Customers say
Customers find the cup holder easy to install and appreciate it as a perfect addition to Clek car seats, working well in both forward and rear-facing positions. The durability receives mixed feedback – while some find it sturdy, others report it falls off often. The fit and quality are also mixed, with some saying it fits securely while others mention it doesn’t fit in rear seatbelt install, and some consider it a good cupholder while others find it terrible. Customers consider the price unreasonable and report issues with it popping out during entry and exit.

Great Cupholder for Clek Car Seat
This is a good cupholder and it is a good thing too, because this is the only cupholder available for the Clek. It is ridiculous that the car seat itself doesn’t already come with cupholders but I knew that when i purchased it. As far as these clip on cupholders, they work better than you’d think. They are very stable and feel quality for being plastic. They clip on and off easily but still manage to stay secured to the car seat when needed. I find myself putting my extra drinks in my kids car seat cupholders because they are so good instead of using the car cupholders. If you have a Clek seat and need cupholders, buy a pair of these.

10 seconds to install. Matches Foonf perfectly.
10 seconds to install. Matches Foonf perfectly.I’m not sure why any of the other reviews mentioned it being difficult to install. I can’t comment on the instructions because I never looked at them. It literally takes ten second to install if you consider the obvious:-the bracket that accepts the drink cup itself must obviously have the drink cup clip “down” into it so that it can hold a cup of liquid, so there’s only one obvious orientation for it-there are two brackets that come with the cup, one for each side of the seat, since both only have one possible “up” orientation, it’s just a matter of which one fits the shape of the side you’re trying to install it on (they are not symmetrical)-there is a little tab on the bracket that gets inserted into a slot in the car seat that you would never notice unless you are looking for it, just look from below (or remove your seat from the vehicle and tip it on its side), you simple insert that tab and press the bracket into the oblong hole in the side of the seat.It looks great, matches the white plastic of our foonf perfectly and doesn’t look like an afterthought or something that will attract the attention of a toddler to try to mess with it.I agree with others that it should be a little cheaper (it should be ~$10 not ~$20) but it’s not that bad when you consider it costs less than 5% of the price of the Foonf.I was worried that it would be too low and out of the way for our 2 year old to reach, it is not.

Doesn’t fit in rear seatbelt install.
Our cup holder will not click into the foonf seat in the rear facing position secured with the seatbelt installed through the seat. It is useless for us because it falls out and won’t hold a drink :-(. Good idea but not designed for the over 25 lb rear facing installation. With that said, we LOVE our foonf seat. By far the best designed seat we have ever owned and we are previous owners of 5 different seats.

a little disappointed with this — it is an easy install
a little disappointed with this — it is an easy install, but depending on the set up of your vehicle this may or may not work for you. Due to it sticking out so far off the side of the car seat we cannot use it in either position. The carseat is currently positioned rearfacing in an outboard seat with an infant seat next to it in the middle seat. If we put the cup holder on the outside of the seat (next to the exterior door) the door won’t close. If we put it on the inside, the infant seat wont fit. So until we upgrade from an infant seat to another outboard convertible seat for baby 2, we won’t be able to use the cup holder

broke easily
ridiculous price to pay for something that should be standard on a car seat this expensive! It came off repeatedly until it broke of after six months. Unusable now.

It works fine for forward facing installation as a no frills cup holder.
It will work fine in forward facing positions. Simple cup design. Installing is easy. The item is pricy. In rear facing positions the seatbelt (if you are using that method of attachment) interferes with a secure attachment of the drink thingy. Installing the drink thing when the seat is facing forward is secure and easy.Placement. For my child, the placement for his reach is good. Simple cup design with no additional means to secure an item within it. This is fine for shorter cups and beverages but not very suitable for larger and taller items.Installation is easy. The kit comes with two brackets to hold the cup holder in place. One for the right side and the other for the left side. Simply insert the appropriately marked bracket into the corresponding seat belt pass through hole on the side, insert the tab into the hole and snap into place, and attach the cup.For a cup with all these design limitations I found the price a bit high. I was surprised that for such an expensive premium seat that this was not included. The pieces are relatively complex and since two brackets are included the molds to make them were probably not cheap and being an expensive seat, Clek is probably not selling to many to offset the cost to produce them, and with the price as it is, I imagine many Clek owners would choose to do without, further exacerbating the issue. I believe Clek could have fixed this by foregoing the brackets and mounded the two cup attachment points directly onto the shell of the seat.

Awkward placement
We love our Foonf car seat, but the cupholder is sub par. For such a well designed car seat, the cup holder is really poor design. When the kid is in the car seat, it’s really difficult for them to reach the holder. It’s kind of too far behind them and their arms just don’t bend that way. It’s really too bad for such an expensive piece of plastic, that is does not function well.

Solution to my problem!
I purchased a new car that was larger than the last one so there was now room for cup holders. My Clek Fllos were expensive, so did not want to purchase new car seats just for the cupholders. This was the perfect solution. Took a little bit of time to figure out how they went on, but once on they are very sturdy and strong. Would highly recommend purchasing these.

I have one for both car seats! Great for longer trips to let kids have access to their water! Easy set up and removal if required and fits on outside of car seats so middle seat is still usable in our car!

Convenient size, fits most kids drink containers. Easy to install.Don’t forget to remove it before folding down the seat beside… it sticks out pretty far and can be knocked off.

I think it’s supposed to be more secure than it is. Toddler popped the whole thing out of the seat less than an hour after installing it.

It’s fine, considering how well made and sturdy the car seats are this thing isn’t clipped on with the same caliber. It’s quite easy to knock loose. Otherwise it does the job. Seems like it was a bit of an afterthought tho. It’s like a cup holder on a European car.
