Customers say
Customers find the backpack tent easy to assemble and appreciate its compact size that fits a sleeping bag and pillow, with plenty of space for one person. Moreover, the tent performs well and offers good value for money. However, the durability receives mixed feedback – while some say it holds up well, others report it breaking within a month. Additionally, water resistance is also mixed, with some finding it water-resistant while others report the interior getting wet.

Handy tent
Bought for motorcycle trips. Compact and easy to set up

weight
Thin but works. Sets up well and tears down well. Lots of room and light weight for the size.

Good – but not the best
My son ordered 3 tents prior to a backpacking trip. This was his second favorite of the group. It is much taller inside than expected, and is wider than the others as well – definitely a 1.5 person. Note that it does not have a separate rainfly, but the tent ceiling is the fly. This means it doesn’t have a mesh top for hot nights that need more airflow. The poles on this tent aren’t the best – the elastic is way too loose, which makes attachment tough.Overall, good tent.Tents reviewed:#1 – MC TOMOUNT 1-person#2 – Artic Lemmings 7.2x4x4′ tent#3 – Clostnature Crux 1-person

Decent product
For this price point, this tent did the job. My oldest son took it backpacking. It rained several times, and the rain stayed out. He did have issues with condensation, but not sure if that was user error or not. Both of my older kiddos used it again the next week backpacking, and it was a little small for both of them and their things, but got the job done. It was the lightest tent I found at this price point, so I am happy with how it has held up.

Unbeatable product for the low price
Read dozens of the reviews before purchase; all very helpful (even if not indicated), and will go easy, gently with the zippers (and probably light lube spray when needed); will bring an extra rain fly in case of heavy rain, where otherwise the bottom tarp appears watertight/proof as advertised; and will take down one pole length from each of the two cross poles when heavy winds appear, to avoid possible break, in addition to securing with rope ties. The headroom is awesome, the inside spacious for an average sized person, with plenty of room for gear. — As to some comments about the air density and sauna-like feel of the tent during summer..?? the whole front has a screen with pull back flaps– otherwise, I’m gonna love it next winter!!

An Arctic Lemon, more like.
I purchased 4 tents under 40 dollars that had good reviews. I was looking for a lightweight 1 or 2 person tent that could hold up to many solo backpacking trips. I was hoping to keep all 4 for use in emergency bags for our kids leaving the next. I assembled each in our living room and that was enough of an evaluation, based on the assumption that I would end up applying additional waterproofing to any of these. My rankings (best to worst):#1 Idoogen Vera Dome 2 Person Portable Tent – as light as the others, but truly a 2 person tent with a thick floor.#2 Night Cat Backpacking Tent for One – good enough and big enough for 1.#3 Arctic Lemmings Single Backpack Tent âFour Eyes Birdâ – poor pole construction and no ventilation.#4 JELUCAMP 2 Person Dome Backpacking Tent – couldnât get past the fiberglass splinters. The Arctic Lemmings âFour Eyes Birdâ tent landed near the bottom for several reasons. First, like all of the tents tested with the exception of the Idoogen tent, it has a thin bathtub floor. But the key negative issues were ventilation and poor poles. A tiny roof vent that made the tent suffocating after just a few minutes of sitting inside of it. Additionally the poles did not fit well into their complementary metal joiners when trying to assemble the tent and some required significant force. When disassembling, some of the metal joiners separated completely – not good.

One of the best tents we’ve ever used.
Took three of these on a two-week national park road trip. One tent per person so we didn’t have to spend time dicking around with a big tent. It goes up in two minutes and down in not much longer (tip: put a tarp under so you don’t have to wait for the floor to dry). So these tents went up and down multiple times and nobody had a rip, tear, or zipper issue (2nd tip: put your air mattress in it before you blow it up, cuz it won’t really fit thru the door once inflated.) FANTASTIC TENTS.
