Customers say
Customers find the sleeping bag spacious with plenty of lateral leg room, and appreciate its generous insulation that keeps them warm even in zero-degree temperatures. They describe it as comfortable, well-designed, and good value for money, particularly for car camping. While some customers find it not too heavy, others note it’s heavy and bulky, and while it works well for car camping, it’s not suitable for backpacking.

Roomy soft cozy bag!
Decided to add this 15 rated bag to my 40 rated bag for good measure. Roomy enough that I can slip this over my current bag for extra warmth when needed.Nice quality, well made, smooth zippers. Extra padding at the feet. Plenty of room for side sleepers. I love the top for when I want to tuck inside more. Hard to stuff back in its sack but whats new. Just have to squeeze/roll it then sit on it and strategically slide it back in. Did it without tooooo much effort. I imagine it will serve me for years to come.

Really big not for backpackers , I use it in my vehicle.
Would buy it again, itâs comfortable and huge. I can wear clothes when Iâm inside the bag and move around without the bag clinging to me. Itâs not small for backpacking I use it in my vehicle. Itâs rated as 15 degree bag but weather sometimes was 0 degrees and was still comfortable and warm with a few extra layers on me.I love the color too the inside and outside.I I tried rolling it but itâs pretty thick . I definitely recommend it I bought three different sleeping bags I returned 2, I kept the third one which was rated at 30 degrees I might need it in the future when it warms up. So the fourth which is this one COLEMAN is AMAZING.
SIZE MATTER’S –
THE #1 TOP FEATURE/BENEFIT.
At 32 degrees freezing & way below; the (hand size Velcro strap or whatever u wanna call it) at the left shoulder area; money can’t buy. It allows us to keep bag closed yet stick an entire arm/hand out. This is a rare unique major advantageous game changer in deadly hypothermia temps, & my primary reason for not buying other model’s. Theirs plenty of room for a pillow, & the pull cords to the right of our head allows for wonderful sealing around our face for heat retention & magnification/escalation. This bag & me are hottest when I’m nude since it magnifies body heat. Because “clothing” restricts/slows/hinders (body heat) from escaping into the bag where it can be magnified quickly. “Wearing clothes” is not your friend if/when you want to be warmer/hotter in this bag since this bag is so effective. But WOW getting NAKID in the ice & snow before getting into the bag makes me dance like a 64 year old Michael Jackson ðº with a shocked and dazed tallywhacker ð¥ wondering what in the heck fire is this fool doing to me ð³ð¤

Pretty darn good
I’ve now camped with this bag through two seasons one with a short-haired dog, and one without. Firstly, when I got the bag originally, I wanted to test it in the dead of winter. So, on a night it was going to be hovering around 32, I set up in my SUV and camped in said SUV. In the bag with a pair of cheap long underwear, a pair of socks, and a hat, I was warm enough through the night. If I moved around, I’d get coldish (I don’t take up all the room in the bag at 5’6 and 200 (I just like my space, and this one fits the bill perfectly)). That next camping season, it served me well, and I was nice and toasty in the middle of July at 10,000+ feet when the morning had frost on the ground.Since then, I’ve adopted a shivery cutie of a pit bull who gets cold easily. So, this camping season, I’ve been sleeping with the bag unzipped completely and over us both, and haven’t been testing the lower limits. A few weekends ago we were up over 10,000ft again and one night it got down to the high 40s (49ish probably), and I was fluctuating between being a bit chilly and okay using it as a blanket. I eventually covered the dog and I with an additional blanket just to make sure she’d stay warm enough overnight. I will say that, as a Coloradan, this bag gets too warm for overnight temperatures much over about 55-60 with it zipped up if one is used to colder climates and sleeping colder. Were I not spending my time camping in places with radical temperature swings or overall colder climates, I’d probably get a warmer weather bag for nights that don’t get as cold.

