Great facial cleanser for sensitive skin!
The Biore charcoal cleanser is a gentle yet powerful facial cleansing product that does not dry out or irritate my skin. I am able to use this on my face daily and love the way it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. The results are obvious as you see the improvement in your skin if you suffer from oily skin or blackheads.

This has been great for an annoying skin condition I have struggled with for years….
I picked this up on a whim when I was purchasing a new package of Biore pore strips–I had never tried any of the other products in this line, but several coupons popped up and the price of this item and a couple of others seemed so good, that I just had to try them. I have very dry skin, but it is also extremely sensitive, so I have to be careful with new products. I think I finally have the dryness under control with a whole arsenal of serums and moisturizers, but I’m still trying to find the best cleanser (or combination of cleansers) for my face. I have enlarged pores on my nose and chin and I also have that slightly dimpled skin = peau d’orange on my chin which seems to be tied to blocked glands just under the surface. I have never been able to do anything about that and just figured I was stuck with it (and I’ve tried dozens and dozens of products from different brands and at many price points). I was concerned about the experiences some reviewers have had regarding rashes and breakouts, so I eased into using this slowly–tried it on my forearms first, and then just a small region of my face…never any problem, so I finally worked up to using this two or three times per week. It is a little too drying for me to use it every day. I’ve been using this cleanser for a couple of months and I like it a lot; my skin feels very clean and fresh after using it. I pretty much focus on the lower part of my face–cheeks, nose and chin and I avoid the region around my eyes. It is thick and feels a bit tingly; it foams up easily and rinses away easily. After the first few uses, I no longer bother using it on my forehead, since this area is very dry and pores are not a problem there, anyway. I use another, milder cleanser for my forehead and neck. Unexpectedly, I noticed that the appearance of the skin on my chin was slowly improving…the affected area is roughly half the size that it was before–I am hoping with continued use this problem that I have had for years and years finally resolves.Extremely pleased with this very reasonably priced product. I’m SO glad I tried this…I almost didn’t–it certainly doesn’t seem to work for everyone, but for me at least, it works great! I don’t use very much at a time, and the bottle is pretty big–it will probably take me quite a while to use it up, but I plan to buy several bottles to have on hand as a backup just in case.

I Love This Stuff!
I use both this cleanser and the Biore charcoal bar cleanser. I put this one in my shower and leave the bar by my bathroom sink to wash my face at the end of the day. I love the convenience of this liquid soap in a pump – it’s so much easier to use in the shower than a bar of soap is, lasts longer, and doesn’t get “gunky” like bar soap can.I like the cool feeling this gives your skin when you first apply it. After using it for a few months I don’t notice it as much as I used to, but occasionally it will still feel cool. It has stopped my breakouts for the most part, although that wasn’t a huge struggle for me prior to finding this. I don’t know if it really cleans your pores as well as it claims, but my face always feels squeaky clean after I use it. (The bar makes my face skin more squeaky, but I still get that feeling with this.) Like the bar soap, this has the little coarse bits in it so it gently exfoliates your skin while you wash. I find this to be less coarse – and therefore better for sensitive skin – than the Biore bar soap, but my skin isn’t ultra-sensitive to begin with. I haven’t noticed much of a scent with this or the bar. This seems to be a quick and easy way to get makeup and dirt off my face, leaving my skin feeling nice, clean, and soft. (As an aside, when I use astringent after washing my face with this, very little, if any, makeup remains on my face after I wash with this. The cotton ball is pretty clean and white – which doesn’t happen with some soaps/face cleansers.)Bottom line: I like how this makes my face feel soft and clean, but not stripped like many “purifiers” can. I like the coarse bits – they really make my skin feel deep-down clean. There are no anti-aging properties (there don’t claim to be any), so this is awesome for young skin. I’m going to have to continue jumping into my vat of anti-aging face creams, but that’s ok. ;)My daughter does have very sensitive skin and this is one of the few cleansers we both can use. She just says she has to wash gently.

This face wash is by far my favorite compared to any of the others I’ve tried, and that’s been a lot because of my finicky combo skin that gets random waves of breakouts.FIRST let me tell you the cooling sensation is so satisfying and refreshing, 10/10. It also has a really nice lather, both make you just feel like you’re getting a good clean.Tip: I like to apply a few min in during a hot shower once the pores open up, sometimes let it sit lathered on for a min if I feel like it needs an extra clean, and then once I rinse and step out the cooling effect hits and is dry within a couple minutes so you can finish your night/morning regimen.

Love it! Works for my skin type in all seasons so far – from humidity in Cairns, to snow in Mount Rainier. It removes the grease from my skin but doesn’t seem to dry it out. I’m not needing to use toner and moisturiser as well.
