Very Very Light
I had a prior version of this car cover. It was silver and had a soft material liner on the inside. It was was heavier but it kept the car cool. It lasted like 2 summers and then the material started to disintegrate leaving little silver flecks all over the car. Now this one is a totally different material, no liner inside just the very thin rain jacket like cover material. I’m not so sure about why it’s black. To me the car is much hotter inside than with the silver cover but I have noticed that many other companies are also going to black covers. Now maybe that works well in Wisconsin but it’s hot as hell inside my car in Florida when I get in after taking the cover off. I haven’t used it long enough to really determine the durability. I have a Genesis G70 which it fits very well but it also fits my wife’s Mazda CX-30 a small SUV so I can use it on either car which was a selling point for me. It’s easy to put on and take off and that’s important as well.

Great for the cost
*updated*I’m in a climate that destroys car covers in short order and have lost my fair share of expensive ones so I started buying cheaper ones. This one was holding up fairly well for about 6 months until a few weeks ago when it developed a few random (small) tears that weren’t even near any corners. It’s worth mentioning that it is still dry underneath everywhere it has not torn and the built-in straps are a great feature. Obviously, it’s a universal cover so the fit isn’t spectacular but for under $40 you’ll be hard-pressed to beat it and if it holds together for another 6 months I’ll buy another one.*One month later* It was thuroughly faded and begining to flake and get brittle so I left it out in Hurricane Ian to see what would happen. The straps held it on but it split down the middle in about 24mph winds. So I’d give it 5/5 for the straps with 1/5 for the material and 3/5 overall cause there was no way it was making it to the end of the year anyway. I’m sure it was the Florida sun that killed it, as per usual, so I wouldn’t recommend this for full time outdoor use. Would be great for a garage cover or rare outdoor use though.

I bought this in August 2024 and February 2025, the strong winds have ruined it. It ripped back in November/ December 2024, but it wasn’t bad. February winds made the rip bigger and it’s dangling off my car. This is awful.

Iâm glad that I found this product (car cover) from Amazon. Itâs perfect protection for my Optima against the Sun, dust, and moisture here in UAE. Since I had the cover, I donât have to wake up early at 04:00am to clean my car as I donât have time in the morning. Highly recommend this product.
