Love this car seat, wish I bought it sooner!
Have had this car seat 7 months now and we love this car seat got it when our daughter was 7 months old!!! It’s so easy to use, install, and clean! My daughter seems to love it and falls asleep in it regularly and doesn’t mind being in it on long rides so it must be pretty comfortable to her. Our only complaint is the cup holders don’t stay in good at all, they come out so easily….my daughter has made it a game to grab them and throw them around the car so we haven’t been using them since she is breastfed and wouldn’t take a bottle or a cup for a long time but now that she has a cup and we are trying to figure out what to do so she can have her cup there but she won’t be able to get the cup holder out and throw it around….that is my one and only complaint though, the car seat is absolutely amazing and I love the spots to put the buckles so they are out of the way and out of the sun so they aren’t so hot. My favorite things about it is how comfy my dauhter seems to be and how easy it is to take out to clean it up (if you don’t need to clean the actual car seat you can take the cushion off without taking the car seat out it’s so simple).

You’ll love this one!!
I bought an Evenflo Trimph LX before this for my husband’s truck. It was SO BIG! …Not to mention awful to install. I was hoping to find something easier to install that would be easy to get tight because he hauls a lot of stuff in his truck and unhooks it more than I would like. I ended up deciding to get something smaller because it was even huge in my vehicle and I felt like the straps moved up and down too much. I found this for literally half the price and it’s AMAZING!!!! It took me about 4 seconds to install. It’s very classy looking and I love that it still has the cup holders. It’s pretty padded for being a more inexpensive carseat. Overall I’m very pleased so far!!!! More ($) isn’t always more!!!

Great seat for the price despite a few negative points in our eyes
We really like this seat for the most part. I’ll list what I feel are negatives and positives in that order, because I know everyone is always searching for the negatives first in reviews.Negatives:1. We are currently using this carseat rear facing, and I have to say it does take up a LOT of room rear facing. I couldn’t imagine being able to fit this seat rear facing in anything smaller than a minivan or full size SUV. We drive a minivan and we had to move the passenger seat almost all the way forward in order for the carseat to fit and sit properly.2. I also did not like the Latch “guides” that came with it. They were extra pieces apparently meant to open up a wedge to make it easier to connect the clips I guess? Both became damaged when attempting to install, and I’m really not sure what purpose they are meant to serve other than to provide easier access, but luckily they’re not required for safe install so I wasn’t too concerned.3. We didn’t like the removable seat pad. It sat my son too high making it nearly impossible to strap him in without pinching his little legs every time. It was removed and he fits perfectly and safely without it.Now that the negative is out of the way I’ll sing the praises.1. The Latch connectors themselves are very easy to connect (even without those “silly” guides). Much easier than the carrier seat we were previously using. Literally press into the seat crack and click.2. The straps are also much easier to adjust than our previous carseat. I love the strap and button to tighten and loosen! Our previous seat we could only adjust the straps from the back which was a major hassle.3. I love that this has a “ventilation system” so my son gets more airflow while sitting for long car rides. He would get hot, and many times sweaty, every time he rode in his previous seat. He is always cool and comfortable in this seat.4. The instructions were simple to follow and gave me confidence I was installing the seat safely.5. This seat has 2 reclining positions for rear facing and a “leveling” arrow. Very straight forward and easy to achieve a proper recline overall. Basically, recline until the arrow is parallel to the ground. If it needs to recline a little bit more it is approved to utilize a rolled up towel or blanket under the front end to achieve the proper recline.6. The cup holders have removable inserts which makes cleaning a breeze. I saw someone else complain that being removable is a pain because their child was always throwing them around the backseat. I’d rather deal with that than a harder to clean cup holder. Lol.Overall the pros outweigh the cons for us and bump this up to a safe 4 star rating in our eyes.

Affordable, Lightweight, GREAT FOR TRAVEL
We bought this car seat for use when traveling and for use in a grandparent’s car. It is lightweight, yet still feels sturdy and seems more comfortable than some of the other options we considered. We have installed it without issue, and it is super easy to remove. We carried it in a car seat bag through airports without any problems–despite its size, it doesn’t weight much. So far, it’s been a good investment, and I would consider using it for our everyday seat if something happened to our other seats (Graco Slimfit and Chicco Nextfit Zip).

Very nice seat at a good price
This is a quality car seat especially for the price. I bought this for my car to transport my granddaughter and am pleased with the purchase. I gave it only 3 stars for installation. After my son-in-law installed the seat I had to take it to my local firehouse to have them tighten the seat down. I didn’t mind going to the firehouse because a professional checked it and showed me what they did in case I had to take it out.

Car rides with my little one have been so much better, I think our first one was not to her comfort standards! Lol… I purchased this based on the brand and reviews and they did not disappoint, great quality, super comfy! We had a 2 days of 10 hour driving and it was a breeze! The extra comfy pad is a bonus! I would highly recommend this car seat! Easy to install ( Honda Civic 2014 )

Quick connector technology is amazing, but only if your carâs car seat latch is long enough. My car however doesn’t have much room behind the latch and I couldn’t even install the car seat. I tried to use a seatbelt, which is an alternative, but the car seat was pulled up aside and was very insecure.Since we have two cars, we moved it to the other car. The connectors work great now, however I still find it hard to properly tighten it up.We already have Britax and Graco, so Evenflo wouldn’t be my favorite. However, good value for money.

I love everything about this car seat, and that’s why I bought 2 of these for my 2 boys (4.5 yrs and 1 yrs). The padding feels soft and plush, the headrest provides great support, the latch guide and quick connector works very well and makes installation a breeze. Overall feels very sturdy, well made and still pretty light. With all the features that comes with it at this price it’s one of the best convertible car seat out there in my opinion.BUT…… I give it a 2 stars because it does not fit bigger kids properly as the harness strap is too short. It is advertised to fit kids up to 65 lbs and 54″ (137cm) in height in the forward-facing position. My son is about 43″ (110cm) in height and around 42 lbs (far from the recommended max height and weight) and I’m having a very hard time buckling him up as the harness strap is too short. I have double and triple checked just to make sure that the harness strap is not twisted or tangled up in the back or anywhere, and that my son is not even wearing anything bulky. We’re using the highest strap slot as it sits properly at his shoulder height, and with the harness strap pulled all the way out I still need to force hard to buckle up the clip, I just don’t see how it can fit kids up to 54″ in height as I’m struggling to fit my son in. However it does fit my 1 yrs old (77cm in height) perfectly.I thought the one I put my older son in was defective somehow so I let him try the other one and it’s the same result, so I’ve come to this conclusion that this car seat harness strap is too short for the Stratos, and the crotch strap sits not far out enough so it gets really tight. I really like this car seat but unfortunately I would have to return it as it does not fit properly.

We purchased this in December 2017 for our trip in January 2018 but didn’t use it in the plane but used it in the land travel it’s supposed to be plane approved but this time to Mexico it wouldn’t work for West jet seat and it is over all a poorly designed seat. The straps are hard to pull and adjust and the base for recline is right at the bottom you need to haul up the kid out of it to recline it. I would love to return it and get a refund for it but I don’t know now that it’s almost been a year. Now the we finally tried using it on the plane. We ended up leaving it in the airport to send back home. Such a waste of money.
