Enjoy additional support and cushioning with the Coleman Self-Inflating Camping Pad with Pillow. This camping sleeping pad features a comfy tufted design that adds an extra layer of padding between your sleeping bag and the ground. Equipped with a free-flow valve, the sleeping pad self-inflates with no air pump needed. Simply roll it out and open the valve, and the pad will begin inflating. When it’s time to pack up, reopen the valve and push the air out using the compression straps. Thanks to its durable, weather-resistant polyester shell, this camping sleeping pad can endure night after night of use.

Customers say
Customers find the air mattress incredibly comfortable, allowing for a deeper slumber, and appreciate its build quality with a tough nylon shell. The mattress is easy to set up in about 2-3 minutes and works well for both camping and home use. While some customers say it inflates easily by itself, others report it takes a while to fully inflate, and though it fits easily in gear bags, some find it too heavy for serious backpacking. Customers consider it well worth the money.

I love this pad, worth every penny!
I LOVE this pad! I have one something like this, that I have had for years, and I have been looking for another. The one I have is not ‘self inflating’, as this one is and the cap is detatched with a plug that goes in first. This pad WILL auto inflate, though I did blow a little (three or four breaths) air into it to puff it up. The cap is very unique and stays on the fill spout, it just loosens to allow air in and out. It won’t ever get lost and there is no separate plug /cork. I’ve had the other pad for about 15 years and the rubber plug is getting cracked. This pad is amazingly comfortable! I had my daughter try it out and I then could not get her to get off of it !! I just ordered another one for her! We both are about 5’9″ and around 165 pounds. This pad does not compress under us. You never feel the floor / ground. It’s only about 2 inches thick when inflated. After 15 years, my other pad never leaked and I don’t believe that this one ever will. One great thing I love about these pads is that even if you are far from home and they did get punctured, they have enough internal padding that you would still have good comfort, even without air, so you are not totally screwed, as you are if you puncture an air mattess. The other BIG advantage to these pads over an air matress is that if you camp when/ where it gets cool/cold, a big mattress is exposed to the climate, it gets cold and wicks your body heat away. My sleeping bag drapes over the edge of this pad and seals the heat in. Nice and cozy, always! Also, absolutely NO AIR PUMP Required and pretty easy to deflate. You have to PRESS all the air out, not to tough to do, and it comes with compression straps to compact it. No stuff sack, but easy to make or buy one. I will make one, because I think it helps to protect and preserve the pad. The old pad has one and it’s lasted over 15 years. I WOULD NOT GO CAMPING WITHOUT THIS PAD! EVER! Highly recommended. It’s on my livingroom floor right now because we lay there to watch tv. Sets against the wall behind the couch, to get it in and out of the way in a hurry. Very convenient, and good for sleepovers too. I know it seems a bit pricey, but it is WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Surprisingly comfortable
I have an achy spine and need a LOT of comfort. This is surprisingly comfortable but I can only use it a couple nights. The kids love it. Itâs great for sleepovers!

Singe the edges!!
Everything is great about this product, except that the strap edges frayed immediately because they were never glued or singed. I highly recommend using a lighter to singe them. Otherwise, it’s awesome to have the pillow and straps built in. Very comfortable and durable

A Really Comfy Night’s Sleep.
I am a youth pastor and I bought this pad specifically for overnight youth retreats where we sleep on floors and whatnot. I was particularly happy with the integrated pillow (one less thing to have to carry) Like all air mattresses, this one is not really self-inflating, you’ll need to blow a bit to get it filled quickly. The pillow section completely requires inflation, not self-inflating at all. The pad is fairly thick and reasonably wide, which made for a good night sleep on a carpeted floor. I am 6′ 0″ tall and I was able to be completely on the pad – head to toe. The pillow is a little small for me, but comparable to any other travel pillow I might use, although that pillow would not be attached. The pad also has attached web straps for storage which is very convenient. I am also an avid hiker/mountaineer, familiar with technical hiking/camping gear. This pad is not meant for that kind of activity. This is really a car camping piece of equipment. The pad is quite heavy and fairly bulky, far more so than you would ever want in your pack. If you are driving in to a campground, need something for that unexpected house guest, or are sleeping on a floor in your church with a bunch of high schoolers for a weekend, then you can’t go wrong with this sleeping pad.

Comfortable
Use this at camp for the thin mattress on metal bars, made the pressure points of the metal disappear.

Its decent…
Its a decent sleeping pad. It’ll do the job but its not comfortable. It hardly inflates to it stated measurement. There are better sleeping pads out there.

Surprisingly comfortable and durable! Works as advertised.
I was a little leery about buying an air mattress via the internet, even one like this with foam in it, because I have had horrid luck with air mattresses in the past. I was getting ready for a camping trip, though, and knew I needed something for my back. The mattress actually blew me away…I love it! It self-inflated to about 75-80% of its full capacity on its own in about 30 minutes of being unfurled straight from the box. My friend had a full air mattress and pump with her, so I used that to fill the pillow and firm up the bed part just a little. The pillow only lost a little air after several days of use, and the bed part didn’t lose any air. It was incredibly comfortable to sleep on (though I suggest supplementing the air pillow with a real one if you’re like me and used to fluffy pillows all the time.) I also stuck my yoga mat under it to keep it level and make sure I didn’t get any rocks where I didn’t want them.Packing it up was pretty fast and easy, as well…I’m too impatient to get it totally flat again but that didn’t really matter – the straps still worked perfectly.Definitely glad I got it!

OG Coleman Mat
OG Coleman sleeping mad, comfortable and packs down ok, it’s not very light at over 4lbs so it wouldn’t be my go to mat for hunting or backpacking but works great for camping.Inflatable pillow is nice iffu forgot to pack one or packing light but it’s not the most comfortable. The mat itself feels good. And took about 10-15 mins to self inflating for the first time. Definitely could be sped along if you needed it to by blowing into it.

identical camping pad (branded as ROMAN) available throuygh Aldi for AUD 49.95. The Mark-up for the Coleman brand is eccessive. Unlikely to buy further items from Amazon.

I ordered one of these for a recent camping trip and it made my experience so much better. I never knew camping could be so comfortable. Sleeping on the pad when fully inflated felt great. I felt supported from head to toe. I half inflated the pillow so that I could use my own camping pillow instead. At first I thought I wouldn’t even use the inflatable pillow but it turned out to be really useful to supplement my camp pillow. I’m about 150lbs/68kgs and found no noticeable sag or any stresses on the pad while on my back or on my side. I did have to blow a few breaths into the pad to fully inflate it. It isn’t strictly necessary to do that but I wanted a slightly firmer feel. I like that you can play around with the level of inflation this way so you can fine tune it to how soft or firm you like to sleep. It compresses easily and travels well. It does take a certain amount of space and I wouldn’t recommend this for backcountry camping. It is heavy for a camping pad but not egregiously so. Comes with a patch kit in case it suffers any rips or tears. I am looking forward to using this on a few more trips this year.

Tiene buen soporte.. infla super bien por si solo . .. el único detalle es la cabecera o almohada esa se tiene que inflar, Recomendable

I used this for the first time as a bed on a small cabin floor. I read reviews & descriptions before I purchased, but was still surprised it was so thin. I had my doubts & I had hurt my back a few days before, but I had no choice but to use it. I had a fantastic sleep! It had a lot of support.I highly recommend this. I did not get it deflated back to original thinness, but that was probably my impatience, not the mattress

Es bastante cómodo y muy fácil de inflar. El único contra que le puedo dar, es que para guardarlo cuesta un poco de trabajo y ocupa más espacio de lo normal.
