A quality pan at a great (previous) price!
I have no idea why it took me so long to buy a top quality stainless steel 10″ pan, but once I found this Faberware Brilliance stainless steel version, I just knew “the stars had finally aligned.”I’d gone through various “high quality” (Calphalon, mostly) teflon coated pans earlier in my days when I began having an interest in mildly serious cooking. After the seemingly inevitable chipping & peeling that comes with those I switched to copper, which did fare well for me, for a time. However, about a year & half ago I scored a great find at a local store that was shutting its doors, when I bought a huge 14″ Farberware stainless steel pan (for almost less than this, $18.00 u.s.d.) which was just what I needed for my stir frys. As great as that pan was for evenly cooking (heat distribution) & easily cleaning (as “easy” as it is to clean a 14″ pan in an average split/dual sink) I’d wanted a smaller version since then, but kept putting it off, or forgetting, until just recently. As I said with the other purchase, THIS Faberware 10″ version cooks evenly, is very easy to clean & provided one uses an average amount of oil (or greater) results in no sticking, or burning (eg. minced garlic) that doesn’t come off almost effortlessly, when washed.I really love this pan & loved the price even more (I purchased it at $17.49 U.S.D) but was shocked to see that the cost had increased just $10.00 u.s.d shy of having TRIPLED since my purchase.I won’t say it isn’t worth the current price, as this really is a quality made pan, but the current price really is a bit much for this item.EDIT: (May 17, 2025) as of this edit the price has again dropped to something far more reasonable ($24.99 u.s.d.)The only other negative here aside from the (current) price is that most 10″ pan lids will be too big (if only slightly) to perfectly accommodate this pan as it is technically not really a 10″ pan (slightly smaller; read the dimensions).Other than that, I would/will purchase one again, if the price should drop to something a little more reasonable.

Handle came loose not too long after purchasing it.
We have faberware pots and pans from the 70′ that are still in excellent condition. (With only one having a loose handle, not bad considering how old it is.) I’ve only had this one for a few months and the handle is already wiggling. I just tighten it with a screwdriver.

The best pan
The best pan. Cooks evenly and seems like it should be much more expensive!

I LIKE THIS 10″ FRYING PAN
Update: I just made fried eggs on medium heat, not med/hi. I used a good amount of butter and the eggs did not stick. I realized that the pan gets hotter than my coated frying pans which is why I will cook on lower heat.I just received my pan and washed and dried it. I wanted to try it out so I fried 2 eggs with a good amount of butter on medium high heat and they stuck a little. I just used it again with scrambled eggs and they did not stick. Also, the pan measures 9.5″ not 10″.
