Customers say
Customers find the stroller adapter sturdy and easy to install, taking only a couple of minutes to set up. However, the functionality and fit receive mixed feedback – while it works well with the Chicco keyfit, it doesn’t work with the GT2 double stroller, and some customers report issues with the fabric being too tight. Moreover, the adapter compatibility is problematic, with several customers reporting it’s impossible to install the Chicco adapter. Additionally, safety concerns are raised, with customers describing it as unsafe, and many find it extremely overpriced.

Fits well and works
This attachment fits well into our Baby Jogger City Mini GT2, and works well with our Chicco Keyfit 30. I’ve found it easy to remove and attach. The build quality seems pretty good from what I can tell and from testing of lifting the stroller by the attachment. There’s a part labeled C which isn’t mentioned in the instructions and not necessary for our car seat.

The adapter does work with the Chicco keyfit 35 infant car seat!
Our stroller is the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 and infant car seat is the Chicco keyfit 35. We had bought the car seat first for the over all high rate crash protection scores and wanted to get a cheaper stroller that could work with our Chicco keyfit 35. We did not like the chicco strollers unfortunately and researched other brands that had adaptors. Because the keyfit 35 is newer, sadly there were not enough reviews to help us pin point a adaptor for specific strollers. We found that the City Mini had great reviews and had adaptors sold separately. Most of the reviews were for the keyfit 30. So we decided to go out on a hunch and purchased both the stroller and adapter in hopes that it would work with our keyfit 35. (we did purchase the stroller for 40% off on Amazon during Prime deals.) Load and behold it worked!! The infant car seat clicks right into place and secured. The release bar on the back of the car seat easily detaches from the adapter. We have no issues with pinching or harder to release issues bc the 35 is slightly bigger than the 30. IT WORKS PERFECTLY! 10/10

2021 DOES NOT FIT Baby Jogger City Mini 2 Stroller; AVOID BABY JOGGER
Based on internet reviews and recommendations, we purchased the Baby Jogger City Mini 2 Stroller, Chicco KeyFit 30 car seat, and this adapter per Baby Jogger’s car seat recommendations to fit with their stroller. The purchases were made at the end of 2021. We used the car seat, setup the stroller, and when it came time to add the adapter to the stroller, IT DOES NOT FIT. The stroller fabric is too tight for this adapter to fit. I contacted Baby Jogger via their website. Instead of responding with help, our email got flooded with sales ads. I called, was on hold for ~20 minutes, and spoke to a representative that said “It fits” and offered to go through the instructions with me. Yes, we already removed the canopy, but that does not solve the problem! She suggested that since we purchased through a third party vendor (Amazon) that the wrong product was put in the box. I offered the serial number so she could check her records, and they don’t use serial numbers anymore despite requiring it for their “outdated” (her words) webform that was setup years ago. If we hadn’t already recycled the City Mini 2 stroller box, we would have returned both of their products. Due to the poor design and poor customer service, save your precious waking hours and buy from a different company. Avoid Baby Jogger.

Chicco 30 and city mini gt2
I have a city mini gt2 single and this adapter worked for my chicco 30 carseat. I know a lot of people had trouble with this adapter, so I called BBJogger helpline ahead of time to confirm that it would work with my model before purchasing. For reference, my stroller was built in 2021. But yeah it works as intended. Seamless installation too, did not had to loosen the elastic or anything like that.

Adapter fortunately compatible
The most important information first: The adapter works, at least for us. Based on past reviews we were a little nervous whether everything would fit. It seemed like the compatibility depends on the manufacturing dates since Baby Jogger must have finally realized the issue and updated their products. On the packaging of our adapter it says that it was manufactured on December 15, 2021 (strange that it is still sold as new more than two and a half years later and the package looked like it had been opened before). Our Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 was officially manufactured on November 15, 2023. Our car seat is a Chicco KeyFit 35. Hopefully, this helps others in their decision process.I still subtracted one star due to the uncertainty around the compatibility and because the canopy cannot be used with the car seat (though the car seat itself comes with some shade canopy).

**100% COMPATIBLE W/BABY JOGGER CITY MINI GT2**
This adapter should most definitely work with your stroller and car seat, I have a 2021 City Mini GT2 and the adapter fits. I also have the Peg Perego 4-35 Viaggio Lounge Car Seat and it fits on the adapter with no issues. EVERYTHING IS COMPLETELY STABLE!!**THE YELLOW CIRCLED PICTURES IS WHAT MY STROLLER HAS**In the beginning, it was hard to attach the adapter onto the stroller. We’d forcefully push the adapter onto the slots, one side would click and one side wouldn’t click or both sides would click but when we’d pull the adapter to make sure it was secured, the adapter would slip off. When we were having these issues, I did notice that the fabric and elastic bands were extremely tight around the adapter slots when we tried to forcefully push the adapter in. The fabric and elastic bands were so tight that it was stopping the adapter from clicking into the slots all the way. At one point, the stroller was folded with the adapter attached. My spouse decided to shake the adapter off the ground, as the stroller was folded, and we noticed that the adapter wasn’t slipping off but when we opened up the stroller, the adapter became loose and was easily pulled out. I decided to take the adapter out and loosen up the fabric so I searched how to take the fabric off the stroller. After loosening up the fabric from the bottom of the stroller, attaching the adapter back on, and trying to forcefully pull the adapter off the stroller, the adapter never came off. I also had my spouse try it out and the adapter never budged off. I reassembled the loose fabric back into place and everything was perfectly fine. The adapter was completely attached and stable, and not once did it come off the stroller. Even with the car seat attached, the adapter is 100% durable.**THE SOLUTION SHOULD BE TO LOOSEN UP THE FABRIC TO ALLOW THE ADAPTER TO CLICK INTO THE SLOTS ALL THE WAY**
