WHAT YOU GET: Circulon hybrid clad stainless steel 10-inch and 8.5-inch nonstick frying pans
THE BEST OF CLAD AND NONSTICK: At Circulon, we know cookware and we constantly push the limits. After 35 years of innovation, clad cookware takes the next step with Circulon SteelShield Clad Tri-Ply. Our stainless steel and nonstick hybrid surface means no more scrubbing steel, and no more scratched or flaking nonstick. All with exceptional results.
WHAT IS STEELSHIELD: Circulon SteelShield pots and pans are the first to feature stainless steel circles raised above a premium nonstick finish for the most versatile and durable cookware surface yet. Use any kitchen spoon or spatula on hand to flip, fry, and even scrape the innovative SteelShield rings. On our frying pans, the rings extend up the side walls for even more surface protection. Metal utensils? Bring it on.
WHY COOK ON A HYBRID SURFACE? The elevated rings are there to protect the nonstick from scratches while also delivering a great sear. Paired with a splash of oil, you can finally get delicate foods like scallops to sear and release beautifully or perfectly crisp salmon skin with less sticking than other stainless steel pans.
PRECISION AND DURABILITY: With ultra durable clad construction throughout the entire pan, Circulon SteelShield Clad Tri-Ply means unrivaled heat control and maximum durability. Plus, the pots and pans are easy enough to hand wash (you’ll thank us for the flat nonstick rivets!) or just throw them in the dishwasher.
Customers say
Customers find these sauté pans to be of high quality, sturdy, and nice-looking, with good cooking performance and even heat distribution. The pans are heavy, with one customer noting they’re less than half the weight of cast iron. However, customers disagree on how easy they are to clean, with some finding them very easy to clean while others say they’re extremely hard to clean. The non-stick surface receives mixed reviews, with several customers reporting that food sticks to the bottom.

Great quality!
This was a gift from my husband, and after tossing out our old cookware set (due to scratched up nonstick surfaces), this set was so needed! I love how easy it is to wash the pans, and everything cooks very evenly. The set stacks perfectly in our cabinets and is very high quality. I like that the larger deep skillet has the additional side handle, since it is a heavier pan.

I’m happy with this set
Several reasons I bought this C-Series set:1) Tri-ply cladding that works with my induction range.2) Inexpensive, especially compared to more heavily advertised sets like Made In and Hexclad, etc.3) Hybrid non-stick design.4) The S-shaped handles on the lids stand out from the usual.I’ve been satisfied with all on that list so far. These are heavier than single-ply stainless due to the cladding, yet less than half the weight of cast iron. For example, the 8.5″ pan weighs 25 oz, compared to 57 oz for my 8.5″ cast iron pan.The frying pans work well. The hybrid design incorporating steel ridges interspersed with nonstick rings sears well. It’s hard to tell whether it’s my imagination, yet seared foods taste better compared with my previous pan.Having used non-stick cookware before, it’s easy to see how this design will preserve and protect the coating from getting scratched. The cladding has this set heating very quickly and evenly on my induction range. I can’t compare this set to 5-ply functionality, yet can’t extrapolate more than a tiny advantage to 5-ply designs (other than as an excuse to charge more). The lids fit perfectly. They include neither vent holes in the glass nor strainers in the metal lips.—If you’re wondering, Circulon SteelShield has 2 options: C- and S-SeriesThe entire body of C-Series implements 3-ply cladding (stainless-aluminum-stainless) for quick and uniform heat distribution. The body of the S-Series is quite different – the 3-ply cladding is limited to a thick, impact-bonded base (stainless-aluminum-stainless). Look closely at the S-Series images and you’ll see the bonding line of the clad base. C-Series is lighter.C-Series heats faster, while the more massive S-Series retains heat longer. The rings that protect non-stick extend up the side wall of C-series, and not on S-Series.C-Series features polished stainless steel finish. flat rivets. S-Series has brushed/hairline finish.

Worst purchase ever!
I thought I was buying the Radiance Circulon Pans when I ordered these. I assume my part in making a terrible choice. I loved the last Radiance pans so much I wanted another set. However, I fail to see why these pans were produced and what your suppose to cook in them. The ridges donât allow you to cook eggs, fried or scrambled. Thatâs why I rated them so low. I wasted my $70.00.

Pans arrived with scrached bottoms
Pan bottoms had marks and stains. No idea if they were abused

If your looking for full nonstick this isnât the line
So I was looking to replace my cusin*** nonstick induction DS pans which never really worked well on my induction range. I also have a full clad SS cal*** set but certain pans I use nonstick. I was going to buy hex*** set but after researching I decided on these at half the price Iâll explain why. First off I knew what I was getting into knowing fully well that this line of cookware was not fully nonstick and thatâs why I purchased them. I downsized my life and although I havenât given up my cal*** set yet I absolutely can. These pans are great especially if you have an induction range. I went with these over the Hex*** because of price . Nonstick donât last forever and if I need to replace these in 5-7 years 400 a lot better then 700-1000. Also in looking for reviews for the Hex*** the bad reviews online were buried due to great marketing but I did find them and if someone buys the hex*** to you for a gift they will not honor the warranty. Also there is a design on the bottom of the hex*** pans. I had this problem with cusin*** leaving the design marks on my stovetop being very hard to remove. These pans are fully clad and fantastic, they arenât too heavy but heavy enough for great heat distribution and control. They sear meats and clean up much easier than my fully clad SS set. Cooking on these are the same as Cooking on a SS set, heat pan , add fat, add food lower heat because of great distribution. Those of which who gave a negative review are not using the pans correctly as I said these are not fully nonstick so if thatâs what your looking for try a different line from this brand. I wanted something that would well work as on my induction range but a little easier to clean than my full SS cookware and thatâs what I got. If your looking for the type of cookware like hex*** your in the right place if your looking for a complete nonstick set of cookware this isnât the right choice for you. I got exactly what I was searching for a fully clad SS set ( I canât stand pots with the big plate on the bottom they just donât heat anything evenly that was the case with my cuisn*** set) which will sear meats, has great temperature control , works great on my induction range and incidentally every piece of this cookware is sized perfectly for the hobs on my induction range so every piece is useable. I couldnât ask for more. Plus they are really a nice looking set. Will they last? Only time will tell. They are also dishwasher safe and metal utensil friendly as long as they arenât sharp. Honestly though I will be hand washing them since they are very easy to clean and using the silicone utensils that I have always used. But the option is there if you choose. All in all great cookware set exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with my purchase.

After the first use, the pan’s stainless steel lines came off. Look at the video I attached. So this tells me it might not be real stainless steel but a coat that looks like it. The rest of the pans are fine and still looks great.Overall, I love them. They’re heavy, sturdy, doesn’t stick if you know how to use stainless steel, but could stick if you’re in a rush and aren’t properly heating the pans.
