This only fit on the lower thicker portion of my microphone stand, which made it less useful for me.
When I went to mount this to my microphone stand, the clamp was too large to mount to the skinnier portion of the upper part of my mic stand, making me have to use the fatter lower portion for it to mount on tightly. This is a problem because unless you are sitting down, if you are standing this is only going to be useful if you can get it mounted higher where you can see your phone when you are standing there playing your instrument. It’s a shame because this is built really solidly, and the gooseneck is nice and stiff, so should hold its place well. I could be doing something wrong, and I can add something to take up the extra room in the clamp, but that’s just once more thing to worry about when you are setting up on stage. Built well, but doesn’t really work for my needs and my mic stand.

Beautifully addition to your gig stands!
Minus the actual phone clamp, this was built to last. The gooseneck is made of heavy, sturdy metal that holds its shape during all playing conditions. The phone clamp is plastic so we will see how well it holds up after prolonged playing conditions of metal, rock, and jazz. Don’t phone it in, get this! 4/5 would recommend.

Decent phone mount for a low price
This phone holder does a decent job if you need something for lyrics or notes while singing or otherwise performing. It’s easy to fit it snugly to the mic stand and adjust. It’s a low price, so you get what you pay for. I believe that over a year or two, the tightening screws may not hold up if you have to use it daily or weekly and repeatedly adjust it. I also wish it was a little longer, but again, this is about what you can expect for $10

Great for a stationary phone mount. Not so great if you need to interact with your phone.
I used this phone mount on a boom arm mic stand for a gig today and while I’m not crazy about the screw mechanism that makes the thicker part close it for a smaller diameter stand, it does work and hold the phone. However, it’s very wobbly if you touch it, which I need to do to adjust my in ear mix via an app on my phone. I was hoping for something super secure and this is more for a stationary application.
