Easy setup for older campers
Super easy to set up and take down. Large enough for queen air mattress and other gear. 2 adults and 2 dogs.We had a lot of rain and small hail. This tent performed great. We stayed dry had room to put 2 camp chairs inside as well as the portable toilet (sometimes you just have to).We also had a small Honeywell forced air heater that kept us plenty warm and no condensation due to the mesh ceiling and rain fly system.Very pleased with this tent.

BEST tent I have owned!
EXCELLENT Tent! Very spacious and durable. Super easy to setup quickly. Very good quality material.I will say, it is heavy, but I can handle it for it being such a BIG tent.I LOVE it & the kids LOVE it!

Not even out of the box and noticed those puncture hole. Who do I contact about a new bag?
Gazelle, Who do I contact about a new carrying bag? Opened the box and never used once. Used it last night for the first time and has a little pinholes all through the town. Completely unacceptable for this price.

Perfect for my needs!
I donât even remember if I bought this on Amazon or not, but I think it deserves a rating here for prospective buyers. My autistic 4 year old son LOVES to go camping. We have been going for a few years now. As a single mom of a special needs kiddo, I donât have a lot of time to dedicate to set up. We started with an EZ-Up Cube. Those are nice but take a good bit of time to put up and take down. So we added a smaller Gazelle – a T4 – and we love that one. As he has gotten bigger we have needed a larger tent. I looked at some of the others and was about to buy a Gazelle T8 when this one launched. I got it very shortly after launch, and we have used it 4 times now.I love that itâs the same pop-out design but with a larger footprint. Itâs not as easy to pop out because itâs bigger, but Iâm a single mom and itâs completely manageable. It is much heavier than the T4, which is expected. But I can haul it into and out of the minivan. Iâm pretty strong though, so if you arenât strong you may need some help. It fits in my minivan long ways (front to back) if I move the one second row seat over a bit. It comes with poles for the larger entryway. I used them the first time, forgot them the second time for whatever reason, and havenât used them since. For us, that entrance is fine without them. It takes me a bit longer to put up than the T4 because itâs bigger, but only 2 minutes maybe. The tarp that comes with it is nice, and the stakes are sturdy. So far no ripping or tearing of any parts. I donât bother doing a tango to get it back into the bag at the campground. I roll it up, and toss it in the van. Air it out and sweep it out at home, and then put it away fully there.Itâs great to keep the rain out and itâs ok in the cold, but not great for cold days when itâs windy. It ventilates great, but that means it has a harder time holding in heat from the space heater. On cold windy days, we will stick with our T4 Overlander. Itâs fine in the heat, bring a fan and open the windows for all the sweet sweet ventilation. My favorite part of it is there is SO MUCH SPACE! We can fit all our stuff inside, and my kiddo has room to play. This last time we had a larger adult cot, a twin blow up mattress, and my kiddoâs tent cot in there, and still had room to store stuff in there as well as plenty of space to play.If you are looking for more place to chill inside on your camping getaway or a bigger tent for the family with minimal set up and take down required, this is a great option that is well worth the money!

A tent made for adults
I didn’t buy it here but it’s worthy of a review. I got mine on sale for less than $500, but it’s worth $1,000. I used the T4 a couple times on our annual camping trip. That just wasn’t big enough to move around and make our queen sized bed. Changing clothes in it looked like we’re wrestling bears. I wanted something bigger, but back when I bought the T4, the T-Hex wasn’t out yet. Well this year I upgraded and I couldn’t be happier. The T-Hex bag is bit of a downgrade from the T4. It’s still oversized and heavy but lacks the extra handles found on the T4 bag. I can’t comment on the stakes because I bought upgraded lag bolt style screw-in stakes, and I didn’t use the ones that came with the T-Hex.It’s not as fast to set up as the T4, but an extra minute isn’t an issue. I like having the “real” door on the front, and a handy urinal out the back. Plenty of storage. It’s been an outstanding addition to the camp gear. I expect it’s the last tent I’ll ever buy. I’d give it 10 stars if the bag had a couple extra handles.

Bigger Is Better?
This tent is a beast. Plenty of room for a half dozen regular size adults. Make sure to secure it before laying your head to rest. You don’t want to go on a joy ride. What do you think of the color?
