great product for the price
we took this on our last camping trip to the redwoods here in California. it was so easy to assemble that myself and my best friend were able to do it on our own. we also put 2 queen sized blowup mattresses inside and there was plenty of room to make a walkway down the middle and room still for our belongings. the lights are so helpful and can really make a difference when camping with children that need to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. take down was a little tricky only due to trying to get it to the correct size to fit in the bag but once we were able to do it. we will be using this every time we camp.

Protected from an all day rain event
I just attended the annual Girl Scout spring camping event with my daughters, and we knew that the forecast was for 100% rain one of the days. Well, sure enough the forecast was true and it started raining around 3:00AM and rained the entire Saturday. The tent held up very well as far as water leaks goes. I had one little issue with a little water coming in by the door zipper. That very well could have been due to it no being closed properly, so that was not a game changer at all. The built in lighting is awesome and very adequate lighting. My little one appreciated the night light function. I was happy to see that CORE added a few hooks at the top of the tent for lantern, fans and the such. My other CORE 9 person tent did not have any. The instant set up function is always a plus, we got the the site a little late and got everything set up before night fall. When they advertise the tent as a 12 person tent, I take that as a general estimate of it’s size. It was three of us and we had two full inflatable mattresses, a zero gravity chair, two small tables and plenty of space of various gear. The only caveat that I can think of is that the rain fly is a bit tricky to put on, and probably is better with two people. I would recommend this brand and this tent.

Best tent purchase ever
Very excited about this tent. Bought it for camping next month, set it up in the living room to inspect for any imperfections like tearing or broken poles.Incredibly quick setup. Husband and I had it unfolded and upright in less than one minute. Very roomy tent.Battery pack was easy to put batteries into and stick into the holder.Night light is cozy, cabin light has different brightness and the brightest is perfect for maneuvering in the dark.Zippers easily glide to close up doors or windows.Rainfly was easy to attach and put the awning poles into.Didn’t realize it came with a storage pouch that you attach to the wide wall of the tent (the side without the door) so that was cool to find and attach.Didn’t notice any imperfections or blemishes, felt confident when folding it back up and putting it back in the bag.

A few problems.
Pros: Cool design, cool look, innovative design.Cons:1. The tent was mis-assembled from the factory. The poles were structurally incorrect and we had to bust out a screwdriver and disassemble them and then correctly reassemble them. I don’t know how they even got the tent to fold into the package. Nothing seems broken, so that’s good.2. The outside light switch: only the nightlight switch works. Turning on the full-power/dimmed inside lights from the outside is a no-go. The inside of the switch works fine/normal.3. As shown in the photos, the tent is missing a loop on each side to tether the room divider to the sides.I’d send this tent back for a replacement but the box is broken down already. It’s a very decent tent but they’d better get on top of their QC situation.Update: We’re officially camping in the tent for the first time. It’s easy to set up and easy to get the rain fly attached. We just had a horrible lightning storm with a LOT of wind blow through and the tent did just fine. We curled up in bed throughout the storm, which lasted about 45 minutes and was really violent. My only gripe (and this could be fixed with a redesign of the rain fly,) is that the rain fly didn’t keep rain from flying up under it and the water drops hit the screen and splattered us – just a little bit. In short, the rain fly doesn’t protect the windows *quite* enough.I would also gripe that the tent fabric isn’t totally taught and seems a little bit baggy. Our site is perfectly flat and level and I’ve pulled this thing straight from 4 corners and the fabric is still a little loose. The built-in lighting is so clutch, though. That’s a really nice touch. All in all, I’m adding two stars to my original 2 stars due to the pounding the tent just took in that thunderstorm. Job well done. If CORE gets on top of its QC and extends the rain fly, this is a 5-star tent all day long

Awesome Tent!
Awesome tent!Easy to set up. My wife and I were able to get it set up, rain fly attached, and anchored down in about 30 minutes on our 2nd try. We expect it to be easier the next time we set it up.Very spacious. On our “glamping” trip, we had a queen size air mattress set up in the middle and on one side of the tent with two 4′ tables set up on the other side of the tent with plenty of room to move around left over.Sturdy. After reading some of the reviews, we were concerned about the sturdiness of the tent from the wind. During our stay, the wind was pretty strong (I think the weather said 20-25mph gusts?). We ensured that everything was anchored down properly and we had no issues with the wind.LEDs inside worked great. The brightest setting provided great light while the “night light” was perfectly bright enough to be able to see what you’re doing without lighting up the entire camp site.Highly recommend this product!

We left it near the beach with all our stuffs inside due to sudden heavy rain, lightning and strong windâ¦.next day we found it upside down however we brought it back and after Clenaing it was ready again for next camping. Great quality & comfort.

Easy to put up – took 2 of us about a minute to do so – and took 1 of us not much longer to put it down and pack it up – the first tent I have never struggled to get back in the bag.But the bragging-rights go to the in-built lights – if you want to be the envy of your group, this is the tent for you!Tent is good quality, goes up and down as advertised – instantly – exactly as advertised.
