Great quality simple large terrine
I love this giant American-made glass terrine. It’s bigger than I thought it would be, which is nice. Very well made, as to be expected from Anchor Hocking. The packaging was minimal but extremely effective.The CHINESE MADE wooden lid is probably ok quality, but the gasket doesn’t provide as tight a seal as I expected. There is also a sticker that states for dry goods only, which is not my intended use. Also disappointed that this lid is made in China. Not enough to dock a star, though.

Expect blemishes
I think Amazon is selling factory seconds of these and thatâs why theyâre only 20 something dollars because usually glass trifle dishes are around 40 bucks and thatâs why I never had one before now. But I saw the price and thought now is the time to get one. And I do like it, just donât expect it to be perfect and youâll be happy. Read some of the one star reviews, some of them had the base off center, most had blemishes of some kind. Mine is ok. It does have a blemish in the bowl part. But I can put that in the back and once itâs full of pudding and cake probably will not be noticeable. But yeah, itâs not perfect. So I took off one star.

Great dish you can use for so many desserts.
What a beautiful and fun dish. You can make so many pretty desserts.I did a simple chocolate pudding topped with Cool Whip and it was a huge hit.
