Customers say
Customers find the tent extremely easy to set up and appreciate its spacious interior that accommodates up to four people comfortably. The dark room technology works effectively, and they like how it keeps the interior cooler than other tents. The durability and sturdiness receive mixed reviews – while some say it stands up to strong winds and keeps everything dry, others report issues with poles breaking and water pooling on the floor. The rain protection also gets mixed feedback, with some praising the screened porch while others note it’s not rainproof.

FINALLY I was able to try it out.
Took almost a year … or it was a year, but I finally for to use this at our favorite spot in Ludington, MI.It is not as dark as I hoped, but it was darker than the other coleman tent we have and I did get to sleep in later. The area to bring in a power supply is small you almost have to tear it open.Suggestions:Buy a tarp for under the tent to help with keeping dirt off the bottom and from inside the tent… it makes for an easier pack up too. Added benefit is it keeps debris from poking through tent and the air mattress.Start with the screened in awning at the front. When all put together, doing that last is a herculean task.If using said air mattress, use a high quality low profile one. There won’t be a lot of top room otherwise.Leave the back flap of the top cover down when facing the back against dunes…. cold air off the lake sweeps over the dunes down to the tent up the sides and right on to your sorry sleeping butt. If you don’t have enough blankets… you are going to wish you had a tauntaun or that you could turn your partner into a tauntaun.Likes:Screened in awning. It is not big enough to have a regular fold out chair. It will fit a three legged triangle chair perfectly. I used this as an area to put on my shoes and store wet items. It has a mesh strip on the floor where sand and dirt easily falls out of.This is an extra layer of defense from letting dirt and sand get in the main tent.*Suggestion*Easy “porch” cleanup if using a electric inflater for the mattress. When packing up open the porch curtains and use the blowing option on the inflater to blow any extra sand out before packing up the tent if you don’t have a portable vacuum. This is a solid tent 10/10 but hope I have it long enough I don’t need to buy another… although, could always go bigger…Nah, I’ll be good.

Great tent for car camping
As an ultralight backpacker, I generally have avoided Coleman products because they tend to feel cheap and are heavy. But I’ve been getting into car camping, so weight is not that big of a problem. In addition to the size of the tent, I also wanted a screened in porch area. I looked at the 4 person Carlsbad, and I don’t think that porch is big enough to be able to sit in if I’m in a buggy area. This one probably is.What I liked:-The “dark room technology” is nice. I don’t know that the “90% darker” is real, but it is distinctly darker than my other tents. I tend to wake up when the sun comes up, so this allowed a little bit of sleeping in.-The fast-pitch option is great because you don’t have to thread anything, just clip the tent to the poles. It is fast and convenient to pitch and tear down. What I didn’t like:-As others have said, there is no rain protection for the porch. There is a strip of screen next to the tent to allow the porch to drain, but it still is exposed. I will probably look for a tarp or something to be able to make it waterproof. But Coleman should have done this already (or come up with a decent add on option).-Good luck rolling it back up and getting it into the bag. There is the expansion, which I haven’t tried opening up yet (it’s permanent, as best as I can tell).Overall, I’ll get some mileage on this. It’ll be a good option for car camping and glamping.

The screened in porch is awesome!
Best Feature: I love the screened in porch option on this tent. I helps keep dirt, mud and bugs out of the sleeping area of the tent.We were able to fit a full size blowup mattress, foldable table and overnight bags plus two campers with no problems! It is easy to set up with one person BUT I did have some difficulty with the pole that holds up the screened in porch so I had to ask for assistance from a fellow camper. I am hoping that after the initial set up, this will get easier to hook into the holder with use. Take down is super easy and I was able to fit it back in the bag without ripping off the expansion tag.I wish the back window had a zipper for privacy like the side windows but since the back window is WIDE OPEN, we opted to use the rain cover even though it was a gorgeous weekend so you couldn’t see directly into the tent. The cover makes the airflow/ventilation a little stuffy so we used a camping fan to keep the air moving around at night.

Easy Set-up & Comfortable
Easy to set-up with two people (even in the dark).Stayed comfortable, dark and warm inside the tent in 30-40 degree weather with the rain fly on. Note that we also used a reflective mat under the tent for extra warmth.Comfortably fit two single cots. However, there was very little room leftover and would not be able to accommodate a third cot or sleeping bag. We also kept our bags in the screened in porch to maximize walking space inside the tent. One con: You cannot store things in the screened in porch if the forecast calls for rain as the screened in porch is not covered by the rain fly.Very easy to take down and store in the carrying case, no tears in the screen or flooring.Overall, weâre happy with the tent and are excited to try in next in the summer.

Práctica, de buen tamaño! Me encanto.

Fast fixing it up but material quite fragile so must handle with care. Tent entrance need to face wind direction to have more cooling effect since there is only one entrance. Awesome space for 6p tent and no regret buying it.
