No-rinse makeup remover
This micellar water works well for removing makeup. It even removes all my eye makeup, though my mascara is not waterproof, so take that with a grain of salt. I like that this is non-greasy and leaves my skin feeling fresh and not sticky. It contains no fragrance and has hardly any scent. It contains several beneficial fungi-based extracts, so it could possibly be used in place of a toner. It comes in a plastic bottle with an easy pour cap and an expiration date of slightly less than one year from the date I received it. The only thing I don’t like is that the top of the cap frequently pops off when I open it, but otherwise, this is a nice product.

Gets Every Bit of Dirt Off
All you do is soak a cotton pad with this cleansing water and stroke it across your face.Although I still sometimes use soap or an exfoliating cleanser, this also acts like a toner. Takes care of any residual exfoliation or soap product left on my face.Does not dry me out.

Not a lot of bang for your buck
I usually buy the Garnier brand so I was intrigued when I came across this much more expensive Milcellar water. I wondered what could possibly be so good as to justify the $28.00 price.I swiped it on one side of my face and used Garnier on the other side. The Biba De Sousa water seemed to pick up more dirt on the first swipe, but the Garnier got it all with a second or third swipe. If anything, this brand was actually less effective at removing eye makeup, particularly mascara (and I use regular easy to remove mascara, not the waterproof kind). It got it eventually, but took a little extra scrubbing. So the big question is, Garnier at $.66 per ounce, or Biba De Sousa at $7.00 per ounce? Unless money is not an issue for you, it’s a no brainer. For this kind of savings, I’ll gladly go over my face an extra two or three times with Garnier.

Soapy
Have used drug store Micellar waters and was so excited to upgrade to this. It is slightly thicker than waters I have used before. I am not a heavy make up user, just a little concealer and mascara / liner. Used a drop on a cotton pad and it foams, slightly soapy. Leaves a soapy feel but absorbs. It stings my eyes and leaves them red and dry so stopped using around eyes.

Made eyes burn, didn’t remove waterproof mascara
Did not like this product at all. It made my eyes sting really bad and did not remove my waterproof mascara! Double checked that I was using this product right and yes, it IS supposed to remove makeup, even around the eye area. Not a good product and is overpriced for the amount you receive.

Scent Free, Quick Makeup Remover.
I mainly use BB Cream, which is a light foundation. I tried this Micellar Water on the BB Cream, it seems work well. For the coverage on my face, I only used 3 drops of this Micellar Water. The Micellar Water is completely scent free and feels just like clear water. It melts the BB Cream quickly and removes the BB Cream effectively. The product can be used as No-Rinse Cleanser. In my experience, I feel my skin still needs a regular facial washing after. So for me, I think this Micellar Water works well as a quick makeup remover. It is a small bottle, but since I only need a few drops every time, this small bottle still will last a while for me.

Easily Removes Makeup
I have been using this lately to help in removal of my makeup, especially eye products and I really like it for that purpose. This removes makeup without drying my already dry skin. I use this on the eyes and then work my way around the rest of my face and follow by a gentle cleanse and the rest of my skincare routine. I have very sensitive eyes, this does not irritate my eyes at all. The best way to remove eye makeup such as mascara, is to apply the product onto a soft towel and hold on the eyes for a minute or two, then remove, repeat until makeupmis gone. It works perfectly and I really love it. Gentle and effective.

Works well on some makeup, but not the best at removing glitter or waxy eyeliners
This is pretty good for removing some makeup such as powder eyeshadows, but not the best for taking off glitters and heavier waxy liners or lipsticks. As you can see in the picture, I used a couple drops of this remover on a wet wipe and swiped down once on some different types of makeup. Itâs fine if you want a basic remover, but expect to still need to wash your face afterwards. For the amount of product you get and its limited utility, it isnât the best deal. My go to remover is from Tonymoly which is about half the price and twice the amount of product, and I would definitely prefer to keep using that one over this.
