprise, the angle adjustment (by changing the angle of the base) worked well enough. Depending on your phone/tablet size and whether you have a bulky case, you may find some limitations.Ultimately I decided to return it. For a phone on my office desk, this stand would be fine. My use case is a travel stand to replace my iPad case for viewing on airplane trays and hotel tables. I prefer a flat design to this chunkier one for stowing in my laptop bag. And, at 3oz, this stand saves more than half the weight of my old case but is about twice as heavy as plastic hinged stands.

My favorite stand
This is my favorite stand of the many I have tried through the years. You can not beat this stand’s portability and quality, materials. I saw a fellow passenger using one and got the name and now everyone in my family has one. The only con is that there is only one eagle to have your phone at, I can get a few more angles with my pop socket but the is the only draw. It has not really been and issue for me, as the angle is does have is about perfect for viewing. When we bought them they only have black and orange and we have bought multiples of them. Very happy, fits in just about any pocket and you can’t beat the steadiness and material, I had my first one for a year now, we have many all over the house to use as needed (the one in the kitchen hold my phone or tablet for my recipes).

My new go to desk stand
I love the small size and functionality. It has quite the heft for its size and yet is very compact. I keep one in my bag for meetings and then have one on each of desks.

Works as described
If your iPhone has a Ottobox case or any big protective case on it. This holder will not work. I just have a cheap rub case for my phone and it a very tight fit. I have a iPhone 13.
