Fits two families easily
10 people is a little exaggerated. Every tent I’ve owned said it could hold “X” amount of people, yet the number is if you want to be crammed like sardines. Realistically, this tent houses 6-8 people, if you want to be able to move around. 4 adults and 4 kids is ideal. It’s plenty roomy, the tent quality is as good and durable as you could expect from Coleman. I usually get 10 years out of a Coleman tent. It depends on your usage and how you store it. I’ve had very good results using Coleman tents. I like to set them up in advance and spray them with a waterproofing spray and let it air out for a day or two before packing it away. This being a larger tent, it isn’t the easiest to setup and it would be best if you had 2 or more adults to do it. It’s worth the setup. For 2 people, it’s a little overkill.Do yourself a favor and toss the stakes that come with this and get some heavy duty thick ones that can’t be bent when hit with a hammer. I use 1/2″ thick stainless steel stakes and they work great. The ones they provide bend way too easy and only work good in soft soil or grass. It’s a nice tent. I’d recommend it for larger groups of 6-8 people.

Massive tent
Wow, this tent is massive. Iâve had other Coleman tents but they were smaller and held up really well over time. The sky dome 10 is my latest addition and I donât think Iâm going back. Itâs easy to set up when you have two people as well as taking it down. Itâs held up okay in light rain but I havnt had the chance of using it during heâs y rain, windy conditions. Inside I have lots of space to where we have 5 twin size air mattresses, back packs, a 10000btu AC, and some other supplies along with two dogs and thereâs still room to walk without stepping over eat other. The material and zippers are good quality and so is the rainfly. Overall itâs a good tent for camping/ glamping since itâs spacious, well designed with good materials and build quality. Iâve paid more for other tents and has had less than stellar results. I am happy with the Coleman Sky dome tent.

Rainfly pole broke on first use in 20 mph wind. Soaked tent interior. Windows not secure.
This product does not stand up to winds well below specification. The rainfly catches wind under the front lip that is created by the pole. The rainfly pole is incredibly flimsy. Which is odd given the quality of the other poles.Furthermore, the zip up walls that cover the floor-to-ceiling screens do not have any point of attachment at the top. No velcro, no zipper. As such, they come unzipped in the wind and let rain in.Horrible design flaws in both cases. Could I find a workaround? Easily. But I’m not being paid to beta test their products. The verdict: Nice product, poor execution. Pay your money and take your chances. As for me? It’s going back. And I’m not likely to buy Coleman again.

Amazing tent… not for the faint of heart, but worth the effort
Wow. This tent is a mansion compared to my 2-person backpacking tent I’ve used for the past 10 years. My wife and I decided we should upgrade to a larger tent so we could have some more space for an air mattress, dogs, accessories… perhaps we overdid it a little? This thing is *huge* for just two people, but on the other hand it’s always nice to have extra space for dogs and potentially kids in the future.Setting it up is… very difficult. I’m not going to sugarcoat it. It took my wife and I, working together, 20 minutes to set it up the first time. For comparison, I could set up my old backpacking tent, by myself, in about 5 minutes total. This thing is just enormous… there are so many different parts to it. I am not taking any stars off the review for how difficult the setup is, because I expected that when ordering an XL “Skylodge”, but it’s worth noting how crazy the setup is. Taking it down and packing it up is just as difficult, if not more so.But once you have it set up and staked down… this thing is AWESOME. There is a separate room where we put the dog’s beds and a couple of chairs. There is enough space in the main “room” for our queen-size air mattress plus bags, clothes, whatever else we want to put in here. I can almost stand fully upright inside. It feels so luxurious and fancy that you forget how difficult it was to set up – it instantly feels worth the effort. The product is advertised as a 10-person tent… even with how large it is, I think 10 people would feel extremely cramped in here. However, it would be very easy to fit 6 adults and maybe a couple kids in here without feeling too claustrophobic. It all packs up nicely into a bag that fits easily in the back of the car. It’s quite heavy, but most people should have no trouble with it. Being a Coleman, I expected a fairly high quality tent, and was not disappointed. It’s not the absolute most amazing quality ever, but they have a good reputation and a warranty that stands behind their products, so if it rips or breaks I believe they will repair or replace it.I really love this tent – I’m very happy with this order and we’ve already planned a week-long camping trip next summer to try it out for a longer period.

Coleman Lodge Tent
I bought this tent to go camping with my family. I have never physically seen a tent this large in my life. Each room is large enough for a few people, and you are able to stand up in it. I noticed that this tent is more waterproof with better features than most tents. This material is durable and resistant to wear and tear. I cannot get over the size. I think if it was needed, you would be able to fit more people into it comfortably if needed. I have not needed to set up air beds in it but it is big enough to fit four queen sized air mattresses in there comfortably.
