Not great for rain
Bought this tent for one person. Holds a taller twin air mattress, but it pushes against the sides in several areas. Iâm baffled that some people are getting a queen inside. Super easy to put up and take down and fits right back into the bag. My only complaint is the tiny rainfly. Camped in storms recently and thankfully a friend had a cover we could put over it. The rainfly barely covers the vents at the top. With any wind blowing the rain, it was easily going inside. Wish I could find a better rainfly. Having to put this under a canopy or pop up when raining kind of defeats the purpose of having an easy tent to put up and take down.

Easiest to set up/take down I’ve ever used
I only set it up inside so far, just to check for broken/missing parts and rips. I might adjust my rating if anything falls short once I use it (soon). I am faithful about updating reviews once I post one so if this one remains unedited, assume the tent is holding up just fine! It’ll get heavy use this winter. At it’s price, even if I had to replace it every year, or couple/few years, I’m not sure I’d complain though.So far it is the easiest/quickest tent to set up that I’ve owned. A literal 5 minute or less set up and take down. It even fits back in its bag without having to sumo wrestle it or pay special attention to how I was folding it back up. The bag also has some compression type straps on it, that’s a nice addition.I purchased it for backpacking. It’s a bit large and heavy for that purpose. I even ordered a second lighter tent after realizing that. After seeing how easy it is to set up and take down though I think I’ll deal with the weight, it’s still far from heavy. It wont fit in my bag but straps to the bottom of it nicely.Nothing appeared broken, ripped, missing or in poor shape. I plan on bringing some seam sealer with me on the first real set up just to help waterproof it as much as I can. I saw some concerning reviews related to that.The bottom of it didn’t feel as thick/sturdy as some of my (much) older tents. Materials could have just improved in that time frame. I haven’t bought a tent in ages. If I had to point something out though, that is the only thing that comes to mind. I’ll see how well it holds up.

I like this tent, and I will use it carefully and gently. It is so easy to set up as easy to use as an umbrella!!!!. The general engineering is great, and they should have thought of this years ago!!!!!! If more established high quality tent manufacturers would start making more instant tents with stronger mechanisms and fabrics I think they would be a hit. Since I have owned other well made tents in the past I have something to compare this too. I think other reviewers have been a bit too enthusiastic. I can tell that this tent’s fabric is very thin and might rip if one does not take it down or put it up carefully. I just set it up in my living room as a test run so i did not test its durability and rain. wind resistance outdoors yet. I really do like it in terms of its size and set up so I am going to keep it and us some rain uv spray water proof stuff on it. From reading other reviews I think Im going to be extra careful when setting it up and taking it down to engage and release the plastic joints carefully with my hands so they do not snap and break, and make sure one of the poles does not poke through any part of the fabric. If it was more durable i would give it 5 stars. it is a low price tent, and even though right now I am very happy, I can only give it 3 stars because considering if it breaks, then the money is wasted and then i will not be happy. Also don’t we have enough plastic garbage in our land fills already? So I hope i can make it last. One more thing, to correct one of the question and answers where someone asks if it is totally seal-able. I also wanted a tent with zippered vents that could be closed and controlled, like an old tent i had in past. That is hard to find in any tent This tent is not totally seal-able from air flow, and does have meshed vents on the top that are open all the time–probably for safety purposes. But it is almost totally seal-ble enough because those vents are not huge and very close to the rain fly. Like the answer above did say, the doors of course do totally close if you zip up over the door mesh screens. But that answer did not tell us about the roof vents that are always open. But those vents are like two smaller triangles so it is not like where the entire top is open under the rainfly like many other tents i have seen. It is easy enough to put something to cover them and I might glue on some Velcro and make my own removable adjustable roof vent cover. On the flip side, If camping in a very hot place this tent might be hotter than others since it does not have big vents on the roof and the main bigger vents are the two doors on opposite side of the tent as previously described. The remaining two sides of the tent without doors are just fabric walls alone with no windows. Two doors are great for easy entrance and exit without waking up someone sleeping next to you, more so than just a tent with one door. As far as rain, it might be ok, The bottom is very thin. I would definitely use a tarp under it. also I have another bigger rain fly from an older tent i think it might be easy to add that one on the top of this tent. So I’m going to make this one work since it is so simple to set up. I think if im careful it will not brake and be worth the money. I will update my review if it brakes.

I set the tent up improximately improximately 1 minute The tent surprised me in the way it was designed and the way it works I am very very satisfied with what I have I can’t wait to try it in the rain to see how waterproof it isI would definitely recommend this for anyone else

Besser als jedes PopUp-/Wurf-Zelt. Einfach Gestell hochziehen und es steht schon, mit den Heringen befestigen und fertig. Für zwei Personen wirklich ausreichend, man kann auch zu dritt darin schlafen.Eher für den Sommer bzw. warme Nächte geeignet, oder man nimmt einen ordentlichen Schlafsack und Decken mit. Das Zelt ist nämlich gut belüftet.Wirklich stabiles Zelt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Top Preis-Leistung.

I purchased this tent for my 12 year old son and his friend to experience camping for the first time. I can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations in its quality and delivery, the instructions which are very conveniently part of the carry case (so can’t be lost or blow away) are diagrammatic and easy to follow. To say it’s easy to put up is an understatement, but having had experience of trying to put away a cheap pop up beach shelter, it was the packing away I was most impressed with, it was as easy as putting it up and was literally 2 minutes, most of which was making sure the air had expelled to pack away neatly in the carry case.Having purchased this for my son I will certainly now be using it my self as a festival/weekend tent.
