Great value and tent
I was looking for a high quality tent that my family could go camping in. I have a small two person tent already but needed a 4 person tent that didnât break the bank, but would also keep us dry. This tent delivered. Very well made, came with everything you need. Easy to assemble and travel with. Perfect for a family with small kids. Might be a bit cramped if you have 4 adults or 2 adults and larger kids.

Better options but not bad.
The 4 person is competitively priced for a starter tent, but the 6 person is currently overpriced in my option. This is easy to set up for 2 people, but kind of a pain for just one. Disappointing for such a small tent. The quality is what I would expect for a starter tent. Definitely for warmer months and won’t hold out the cold. It does fold very small, one of the benefits of it being something other than an instant tent.

Great Tent!
This tent is robust and a good size. I would say it fits two comfortably for car camping, or 3 if you want to be very close together. This is the same for all tents rated for 4 people. I wanted this tent as I wanted a nice car camping tent for 2 people, and this tent 100% does that. Due to the weight of the tent, this is a car camping tent and not a backpacking tent. It is very well made with some nice add ons such as a gear storage attic and an interior hook at the top inside for a tent light. The rainfly is partial and attaches on with plastic hooks to the key-ring like loops where the poles attach. This tent has a heavy duty tarp-like bottom which enables you to use it without a ground cover, if desired. Personally, I always use a ground cover regardless to extend the life of the tent, but I like that this tent has a heavy duty floor. There is one door and one window in the tent. The door also has a window that zips open with screen, as does the other window. The other 2 sides have mesh screens that are sheltered (from rain and also provide privacy) if you put the rain fly up. The open mesh and windows provide good ventilation. The door also has a zipper cover around the doorway which is nice. The tent is relatively easy to put up. 2-pole designs are nice that way. While this tent can be put up with one person (I did it this way), it is much, much easier to put up the tent with another person. This tent has tent pole sleeves on the top and two tent clips to hold the poles lower down towards the ground. The sleeves can make it more difficult to set up with one person, but with a little finagling, it can be done successfully. This style of tent is identical to my 6-person Coleman model which I find very robust. I am happy to have a similar 4-person tent for use this camping season!

Very basic tent
This is a very basic 4-person tent, very similar to the cheapest one at the “W” big box store. Perfectly fine for occasional camping, and fits my family of 2 adults and 2 kids (a bit cramped, but not too bad). The price is a bit more than the last one I bought, but maybe that’s the going rate these days. If you’re a casual camper, this is a great option. If you’re doing some more serious camping, you might want to look at other options.

Not a bad bargain tent, but not competitively priced
It’s a decent tent. Quick and easy to set up with just 1 person (took me about 10 minutes and that was because I forgot to put the pins into the pole ends and had to start over)I can see it fitting 4 adults under 6 feet tall comfortably. Anything more than that and you won’t be able to stretch out. However, compared to other camping brands that are known to have quality items, the price of this just really isn’t competitive enough. This tent is obviously not at the same quality as those others, so you may be better off spending a few extra dollars going with a trusted brand.

Good value tent
We only used this in the backyard so cant say if it would work for really rugged camping but it wasn’t too hard to set up, seemed well made. Can’t say if it was waterproof as it didn’t rain. I would say its more of a 2 person tent but that depends on how big the people are. Overall, solid value.

I Liked It Until It Leaked
I liked this tent quite a bit until it rained hard and water leaked in. The tent didn’t flood, but there was enough water to get a sleeping bag wet and make someone’s night uncomfortable. Before the leak, I was pleased with this tent. While it’s not rugged camping gear, it’s well thought out, easy to set up, and it creates a nice airy space. When I first got the tent I sprayed it with a waterproofing/UV protective spray, paying special attention to the seams. I’ve used this same waterproofing spray on all my tents and this is the first time a tent I’ve used it on has leaked. The poles are lighter than some, but they are flexible and, when the tent is set up right and well staked down (with stronger stakes than the ones that come with it), they would keep it stable through a summer storm. The tent comes with lightweight, entry-level aluminum stakes and, as usually happens with that kind of stake, one bent and became useless. Luckily I had some heavier spares. The fabric of the tent is sufficient and the stitching is good. The zippers slide easily and seem like they will hold up under reasonable use. The top and upper half of the sides are made of mesh and the tent fly comes down lower than the mesh to keep rain out. This design lets air flow through the tent even if it’s raining. There is an arc-shaped window in the front door and another on the back wall. Each has two zippers which allow the window to be open with the fabric at various angles so the occupant can block the sun while allowing as much air in as possible. This is my favorite window design for a tent. One shortcoming is the floor of the tent is made out of a plastic woven material that’s somehow bonded together to form a waterproof surface. In my experience, this type of material wears out faster than the normal tarp-like floor ;the weaving starts to come apart and starts to leak.If it wasn’t for the rain coming in, this would be a fine tent for festivals or short camping trips. It’s not rugged, but it’s not junk. It has room for two people who don’t have a ton of stuff and it would be a good size for one person. It’s just tall enough for me, at 5’2″, to stand up in it. Taller people couldn’t stand up, but it’s tall enough for most people to get dressed in easily.Since I already own it, I plan to cover this tent with a tarp and use it for equipment storage or as a fair weather guest tent. I also may buy some seam tape or dedicated seam sealer and see if I can fix the leak problem. I’ll update this review if I succeed. As it stands now, I do not recommend this tent because it leaked.
