Comfortable, easy to store
My husband likes to nap on the floor but isn’t as young as he used to be and needs some padding. He said this helps a lot. Folds up very small, easy to store, weighs next to nothing.

20* Campout
Daughter took this on a Klondike campout with her scout troop where they slept in tents. Night time temps were about 20 degrees. The intention was to combine this foam pad with her other blowup sleeping pad to help keep her insulated from the snowy ground. However, she liked this one so much that she used only this one. Not bad for a freezing night.

Work really, really well, and fold up small
These are super – very lightweight and compact. Whoever designed these was a good thinker.I use two of these to give me a bit extra cushion, although they do slip into each other… but that’s ok. it gives me just a wee bit more extra that I need to stay comfortable. I can sleep on my wood floor with these, plus a blanket underneath them (and I’m in my 50s, so that’s saying something about the comfort) (and my back, I suppose, too) ; )These fold up very nicely, and have two big bands that keep them snug. I prefer these over any other thin camping pad by far. Nicer, dryer, (therefore warmer) and lighter.Great for camping, great for extra teens staying over at your house, too. I now own 4 of these.I’ve tried all sorts of camping pads, air mattresses, etc. These are my faves. By far.

Comfortable
Is amazing to put under a sleeping bag to keep you off the ground

Too thin
Horrible mat. Has about a millimeter worth of actual cushion. Garbage and would never recommend to anyone. Ever

Ok
It’s an OK pad. I use it as a bottom layer.

If you’re familiar with backcountry camping, you know that successful multi-day trips feel a whole lot easier when you can manage your weight. A great sleeping setup is a requirement for me these days when I camp, especially after a long day of hiking to get there.Although I’ve owned blow up camping pads, I wanted to try this one for the weight deletion and comfort on a single day hike. The mat folds up easy and is best secured to the outside of your backpack as it does take up more space than a compact sleeping pad (air). However, it is about a 3rd of the weight making it ideal for those looking to cut weight.Comfort – If you’re sleeping on something like this, it’s hard to compare to to an air mattress but since there’s no air, this will not deflate making your sore and cold in the middle of the night.Variety of Uses – Due to it’s design, you can fold it up and sit on it at camp to prevent you from sitting on the ground. It’s waterproof and strong enough to deal with rocky surfaces too.Overall, I am pleased with the product and look forward to using it more in addition to my air mattress for extra comfort and warmth from the cold ground.

I have similar foam pads with highly reflective foil on them to reflect your body heat back to you, so I was worried when I saw this pad did not show the same foil. However the manufacturer says it is foil lined, and it worked well to isolate us from the 10 Celsius ground in a tent in May in Canada. This type of foam pad weighs 6-10x less than a similarly sized inflatable pad. And this foam is not affected by punctures. It has fold lines and is very easy and quick to pack up. This is a simple design, well executed and does exactly what it says it will do.

As a side sleeper, I was worried that this wouldn’t be enough cushioning for my hips, but it was perfect. I was hiking The West Coast Trail, and didn’t want to risk bringing an air mattress, in case it failed. This was the best decision I could have made. I’m always cold, and it really did reflect heat back to me. Also, while I was awake at camp, it made a perfect chair when it was folded up.Just a random side note, don’t leave it around male cats who tend to chew on foam. 𤣠My little guy took a big chunk out of mine.

Really cool camping mat – a little thin but that makes it easier to fold up and transport. It is so much more comfortable than just a sleeping bag alone. I overheat so not too sure about if the surface actually traps heat or if Iâm just always running warm, but yea it definitely is a great mat to have for camping. Tucks away into the trunk of the car with no issues.

We’ve been backpack campers for years (decades?) now and used a variety of inflatable and foam pads. Notably: the Thermarest “Z-Lite” is a go-to for a lightweight, durable pad that doesn’t rely on inflation. (so, no issues of leaks)This pad does a comparable job to the Z-Lite – it uses a “waffle” type pattern to add insulation and padding without a lot of bulk – and as with the Z-Lite it folds down fairly compactly with the waffles ridges interlocking.Performance-wise: it’s what you’d get from the Thermarest – comfortable and insulating, while being durable. So, why did we dock a star? Simple: it’s the same price or even slightly MORE expensive than the Thermarest. OK, fine… but this is a no-name brand so you’ll likely get no aftermarket support. We’ve had Thermarest failures due to manufacturing issues the company was happy to warranty years later. With this one, you likely won’t get that. Despite that, very good overall and tacitly recommended.
