Great little heater
Excellent little heater. I have heated a tent with almost anything you can think of without just building a fire in the middle of the floor. This is definitely my new favorite. I don’t think it would work like my catalytic heater, which I have let run all night or until the propane ran out, But it is definitely worthwhile to turn on for five minutes and heat a tent right up.

Small and compact
Works great from the start. Would definitely recommend. Doesn’t warm up the whole area, but a good couple of feet away from the heater will keep you warm with a fan circulating

Not bad but not quite as expected
Not bad but was not as expected either. It does heat the surrounding area (just right around the stove, which was as advertised. Not widely like two feet) but the real problem I had was how painfully long the stove took just to boil 23oz of water. It took 23 minutes on the highest volume. Too long. I did not even try to cook on it. Didnât need to experiment it since it took a looong time just to boil water. This defeats the purpose of buying this stove; I was looking for a multipurpose butane gas stove that heats and cooks simultaneously. If one of the functions is not sufficient, it wonât work for me. Also, the temperature setting is not truly adjustable. Once you turn the knob to the lines closer to the OFF point, the stove turns off all together. That means, you will always have to use it only on high setting (see the picture). It is not a bad product but not as functional as advertised. However, if you only use it as a heat, this stove will serve you well, I think.

Good for portable working heat anywhere.
Provides a good amount of heat. Essentially a space heater that runs on gas. Comperable to the mini heater buddy heaters. I like the stove shelf but don’t really have a use for it. Just needed this to throw some heat towards the working area while I’m working under the hood of the car. Have it set up on the table next to the fender and it throws warm air into the engine bay where I am working. Good enough to take the edge off the cold and allow me to take the gloves off and keep my hands warm.

Very nice heater, not so good for cooking
This is a nice little outdoor space heater, though not much of a cookstove. It is fairly light, not too bulky, and dead simple to operate. The butane can (not included) is easy to install and remove, and ignition is quick. I was a little dismayed to see in the instructions that it is recommended to use at or above freezing, as the main time I would want a heater is in colder conditions. However, as long as the butane itself is kept from extreme cold it really shouldnât be a problem. The âshelfâ that mounts on the front could be useful for keeping food or drinks warm, but I find that it gets jarred loose and falls off far too easily for my liking. In the future I will likely just leave that piece at home and avoid the hassle.Regarding âcookingâ on this unit, be prepared to wait. It would probably function okay for gradually warming up a can of soup or chili without scorching it. For boiling water or actually cooking something like meat, it takes way too long to be practical. The small camping kettle in the picture was just starting to steam after 15 minutes on high. I didnât bother waiting to see how long it would take before it actually boiled, as I have a couple of very lightweight backpacking stoves that would do the job in just a few minutes. Definitely use this unit for space heating or warming prepared foods, not as a real stove for cooking. That said, it can be used very effectively as a tent heater, so long as precautions are taken. I tried it out on a freezing overnighter in my 4-season tent and it worked great. The heater was sitting on a welding blanket, well clear of combustibles, with a tent vent open and a carbon monoxide monitor nearby. I ran it for a while before bed, warming the tent to about 60 degrees before turning it off. The radiant heat was quite cozy and soothing, and the heater surprisingly quiet. Sometime around 2:00 I woke up cold and discovered that the tent interior was down to 32 degrees, which was a bit too chilly for my old lightweight 3-season mummy bag. Turning the stove on to a low setting, I soon felt warmer and drifted back to sleep. Around 4:30 animal noises woke me once more. I then turned off the heater when I saw that it was about 66 degrees in the tent. From that point it stayed comfortably warm for me until I got up to get the day started. Iâm not sure what the outside temperature was, but there was a heavy layer of frost on everything. The butane can was almost empty, but the single can was more than enough for my needs overnight in those conditions. Impressively, carbon monoxide output was quite low, even with the heater set on high. My monitor â sitting a little over a foot away from the heater â never exceeded 30 ppm, and near my pillow it was below 20. If I was going to run it all night long I would probably open another vent just to be certain, but Iâm now confident in using it for a hot tent.TL;DR – For space heating and/or warming food, this unit is a solid choice. If you are looking for a real stove for cooking, look elsewhere.

Works good, does double duty
Great little heater. Easy to install butane cylinder, and simple controls. Mine started right up on first try. You can put a small pan or coffee pot on top, and something the size of two coffee cups on the front shelf. Should work good to take the chill out of a tent. Nice to have a combo heater and stove.

I really like this little heater/stove a lot.
I saw this unique little tent heater/stove and was really excited to try it out, and it didn’t disappoint. Most heaters that I have tried in a tent are hard to control and the tent gets too hot and you have to turn the heat off, only to turn it back on an hour or two later. This heater is better designed for the confined space of a tent, or to put in front of you outside on a cool evening for a little added warmth. it is easy to control the heat output, and there is less chance of the heat becoming overpowering in a confined space. Most of the heat is up and out of the top of the heater, but a significant amount is reflected toward the front so that if set it in front of you when outside it will provide some heat.Using this as a stove for heating water or cooking is much slower than products that are specifically designed for that purpose, but it does work and is probably safer to use inside than some of those other camp stoves. The only thing that I really didn’t like about the product was the handle, because I could not safely pick the stove up, or move it when in operation, and especially not with something cooking or sitting on the warming plate. The stove works great for keeping bowls/pots of soup or other food and drinks warm. The little tray that attaches in front works perfectly for this purpose.I really like this little heater/stove a lot and I plan to get a lot of use out of it in the future.
