UPDATE: I was gifted the new iPhone 16 Pro and discovered that Apple has changed the size of the charging port. Now one size charges both Android and this phone. Unless an adaptor is available, the cord to connect this battery to the phone isn’t correct.I also bought an iPhone case that had the magnetic ring on the backside as I anticipated that it would work better. I charged the battery to 100% (took about 45 min.) and then it attached to the backside of the phone.It charged up my iPhone 12 mini in very quickly and I was impressed how well it does. The weight isn’t bad and fits nice and snug while it’s attached to my phone. It doesn’t interfere with my camera either.If you’re thinking about getting this, I would suggest that you get a case that supports the magnetic charging.

As described, but only worked for 2 cycles.
This product worked for me through 2 charging cycles and then stopped working. It only charges to 7% now. I wanted to love it because it was really functional and a good deal – but it no longer works. 🙁

No mag charge
Good but I made the mistake of thinking this was a mag charge. It’s only magnetic to stick on your phone while you charge by the cable. There’s a hole in there that I think is for a type C adapter but unfortunately it doesn’t come with one.

I have a couple different Charmast power banks. They make various sizes and have units with various features. This particular unit is aimed at Apple products that have a Lightening connector. However, it can be used with USB-C devices via the included cable.The small size means the battery capacity is limited – 5000 mAh. This will impart roughly 3500 to 4000 mAh to your device once losses are taken into account. In other words, this will top up most phones, providing the better part of a single charge. It does have the added features of MagSafe attachment and a built in cord. The cord is smartly designed to act as a carrying loop. The end connector fits snugly into a socket on the end of the power bank, proving a cable loop that can be used as a carrying handle.To each side of the cable are ports. One is a Lightening port for charging the unit. The second port is USB-C that is a bi-directional port. It can be used for charging the unit and as an output for charging devices. This port is capable of PD 20 Watt fast charging. The power bank has a power button on one edge and a small screen on the other. The screen gives a readout of the battery percent. Better than just having 3 or 4 tiny LEDs for battery level indication.If you want to charge up laptops or multiple devices or charge multiple times, look for a higher capacity (bigger, heavier, bulkier) power bank. If you want a small, lightweight, single use portable emergency charger with a built in Lightening cable and MagSafe attachment, then this is the unit you want.

The greatest chargers for phones that need to be used on-the-go are these MagSafe models. The basic idea is to pull out the end of the cable that corresponds to the port you want to charge and insert it into the device. The power bank has three USB-C ports and one Lightning port in total. Only one of those four ports is exclusively for input; the other three can be used for output or input.It has a digital display that shows the charge level as a percentage. The MagSafe connection seems strong enough for practical use. It should be noted and you must acknowledge before purchasing that this power bank IS NOT CHARGED THROUGH MAGSAFE. It is simply a power bank that utilizes a cable charger however has the ability to adhere to a magsafe case to combat the issue of having to carry your phone and power bank separately. The wired charging connection seems to work quite fast, however, it also drains the charge in the power bank quite fast. In fact, the battery of the power bank drains too fast, through testing I was only able to get around 1 full charge with my iPhone 14 Pro (battery health 87% with entertainment apps like TikTok and Netflix accounting for 50% of battery usage). However i was actively using my phone while it was charging, so I could see this product being able to charge 1 1/2 full charges if the phone was powered off. For 5000mAh It does it’s job as the iPhone 14 pro has a 3200mAh battery (mine probably not being able to reach that potential however due to lower battery health). This is a perfect product for anyone looking for a simple quick small charge that has self-control and aren’t looking to constantly be using their phone while charging. If you’re looking for something that’s going to be used on a road trip or camping that requires constant quick and effective charging for multiple uses, look for something higher in mAh (milliampere per hour). It’s important to understand what battery pack you’re looking for and research them before purchasing! This product’s key details are its great for casual use, practical, fast, and super convenient to carry with you as its lightweight and adheres with magsafe. Just be sure you know what you’re getting before buying.
