100 Extra Stars… for Guilt?
I have never written a review in favor of the reviewed item/service. Collectively I have written three reviews (including this), so you can imagine the other two were such horrible experiences that it only speaks to the quality of this product.First of all, this is a great camping pad. The hexagonal air pocket pattern is very comfortable. Inflation is quick and easy. The integrated pillow is just the right size. Deflation is a breeze and it easily packs up into its carrying sleeve. That’s what makes this so uncomfortable…I ordered this pad for camping. To be honest I ordered the most affordable option that had good reviews. I did no research. The pad sat un-inflated in my garage for months. Then I hurt my back. Sleep became elusive and dreadful. I slept upright on my couch for weeks. Then I remembered I had the pad! I inflated it (in about 5 seconds) then laid upon it and was shocked at how it felt. No matter what position I moved in I couldn’t “bottom out”. The hexagonal pattern shifted air to exactly where you needed it. Pressure points were relieved, comfort was achieved. I slept.Disaster struck. The next morning when I woke, I found that the pad had lost its tension and bounce, felt limp and unsupportive. I got up and felt that the pad was holding about 50% of its previous air supply. I assumed the worst, that the pad had suffered a pinhole or separated seam somewhere. I rushed to my computer and contacted ZOOOBELIVES with my complaint, expecting at best a refund, at worst no response. They were so kind and immediately sent out a new pad to make things right, not even attempting to ask me to send the old, “damaged” pad back to them. I was hesitant, thinking ZOOOBELIVES made and inferior product. Why would I want two? That’s when reason struck me. I decided to examine the pad to for user error. Certainly I can’t rule out my own ability to overlook details. When I looked at the inflation valve it turns out I hadn’t closed it all the way by a tiny amount, causing the slow leak. I pushed the valve closed and went about my day, expecting the pad to be deflated by the time I returned. The pad stayed inflated for 2 months straight. Never a leak, never a problem. It sat like a rock. I slept on it every night for two months. The pad became very important to me. I have now moved back into my bed but last night I went in to my garage and saw the pad sitting there, inflated, and thought “I have to make this right”.I assume ZOOOBELIVES is some large foreign corporation with these sorts of things built in the their business model. Truth be told I can’t return a pad I slept on for 60+ days straight, it probably smells. I considered trying to donate the funds to them somehow, or maybe getting in touch and offering to pay for the pad I reported damaged, but that seemed strange. My penance for fleecing a company out of the $40 that is the price of this pad is this review. I decided to write this as a way to honor the product that helped me out so much, of which I took advantage. I assumed the pad was poor quality, ZOOOBELIVES knows their products are top-shelf and just wanted me to walk away experiencing the joy that is “ZOOOBELIVES Ultralight Sleeping Pad with Built-in Pillow, Inflatable Camping Mattress”. They essentially gave me $40 to change my mind. And I gotta tell you, I’m a ZOOO-BELIEVER.I’m sorry, ZOOOBELIVES. Hopefully you see this and can’t find some way to forgive me. I know I am having a hard time forgiving myself.

Noisy inflating. But good for traveling
This is just what I need for traveling with questionable mattresses with a bad back.. My only complaint is the loud noise it makes inflating. So far so good.

Best sleep camping
Product showed up in a very timely manner. I purchased the octagon style air pad with the built in pillow. It took about 4 mins and 35 seconds to blow the pad and the pillow up after all the giggling we did because of the funky noises it made when inflating. I tested this out on a hardwood floor with no sheet between me and the pad and with it being 80 degrees I didn’t stick to it, when I woke up in the morning I wasn’t all stiff either. I just came back from camping and with my tent being on small gravel I still had no problems like I use to when I would use the foam sleeping pad I have. So I will be replacing my old foam pad with this!On the same camping trip I had my husband who weights about 250 lbs sleep on the foam pad the 1st night and then sleep on this air mat the 2nd night and noticed no noises from the mat when he would moved, he also said it was so much more comfortable than sleeping on the foam pad and could not feel the gravel. I would like to note that the 1st night he slept poorly and tossed and turned. The 2nd night he was asleep in mins and didn’t tossed and turn unlike me who was using the foam pad the 2nd night. The only complaint he had was, he wished it had been about 4″ wider due to his wide shoulders. The air pad kept the air in both nights he slept on it. When packing up the air pad to put in the package it came in, I was able to get it back in the bag again! As you can see in the 1st photo I ended up folding my foam pad in half to try not to feel the gravel compared to the air pad on the right my husband was trying out. Because both me and my husband were very pleased with this air pad I will be purchasing the other style I saw made by this company to replace his foam pad.

Holes
Bought it 3 years ago now. Worked great until it didnât. Recently used it and somehow got a bunch of holes. Some I still canât find even after putting it in water. Iâve patched 5 so far. Other than that I loved it and it worked great. Sad to retire it.

Works for a middle aged overweight side sleeper!
Over the past few decades gravity seems to have increased while the ground has become hard and bumpy. It is almost as if mother nature is conspiring to keep me from being comfortable in the great outdoors. For many years I was comfortable sleeping on those cheap blue mats you get from Walmart. Of late however, those have lost their appeal causing me to look for something that was more suitable to my current situation. While seeking the Holy Grail of something that was light, durable, functional, and cheap, I stumbled upon this product. As an avid hiker whoâs a bit on the chunky side I was looking for something that would keep my 6 foot 250 pound self comfortable without breaking my back while carrying it or my wallet when buying it. To complicate matters, I am a side-sleeper so I needed something that didnât take long to set up but would keep my hips from touching the ground. Well this one worked on all counts. I can lay on my back belly or side comfortably, without anything touching the ground. The pillow, which has a depression molded-in for your ear to lay in, is inflated separately from the rest of the pad so that you can adjust the pillow thickness and pressure to suit. The build quality seems very good, it inflates easily, deflates quickly, and easily fits back in the included stuff sack. What more could I ask?

It’s serving me well, but I’m a bit concerned about the plug for the pillow, it looks like it might come loose if I’m to rough in opening it.
Kaitlyn –
Itâs super thin and not very comfortable at all.Not much support since itâs just small thin pockets of air!
