Very good purchase
They are very lightweight, but sturdy. The lids fit perfectly and seal well. Iâm pretty sure they will get scratched but itâs inevitable – even my momâs expensive ones from Williams Sonoma are filled with scratches, so itâs okay. Very satisfied!

Lighter than expected but awesome bowls!!!!
The bowls are lighter weight than expected but perform very well. I love the easy to use lids, too. Iâve made salads, jello and more in them and everything is as expected. I got them because my husband makes popcorn and sometimes has melted plastic bowls. These are perfect for popcorn, too! Great value for the money.

I love the nesting storage! Set of five mixing bowls comes with lids.
I ordered this set of Baker’s Signature Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl With Lid, Metal Mixing Bowl Set Of 5, Nesting Set For Food Prep, Baking,Storage, Cooking, Serving | Dishwasher & Microwave Safe, 0.5/1.5/3/4/5 Qt stainless steel bowls to use in my baking and bread making. This set of five nesting bowls is made from stainless steel; they are slightly more lightweight than my other stainless mixing bowls, and very sturdy. The bowls nest easily; a great advantage in my small NYC kitchen. They all fit neatly inside the largest 5 quart bowl, which measures about 4 3/5â tall, with a 10 1/4â diameter. The set I received included bowls measuring .5 quart, 1.5 quart, 3 quart, 4 quart, and 5 quart; it also has covers to fit each bowl. The flexible lids are BPA free. The bowls are dishwasher safe, but the lids are hand wash. I found the lids very easy to clean with a quick rinse.Iâm not sure why these are advertised as microwave safe; I wouldnât put metal in my microwave. They are freezer safe, which is great. This is a nice set of basic kitchen equipment; perfect for a kitchen shower or in a gift basket for a housewarming or apartment warming. Theyâre also great for adding to your kitchen arsenal; after using so many of my bowls while cooking Easter dinner that I was reduced to using cereal bowls, I was very pleased to see this sturdy, inexpensive set of mixing bowls to expand my range.I love baking and bread making; having more good sized mixing bowls allows me to set more than one kind of dough to rise at once. I love how these bowls have the sizes on their fronts; great when youâre trying a new recipe that says you need, say, a three quart mixing bowl.At the current price ($29.99) I think this is an excellent bargain; these bowls are well made and will last a good long time. I love the nesting storage and the convenient pop on lids. Great for beginning and experienced cooks, this useful set of mixing bowls is sized to fit a variety of kitchen needs.

Good enough value.
This is a nice set of five mixing bowls in shiny (as opposed to brushed) stainless steel. From the smallest to the largest, they claim a capacity in quarts of 0.5, 1.5, 3. 4 and 5. As measured by me, the one that claims 4 qt. capacity holds approximately 9/10 of a US gallon when filled to the brim and just about to overflow–so it is at least in the ball-park of the claimed capacity. The inside of the bowl, at the bottom, has a shallow relief; by the rim there is an indented step. The larges bowl (5 q.), as measured by me, weighs approximately 9.5 oz. without the lid (its lid by itself weighs approx. 3 oz.), and the smallest bowl (0.5 qt) weighs approximately 2.7 oz. (its lid by itself weighs approx. 1 oz.), so they are kind-of light. In my opinion, the steel is thin enough that a bad bump will leave an indentation at least on the largest bowl, but, on the other hand, they are easy to move around, which may be more important. All lids are made of semi-opaque soft plastic, and can be flexed easily. Except for the 3 qt. bowl, the lids, once inserted, are tight enough that a gentle press in the middle would expel some air and hold (almost like a Tupperware container). For some reason, the lid of the 3 qt. bowl was a little loose, i.e. not tight enough to have the same behavior.Important note: the lids are *not* dishwasher safe, as is stated in the instructions inside the box. One star docked for this inconvenience. This notwithstanding, I’d say this is good enough value

Mediocre
The bowls are nice but the lids are cheap and not air tight.

Love These! ð
This set of mixing bowls is the perfect addition to any kitchen!I love the various sizes that are included: 0.5 cup, 1.5 cups, 3qts, 4 qts, and 5 qts, and I LOVE, LOVE, Love how each bowl has its own corresponding lid. While these bowls are lightweight, they are certainly sturdy enough, to not be easily damaged or to warp. *Although, I will say this:I havenât used an electric hand mixer with one of these bowls yet. Therefore, I canât speak to how well they hold up, under more âaggressiveâ circumstances. I can only speak to how itâs been with a spoon and a whisk.âAnd theyâve been amazing.

