Good starter set.
Wanted to replace nonstick pans. These are nice and not too expensive for my first set. Use them everyday. They are heavier than my old pans but ok. Clean up nicely .

Good bang for your buck
This is a great entry piece into stainless steel cooking. The tri-layer build, allows for good, not great, heat distribution. The inside of the pan typically maintains a temp within ~30 degrees of the out portion of the cooking area. If used correctly this pan cleans easy and will work well for a long time. I’m about 2 months into using this pan quite frequently. No complaints so far. In fact quite the opposite.The riveted handle makes the entire inside of pan smooth. The lid fits perfectly. This product offers a high quality to cost ratio.

Cannot recommend: stickiness, too-thin layer of SS
At first glance, it seemed like a solid pan: good weight, comfortable handle, perfect lid, looks good. I’ve used the pan five times: fried eggs, poached eggs, bacon, and braised, simmered beef. Each time, the food stuck and it’s nearly impossible to get it clean. I use only generous amounts of oil and butter, never cooking spray. I use the lowest heat necessary.Now, I’ve been cooking for a long time. I’m a successful cast iron cook, and I have old stainless steel pans (Revere Ware from my grandmother) and a few other specialty stainless pans. I tried different methods of soft-seasoning this pan, have always kept the gas flame low, have never let the pan get too hot, and never burned anything in the pan. I now have scratches in the pan when I have used only silicone utensils and hand washed with safe scrubbers and Dawn; there are also three tiny flecks of stainless steel missing from the inner pan! The stainless steel inner layer is so incredibly thin, you can see the next, darker layer in the missing specks of aluminum.I’ve never seen anything like this in even cheaper stainless pans. Further, after the first time eggs stuck, regardless of soaking and washing by hand, the pan seems irreparably impaired. If anyone could spray stainless steel on a surface to the thinnest degree, this would be it. I believe if you experience sticking, the pan will never release easily again, regardless of care. I’m not a cookware engineer, but something is off about the quality or depth of the stainless cooking surface. It’s almost as if there’s a coating on the cooking surface, and if this gets too hot, it abnormally ruins the pan; but this could happen even on low-med. heat. A pan needs to be more robust; I cannot imagine using this pan to sear a steak.tl;dr I do not recommend this product. Beware.

I’ve started a process of replacing my old, cheap, stainless steel pots with more modern, higher-performing pots. After reading a million written reviews and watching a million video reviews of high end stainless steel pots from major name brands, I chose to buy a small one of these Slotted brand pots, that I’d never heard of, but which looked good, and seemed to have the features I wanted, at a very reasonable, non-astronomical price.I’ve been so happy with the first pot I bought, that I’ve since bought a second one in a different size, and this frying pan, and a saute pan from this company. So far I’m very happy with the quality, constuction, finish, weight, balance, handle, and performance of these items.

I bought 3 stainless steel pans⦠8,10, and 12 inch with 2 glass lids. I got rid of all my Teflon pans . I heard they are not healthy. I followed all the cooking instructions and used only on medium heat. The pans got that brown haze and water stains. I went on u tube to see how people clean the pans. Vinegar and baking soda works ok. I also got bar keepers friend cleanser but havenât used it yet. I can tell that the pans need a lot of attention when itâs time to wash them. Thatâs why I gave 4 stars.Other than that the pans are nice and heavy with a handle that stays cool when your cooking .I also picked these because you canât see the screws on the inside of pan and you can use them in the ovenUpdate: love the pans! Bar keepers friend is a must with the silver scrubber. Takes everything off. And hard food on pan, just put some water in pan and boil, the food comes right off. I love the stainless pans! I will never go back!

Excellent pan and a comfortable kitchen staple for anyone searching for a large stainless steel pan.I had concerns about the handle given that it had to be attached manually, but itâs simple to do so, with the handle then being as reliable as if it came pre-attached. Would buy again.
