Customers say
Customers find the t-shirt comfortable, with the fabric becoming softer with each wash and holding up well after laundering. They appreciate the nice faded color, durable construction with twill-taped neck and shoulders, and consider it a favorite line of shirts that’s good value for money. The fit receives mixed feedback, with some finding it good while others note issues with sizing, and opinions about the fabric thickness vary between those who like it and those who compare it unfavorably to Dickeys shirts. The appearance also gets mixed reactions, with some saying it looks great while others find it awkward.

This is the T-shirt you are hoping it is.
Read the NYT Wirecutter article/review of the Comfort Colors Tâs if you havenât already. Iâve bought these in several colors since and these shirts are exactly as promised: pigment died, supple, 100 percent cotton. They have excellent ribbing around the collar band â something you donât see in a lot of T-shirts these days. And the ivory color of this particular Comfort Colors T-shirt is such a welcome antidote to your basic bright white T, which can feel a little played out these days. Iâve been wearing Comfort Colors Tâs for about a month now and so far, so good. Their pigment dyed process gives them a worn in look that one used to see in T shirts in the â90s. You wonât regret this purchase â and the price is so right.

Best shirt brand. Bar none.
There’s literally no shirt better than these. No brand, no cut, none. Comfort Colors is king. I have them in black, ivory, dark grey, pepper, blue, green. Wirh pockets. Without. All great. Perfect square boxy fit that hands off my shoulders and chest nicely, fits good around arms, look great with sleeves cuffed or normal, fabric is a perfect weight and softness without being too soft or slinky, neckhole actually FITS. Never loose! Never weird, sloppy, boatneck, ladies’ collar thing happening. Just classic, clean, tidy fit. They break in softer without stretching out. I just love these. I will wear no other brand or style. I’ve also never gotten any fakes from Amazon (have sadly purchased shirts from small brands who claim to screen on Comfort Colors, only to have an obvious knockoff with a fake Comfort Colors tag and all, so they’re out there).

Sizing a little confusing
I love this brand of t shirt. Not too light or heavy. Very durable and comfortable. Because it was a male pictured I assumed that it would be male sizes. I was wanting a baggy t shirt so I ordered a large, (I usually wear a womenâs large) this fits more like a womenâs large. I would size up if you are unsure. Iâm keeping mine though because I actually like the way they fit. I have bought maybe 10 of these.

Inconsistent – colored shirts are higher quality than black
Fabric, fit, and size vary. The size small black was a very different shape than the size small red. The red one had thick fabric, snug collar, and nice boxy fit. The black one has thin, undershirt-like fabric, a wide neck, a different shape, and is more than 2″ longer! See photo. Both shirts had the exact same tag/print and origin. A medium black had thicker fabric than the small black. The colored shirts have a nice washed look, but the black fabric is a straight black. I was expecting consistency, but it seems that the black shirts are just different and more like an undershirt.YMMV!

Can’t own too many!
Comfort Colors heavyweight unisex tees are my favorite for lazing around the house, gardening, running errands, casual dining, or just about anything that doesn’t require formality. I love the heavier weight of the fabric, never sheer or see-thru, yet I don’t find these tees to be hotter than others in summer heat. Actually, I find these soft 100% cotton tees to feel cooler in the sun than my thinner and lighter (and much more expensive!) tri-blends. Plus Comfort Colors tees last many more seasons than the blends which are prone to pilling. Comfort Colors become softer and more comfortable over time. I like the very many subtly muted color choices Comfort Colors offers: brights, darks, pastels, earthtones, neutrals. I find the fit a little roomy, ever-so-slightly boxy and relaxed; laid-back, chill. Can’t own too many!

Great Value!
These are my go-to t-shirts now. They are just the right fabric weight, are cut generously enough to tuck in and stay tucked, and the colors don’t fade. I only wish they had a true black color, the black wears more like a dark grey. These t-shirts are made as well as t-shirts costing twice as much.

Great shirts (mostly!)
I love these shirts. They feel great and mostly fit great. I own at least a dozen. Unfortunately, some of the colors fit a little differently.

Lovely T-shirt, badly stained
I opened the box, took out two t-shirts that initially I loved. Noticed that the bag on one of them was torn open; but pulled out the t-shirt, put it on, and loved it–perfect fit, soft cotton that wasn’t thin (I’ve ordered t-shirts and gotten fabric that was handkerchief thin). THEN, saw a spot on the right front; thought I could treat it with Shout and wash it. Then saw that the same spot was on the back, then saw the spot on the sleeve (front and back), then printed a return label. The other shirt is fine…I’m wearing it as I write this review. Comfort Color t-shirts are great, and I assume this one had been returned to Amazon, repackaged, and sent to me. So disappointed!

Esta es mi septima playera de esta marca. Sólo la color negro no me ha convencido porque la tela viene más gruesa.Simplemente son perfectas.

Iâm returning this item as the description is not accurate. In reality, It is 50% polyester., 50% cotton. It is see through & not heavyweight at all. Only thing accurate about description is that there are no side seams!