This is a good quality, multipurpose stainless steel mixing bowl set of five bowls of different sizes. All five bowls can be perfectly nested with each other and come with matching plastic lids. The lids are made of durable plastic, and they fit snugly on each bowl, locking in freshness and making them ideal for storing leftover food. The quality of the stainless steel is quite good, and the bowls look shiny and well-made. These bowls are sturdy but lightweight, making them easy to handle during meal prep. The bowls can also be used for storing leftover food or ingredients. The variety of sizes in this set makes this a multipurpose set which can be used for snacking, mixing, storing and a lot of other tasks. Overall, this is a well-made and sturdy mixing bowl set which is useful for multiple tasks in the kitchen.
Customer Review –
I didnât think much about mixing bowls until I got a new set that actually made a difference. I cook a lot at homeânothing fancy, just regular stuff like tossing together salads, prepping dough, and marinating meat. I had this mismatched pile of plastic bowls that never stacked right and somehow always absorbed weird smells. One warped in the dishwasher. That was the last straw.I swapped them out for a stainless steel setâthree bowls in different sizes, with lidsâand it’s been way more useful than I expected. The sizes hit just right: the smallest oneâs great for beating eggs or mixing dressings, the middle oneâs my go-to for tossing a pasta salad, and the biggest is surprisingly good for bread dough or when Iâm meal prepping for the week.Theyâre stainless steel, so they donât hold onto smells, and they actually feel solid but still light enough to grab with one hand when Iâm moving fast in the kitchen. The rolled edges are nice, tooâno sharp bits, and theyâre easy to grip without slipping. The lids have been handy for tossing something in the fridge without needing cling wrap, and the bowls all nest together neatly so they donât take over the cabinet.Honestly, I didnât expect to notice such a difference with something as basic as mixing bowls, but these have made kitchen stuff a little smootherâand thatâs all I was really after.

These mixing bowls look as pictured, and can be easily stacked with the lids removed. This is great, since I don’t have a lot of cupboard space. The air tight lids are very practical for storing food in the fridge, and the stainless steel material is very easy to clean. It does not stain or hold on to odours like plastic. Unfortunately, the lids cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher, which is a bit of a downside for me. Despite this, I find this set very useful for storing salads, fruit, vegetables, marinated meats, cookie dough and icing. I love how practical it is to prepare something in the bowl, and then pop the cover on for later use.

This mixing bowl set with air tight lids is very practical, and a good alternative to plastic for storing food in the fridge. I like using it for salads, fruit, vegetables, or even leftover popcorn and chips. It is great for anything that does not need to be microwaved. The bowls are easy to clean and can be thrown in the dishwasher, however the lids need to be washed by hand. I think this is because the plastic is not heat resistant. I really like how the bowls are stackable and take up very little space in my cupboard. I recommend trying these if you like having a set that fits together, as opposed to separate bowls which are often hard to put away if you have limited space.

This Bakerâs Signature Mixing Bowl set includes 1.5QT, 3QT and 5QT bowls that are perfect for use as salad mixing bowls, meal prep bowls, baking or for general, everyday kitchen use. They’re made from food grade Stainless Steel and have a highly polished interior with a brushed exterior. The bowls have smooth rolled edges so they’re comfortable to hold, and flat bottoms so they won’t roll around on your counter. Each bowl comes with a plastic press fit lid that has two rows of gaskets for a secure air tight and leakproof fit. The lids have raised finger grips so they’re easy to remove.I found the fit of the lids on the 1.5QT and 5QT bowls was very snug and I was able to fill both bowls with water and turn them upside down with no leaking whatsoever. The fit of the lid on the 3QT bowl was slightly looser and there were a few drips when I tried to do the same with it. This isn’t a big concern, but I wanted to point it out.The bowls are stackable/nesting so they take up very little space in a drawer or cupboard when you’re not using them. They’re very easy to clean and can be washed by hand or in your dishwasher. The lids however are not dishwasher safe and should only be washed by hand.Overall I’m very happy with the quality of these bowls and think they’re a really good value at this price point, so I’m giving these a highly recommended and 4.5 out of 5 stars.