Huge
This bag arrived yesterday, I unpacked it and climbed in simply to test. I felt like a kid again, in that I actually fit into the bag. At 6’6, I’ve never fit into a sleeping bag properly. Even blankets and comforters rarely cover my shoulders and my feet to a degree I’d like. In this thing, I could fit a pillow and pull the opening tight around my face. I could certainly see using it in 0 degree weather with a bit of preparation. It’s also super wide, way too wide for my skinny self and I know that can create issues in low temps, hot air has a tendency of rising and pulling cold air into it’s place. I’d have to tuck that extra bit under me or fill it with something to keep warm in very, very cold conditions. Along with being wide, this bag is also large. Even in the stuff sack, it would take up most of my 44 litre backpack if I took it hiking. Still, it’s light enough that I don’t mind strapping it onto the bottom. The fabric is nice enough for a super low temp bag. It’s all waterproof slippery shiny stuff. Makes a bit more noise when I move around in it but I know even the inside is waterproof. The bottom is something else, an insulated foot spot, which is nice because my feet like to get cold and I love sleeping without socks. It has a nice shine to it, looking a bit better than the pictures on the site give it credit for. The zippers are the same as every other Coleman bag I’ve owned. I can tell they tried to make them snag proof but they’re more snag-resistant. You’ll have to be careful zipping it up, especially from the inside and it took me about a minute to zip it up fully the first time.I was hesitant about this bag because of the reviews. Some reviewers mentioned the bag not being warm enough. Either those folks were sleeping with a sack of ice or they didn’t understand proper sleeping bag care. It comes tightly rolled in it’s stuff sack, any bag takes a while to regain it’s loft so take it out when you get it and hang it up or lay it somewhere, this is proper care for any sleeping bag, don’t store it in the sack, hang it up in your closet. I could also see it losing loft while in a stuff sack on long trips so give it as much time as you can out of the sack if you take this bag on the trail.I’ll give it four stars, for the bag’s flaws, it’s the first I’ve ever fit into since becoming an adult. It’s summer now so I’ll come back in the winter, after some hearty testing if my opinion changes.Edit: After using this bag for summer backpacking along the continental divide with nights in the low 40s, I find it perfectly suitable. I slept in my shorts in the bag, without thermals or the usual camp sleeping attire. I curled up in the center of the bag and slept in darkness even after the sun came up, only awakened by the morning’s warmth and a dull red glow through the bag’s lining. If it weren’t so bulky, this sleeping bag would be perfect.

Awesome bag, super long and big enough for me to move around in without getting tangled up. Kept me cozy and warm in a rainstorm with 5 degree C weather. I am 6 foot and with feet touching bottom was well over my head! It also has a great drawstring around head which also helped keep the warmth in. Overall very well constructed. It is a very large bag however, wouldn’t recommend for a hike in camping trip. It is slightly tapered at bottom which would help keep more warmth in. Didn’t notice till we got home that the bottom foot or so is flannel lined but rest is not as I used a liner. The zipper seems to be really heavy duty which is great. It does not completely unzip, but there is a zipper at the bottom of feet I guess for ventilation. No way I could get it back in bivy bag, but that’s not an issue. I keep it rolled with bungee straps anyway!

Just the best night’s sleep you can have comma initially I tried to put it in its stuff sack by folding it and rolling it and that does not work you have to literally stuff it in the bag to get it in but what a fantastic night sleep, it’s awesome.

I took this Beautiful Coleman sleeping bag out of the box, it is massive but light when you carry it in your arms and inside it beautiful to be there and warm.It is very warm even with a tshirt inside. It is massive, enormous but I love it.I am 5ft6 and I like the sleeping bag big but Amazon product description says it can fit big and tall 6ft. 6 in. It is not too big for me.I know at least it will fit me or someone bigger and taller.I love the material and it seems to be of excellent quality, very well made.I could close the hood with ease once inside, I could feel the warmth even on my forehead. That is how warm it is.Personally I like the zip on this Coleman sleeping bag being on its left handside despite being righthanded. The zips do not catch, they are strong.I did not try to completely open the sleeping bag because I think in theory it could be done and then I would have a massive warm duvet as a cover. But I did not want to unzip it all completely and then find out I had difficulties zipping it back up again. The inside of the feet area is very warm and is red.I could fit the sleeping bag inside the bag it came in within 8 minutes I would say.The way I received it, is the hole width along its length was folded in half and then rolled inside the bag.So I copied that exactly.I folded the sleeping bag in half ie from left to right shoulder, then I rolled the sleeping bag from the feet area toward the hood, by pressing the sleeping bag as I rolled in towards the sofa. Then I put it under my right arm, but the biggest part ie where the hood was too big to put in first inside the bag.So I inserted the smaller side first and little by little pushed it in rolling the bag also.About midway I pulled in the remaining bag so that it would be tight on its end ( as I had difficulties pushing the rest of the sleeping bag in) and then it was easier to put the sleeping bag inside its bag.I am so happy with this sleeping bag. Warm. Of great quality. It is mine.
