Gift for my sisters baby and we love!Sheâs so picky and very high maintenance so was shocked she wanted this for a car seat (sheâs previously only owned Nuna) but so glad she wanted this one because itâs so amazing! Great features and she loved it!

This Carrier Is Dynamite! Well Built – Well Designed – Well Engineered!
Man, have car seats come a long way in the last few years! Our first was a Graco Sungride Click Connect seat, and this thing is like an amazing improvement from it.The first thing I can comment on is how much easier this base is to install and get to stay tight in a car that does not have a latch system hookup. It has this “lockstrong” system where you run the belt through the middle of the base, then click the base closed, which puts a ton of tension on belt and gets it very tight without having to put yourself on top of the base to get the seatbelt tight. This is an awesome feature!The second thing I love is how the base rotates to allow for easy access to get the carrier out of the base or to check on baby during stops on road trips, etc. Once the carrier is locked into the car base, you simply push the big grey button and it rotates up to 180 degrees! You can spin the base to remove the carrier, which makes it easier to pull straight out instead of having to lift over the supports like I did on our old carrier and base combo! The carrier locks securely into the base every time without issue and holds very securely. I have zero concerns about the stability of the combo even with the rotation ability.This is a great carrier and base combo. It’s a bit on the pricier side for a mainstream carrier, but it’s well worth the money. It’s insanely easy to install, is built very well and works great! I would absolutely recommend it!

Best seat I’ve had
Evenflo knocked it out of the park.This is the seat for Mamie and Daddo’s house, so baby doesn’t have to bring his seat as checked luggage. Pros- fits from 3 lbs to 30lbs, no worries about getting a new seat for the first year, (or 3 if he takes after his mom and stays petite!). Mamie and Daddo have old backs, so the swivel to place him in and get him out will be a huge plus!I felt the installation instructions were VERY clear, and I loved the emphasis on safe use. The safety features are outstanding — from the level indicator, the add-on leg available separately, to the sensor that will alert temperature extremes, baby left in seat too long, or baby left buckled in after driver walks away. This is an especially important safety feature, as we are all affected by stress that can cause us to become distracted at the worst possible times. Not to mention Mamie is old. :)The baby-soothing feature is a little bit of a gimmick though. First off, road noise is pretty much white noise, and streetlights are already giving a light show. It was kind of hilarious that the packaging included two AA Panasonic batteries, but the feature requires 4 batteries. Umm? Ok. Maybe it’s just MY seat slipped past quality control missing the other two batteries?I wish we could have rested the 3 lb baby fit– he was 2 lbs at birth so we came close, but he didn’t get to do a car seat test til he was over 6 lbs and now he’s already 7!This seat truly does look cozy. The baby bucket part is not heavy (although the base IS). The fabric is nice, the color is appealing.I will report back if I have any trouble in the future with it, but I don’t anticipate it. This is the best car seat I’ve owned yet.

It rotates!!!
So we have had several brands of car seats over the years and the features have come a long way.First off – yes it rotates – and it works well.As with any infant carrier, it comes with a base and the necessary attachment hardware. Our car has latch – it was easy to install it. You just open the base, attach the latch hooks to the car, tighten them, then close the base which tightens it further. If you did it all correctly, that base should not move – even with a strong tug. The base also has a built in insert that we used with our car so that we got it perfectly level.The carrier is about what you would expect. It snaps into the base and is sturdy but lightweight. This one has lights and sounds from the handle. While they work for entertaining older kids, it is anyoneâs guess if your babyâs will like them or of they will just make them more angry. One of the frustrations we already encountered with these lights and sounds is that they can easily be triggered by accident – which will almost certainly wake up the sleeping baby. I may either remove the batteries or install a micro switch in there so that this does not happen.As for the rotation – itâs pretty cool. It locks into place and there is a heavy duty steel lip that holds the car seat in place when properly facing. The scary thing is that it is also really easy to unlatch – I am picturing a curious sibling a few years older who could pretty easily unlock it at an inopportune time. I wish there was a more robust lock needed to release the rotation.This car seat does NOT come with a load leg, but you can buy one (we did) and it installs and makes it even safer.
